"Co op food from down the road served in a restaurant at very high prices. I had sea bass, my partner the fish pie. Sea bass tasted like a ready meal, boil in the bag type, from any supermarket (co op... , very bland, nothing close to special or restaurant expectations, served with poorly cooked veg that wasn 't even seasoned at all. It even had baby corn in it, so you know it 's a frozen bag from the co op down the road. And if it isn 't then they might as well... Mine was about £24. £24... Fish pie really small, honestly barely any fish in it, and it said on the menu served with crusty bread , which was actually just a slice of co op brown bread from down the road. And it had a big chunk of roe in the pie, which wasn 't mentioned on the menu... Because no one would want that because it isn 't nice... That was about £17. Just ridiculous. We didn 't pay and told them how unhappy we both were with our food. The waitress was lovely and no issues at all. It 's sad such a beautiful restaurant exists with the sole purpose of ripping people off by not caring about the food they serve and charging high prices just to make money.
