".... and this remark is important, because I think the presence of the old name misleads the travelers and prevents them put their own reviews. Probably recently the management has also changed, because we cannot confirm at all the rude staff service, as referred by some travelers. The restaurant now is characterized because all the kinds of pasta (except the spaghetti) are homemade. In fact we enjoyed very much the so-called pappardelle (actually in Tuscany pappardelle are mostly kind of tagliatelle , while here a kind of short and wide pasta is named so). Obviously we requested them with (various) sea recipes. We also ordered two seafood appetizers (shared for four people), and three desserts: including the cantuccini (dry biscuits), to be dipped in a glass of liqueur wine Aleatico , typical of Elba. Last but not least: the bill value. Two appetizers, four first courses, three desserts, two glasses of wine and two bottles of water, resulted in a charge of 97 EUR; then less than 25 euros each. That, for a fish meal and for Elba Island, it is very appreciable."
