"Not a bad location, less than mediocre staff, waitress who looked like her cat had died, slammed the drinks on the table even if we had done her wrong, a smile not even to pay for it, waiter who wasn 't very helpful. Limited menu, pizzas available but not available at the time of ordering. Fried mix, mediocre, many pieces without salt, the only good thing, the chips, but that fried mix was certainly not worth the price we paid for it. As soon as the mixed food arrives, I see our pizzas come out (or at least the first three, of the same flavour), the waiter decides, then stops because he sees us starting to eat, he steps back, asks the person in charge what to do and the dear colleague, you thought well of bringing them back to where they came from quickly and then bringing them back reheated when they would have had to make them again because not everyone doesn 't understand anything but someone who does understand something can happen to you at the table. Value for money, we 're not there. Positive note: we didn 't feel bad. Parking: Parking practically always full, for a fee, not for the pizzeria. Endless files. Forced to walk a bit if you are not lucky to find parking nearby."

"Old West style pub, nice even if decorated, with some gadgets on display galore, not always in a careful way. On the main street leading to the Sanctuary of Pompeii, a warm environment on two levels, efficient service with helpful and friendly staff. The menu is not very extensive, unlike the beers offered, but broad enough to satisfy everyone's tastes. Superlative sandwiches, even gluten-free, quality ingredients and well prepared. Prices normal. To return as soon as possible."

"I had the opportunity to dine at Taverna 49 with some friends, and I want to share my experience based on current reviews. Food: We ordered 3 cuts of meat with cherry tomatoes and rocket, but unfortunately they were very tough and inedible. This was a big disadvantage. The red cow steak was good, considering the price. However, it did not achieve excellence. On the other hand, the tarallo pizza was a pleasant surprise: really very good. Service: The waiters were very friendly and the service was fast, even on a Saturday night. Accidents: Unfortunately, we found a rubber band inside the potatoes. However, the staff promptly replaced the potatoes and apologized for the inconvenience. In summary, Taverna 49 offers a mixed culinary experience, with some delicious dishes and others less successful. The serve was good, but the rubber band episode could be improved. If you decide to visit it, I recommend you try the “tarallo” pizza!"

"Let me start by saying that I have already been to this pizzeria 2 other times, having in both cases the same impression as the one I am about to describe. I only wanted to try again because I was planning on ordering takeout. I enter the place, I approach the cashier (welcomed by no one) at a convenient time when there were very few people and the cashier doesn 't even say good evening to me or bother to look me in the face, but remains absorbed in his cell phone. To which I say that I have already viewed the digital menu downloaded from their Instagram page (of the Pompeii branch) and that I want to order two specific take-away pizzas. I am told: No, this is the menu ; and the same cashier, without ever sparing me a glance or apologizing for the incorrect communication on Instagram, hands me an old list of pizzas where the ones I had already spotted are not there. In the end I choose two different flavors and he makes me pay without even a thank you. I also agree that the prices are higher than those on the menu on the Instagram page and the pizzas are so small that they look more like wallet pizzas (photo attached). It 's fine that we are in Pompeii, but quality and above all respect for the customer should be the imperative for a high level chain as they describe themselves."

"Sicuramente ci aspettavamo qualcosina di più visto che il locale detiene l'ambita stella Michelin. Location piccina all'interno anche se arredata in un modo carina con la caratteristica della cucina a vista,all'esterno dove abbiamo cenato,sicuramente siamo stati belli rilassati ma a parte i tavolini nessuna struttura che delinea il ristorante. Il menù offre una buona proposta con prezzi nella media,carta dei vini davvero molto ampia e suddivisa per regioni. Servizio svolto da una simpatica cameriera e' stato veloce e premuroso. Iniziamo con un antipastino fiori di zucca ripieno di mare,rispetto a quelli classici aveva l'aggiunta di gamberetti e scorza di agrumi,buon piatto sicuramente. Proseguiamo con un ottimo e delicato primo fatto da tagliatelle con ricci di mare e patate,proseguiamo con una frittura di gamberi e calamari che a nostro avviso si trattava di un buon surgelato. Terminiamo con un caffè alla fine forse un tantino troppo lungo per chiamarsi espresso. Conto alla fine ricevuto nella norma. Voto complessivo 7,5."

"I'd start by saying that at first glance I didn't seem like a great place. First of all, after leaving my jacket in the chair, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. That bathroom has no words to be described if not using the terms:Lurid and Sudicio .The croques taken as appetizer were frozen inside and boiling outside. The pizza as well as being raw was also quite heavy the same speech the breadcrumbs. The service at the tables as well as being unefficient is not always courteous. While sitting at the table I couldn't ignore the excessively high volume of the TV at this point that I couldn't interlocate with my commensali so I was forced to lower it myself personally with an 'app on my smartphone."

"We were starving after our long morning of cancelled trains and a long tour of Pompeii. We chose to exit through the new city gates and the owner invited us in. "I definitely wouldn't have gone if I had read the reviews beforehand. We just wanted a normal dinner. We ordered Spachetti with mussels, seafood risotto and prawn linguine. When they served us, the owner directly replaced the linguine with spaghetti without telling us. Only after asking repeatedly and with photos, the owner admitted to having changed the type of pasta without authorization. There was no verbal apology until final checkout. There wasn't even an invoice, as is tradition in small towns. Prices are not affordable compared to the city level. Unpleasant. Not recommended. "We were seated by a rude kid and an older waiter was unpleasant and obviously did not want our money. We ordered burgers and the burgers did not come out til after I asked the kid to check on our order. This was after about 30 minutes when i realized they probably forgot our order. Our waiter also continuously grilled me every time he went over to drink water. It was extremely rude and unpleasant. When we asked for the check, the waiter fumbled about his pockets and our order was crumbled up. Cool. Avoid this place at all costs and go further down to the friendly place in front of the Pompeii entrance. Their friendliness proves they at least deserve your business and they try. Don’t give you money to people who disrespect you and treat you, the customer, like dog dung."
