"The food was VERY delicious. The ambience works, as far as we could see it, also very beautiful. Due to the Corona rules, we would be brought directly to a table and could not see the rest of the restaurant. What was very disturbing was the volume of the (apparently) business owner. The telephoned loudly in the guest room. Struggles with the interlocutor. Something like that doesn't have to be in the guest room. For it was not so full that the other existing employees could not have served the guests. He should've gone to the office to call. For (unfortunate) 1 star trigger."

"Wir waren viele Jahre Stammgäste im Maison Charlotte. Der gestrige Abend war eher durchwachsen bezogen auf den Anspruch und das Preisniveau des Maison Charlotte. Positiv: Der Cremant Rose und die beiden offenen Weine (1x weiß und 1x ein Malbec) waren sehr gut. Auch die Creme Brulee zum Abschluss war prima. Die Foie Gras war eigentlich gut, aber Meersalzsplitter auf der Soße passten geschmacklich nicht wirklich. Wir hatten 2x die Lammhüfte und in beiden Fällen waren zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten geordert, da einmal parallel zu den anderen Vorspeisen war das Gericht nicht wirklich heiß. Geschmacklich ansonsten gut. Die Kruste des Eismeersaiblings 3. Hauptgericht war eher zu dunkel. Wir fragen uns, ob es in der Küche Wechsel gab oder ob wir nur einen schlechten Abend erwischt hatten. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns bestätigt, dass der Geschäftsführer unverändert der gleiche ist. Der Service war wieder sehr gut. Vermutlich werden wir den nächsten Besuch im Maison Charlotte eher nach hinten verschieben."

Waikiki Burger

"Bei unserem Kurztrip in Potsdam/Berlin hatten wir mal wieder Lust auf einen Burger und sind auf Grund der guten Bewertungen ins Waikiki eingekehrt. Der Laden ist ein wenig versteckt und wir mussten schon genauer hinschauen um ihn zu entdecken. Das Restaurant hat neben einem Innenraum auch einen Terassenbereich, der in einer Art Lichthof gelegen war. Die gesamte Einrichtung wie erwartet sehr hawaiianisch von den Palmen und Aloha-Schildern bis hin zum Surfboard. Sah sehr schön und stilvoll aus!Auf der Speisekarte befand sich neben Burgern auch noch Sandwiches, Salate und ein wenig Fingerfood. Der Fokus ist aber merklich auf Burger ausgerichtet, was ich gut finde. Ein Restaurant sollte sich in nicht zu vielen Küchen verrennen, das geht meist schief. Der Burger (Izzy Big Burger) war sehr lecker, das Fleisch hatte einen guten Garpunkt und der Salat war schön knackig. Die Sauce konnte man gut herausschmecken, ohne dass sie aber zu sehr einnehmend war. Der Burger an sich war schon sehr hoch, sodass ich damit zu kämpfen hatte ihn ordentlich zu essen :D. Als Beilage gab es knusprige Süßkartoffel, an denen ich nichts auszusetzen habe. Essenstechnisch war also alles sehr gut und wir waren zufrieden.Da das Waikiki neben Essen auch Cocktails im Angebot hat wollten wir den Abend bei leckeren Cocktails/Longdrinks ausklingen lassen. Als wir noch etwas zu trinken bestellen wollten, hat uns die Kellnerin noch auf die Happy Hour verwiesen und wir meinten zu ihr, dass wir die 10min dann gerne warten. Wir nahmen an, dass die Kellnerin uns dann auch auf dem Schirm hatte, zumal sie uns ja selbst auf die Happy Hour aufmerksam gemacht hat, aber dem war leider nicht so. Durch das kleine Fenster konnte man von unserem Sitzplatz im Lichthof immer in die Bar reinschauen, aber leider hat sich die Kellnerin kein einziges mal umgedreht um mal einen Blick in den Außenbereich zu werfen (wo neben uns auch andere Gäste gewartet haben um zu bestellen). Stattdessen hat sie sich nur mit (anscheinend Freunden) den Leuten direkt an der Bar unterhalten. Nach einer Viertelstunde war ich drauf und dran direkt zur Bar zu gehen um zu bestellen, als uns dann doch endlich der Besitzer des Waikiki "entdeckt" und dann unsere Bestellung entgegengenommen hat. Das war leider ein wenig unschön und ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit (besonders wenn das Restaurant nicht voll ist) wäre wünschenswert gewesen.Nichts desto trotz gibt es gute 4 Sterne, da das Essen und auch die sonstige Bewirtung gut waren! Wer in Potsdam ist und Lust auf Burger hat ist hier an der richtigen Stelle."

"Wir haben nach einem Restaurant gesucht, welches Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen einen komplikationsfreien Besuch ermöglicht. Parallel dazu sollte das Ambiente einladend sein, gern auch weg vom klassischen Pizza und Pasta Italiener an der Ecke. Alle diese Kriterien werden hier erfüllt! Unsere Erwartungen wurden um einiges übertroffen. Der Service sehr freundlich Das Essen ein Gedicht, selten waren wir von der Auswahl, der überaus ansprechenden Gerichte so angetan! Atmosphäre die offene Küche ist nicht nur optisch ein Highlight Geschmack exzellent Preise dem Service und Geschmack angemessen Wir waren sehr angetan! Unsere Empfehlung ist, dass im Vorfeld besser reserviert wird. Dieses Restaurant ist ein kulinarisches Highlight!"

Garage Du Pont

"The Garage du Pont is just a stone's throw away from the Glienicker Bridge, the famous Bridge of Spies, connecting Berlin with Potsdam (and in previous times, West with East Germany!) This former gas station, dating from the 1930's, is now a delightful little restaurant. We all had the Escalopes Normandes, or veal Schnitzel. It came with a side of mushrooms and onions, and green salad with apple slices marinated in calvados, just like in Normandy (19.50 Euros). A side of french fries cost 3.50 Euros extra. The wine by the glass was surprisingly good: 0.2 Liters of Chardonnay for 5.50 Euros, and a Picpoul de Pinet for 6.50 Euros. A bottle of sparkling water, Selters, cost 5.90 Euros. Is there better veal Schnitzel to be had in Berlin? Yes. But the meal was very enjoyable and well worth the reasonable price. We especially liked the setting, in front the remains of the old gas station are still discernable, and in the back a very modern room. There are momentos of the history of this building throughout. The guests were a mixture of older and younger couples, also with children, or just some friends. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy and the service was excellent. We will tank up here again on our next visit to historic Potsdam."

"My wife and I went to this restaurant for our second wedding anniversary and the place did not match the expectations. We chose the place because of the nice views of the city and thought it would suit our special event. Everything seemed perfect until we ordered the wine for our dinner. I asked for the name of the vineyard of a particular chilean wine (not stated in the wine list), the waiter said she would bring us the name right away. However, the main dishes arrived and we had no name or at list offered a recommendation for a good red wine. Of course we finished our dishes and the waiter had not showed up. After 20 mins she showed up with the bottle to show us what wine it finally was. By then we only wanted the check, pay and just go and get ourselves another place to have dessert and some drinks to forget our wineless anniversary dinner. The waiter offered her appologies countless times, which was a nice gesture. We payed, left a very generous 10% tip which was not deserved, but left it anyways for decency. The place was not full and in our opinion bringing the bottle should have taken 1 min, or at least offer some appologies, say that they did not have thatn wine and suggest us to drink another thing instead of leaving us without something to go with our food. In terms of food, I orderd a pasta with mushrooms that was nothing special as the pasta was not fresh, just the typical supermarket cheap pasta. My wife ordered some pork with mushrrom sauce which was also not impressive at all. The prices were a little above average, completely not deserved for such quality. No wonder this place is rated 146 out of 300 restaurants in Potsdam according to Trip Advisor. In the end this restaurant is just a nice view..."

"at originally beautiful weather we flew hungry in the potsdamer meierei and had luck that there was still a table free, outside on the terrace with a great view over the virgin lake. somehow the name does not seem to be correct, because I have not seen any young people there. ; we took the table assigned to us with number 7. we learned that our table was ordered for 18:00. in two hours we will be satisfied and satisfied. to keep the destination only on the kitchen and the service. ; so we sit and note that the cards were fixed, firmly glued to the table. the offer is very small due to koronar, they read themselves damn delicious. my wife was a driver and was allowed to approve a large cola. for me there was a big red meiereibier, delicious. the meierei burger with 180 gramm black angus beef on the teller by frau falkds was a round cache, with black beer sauce, pommes and grilled tomate and lauch (napp 14 euro . I paid with card and two more bottles of light on the tresen. the two bottles have not really survived the remaining weekend, so beside the dish that costs 3 euro and must be returned because we can only return it there. the most expensive food on the map cost about 17 euro, half landed with red cabbage and kartoffel cash, but I had my train. we recommend the restaurant. in the back area was still a bit, with the usual self-service offer, but we did not visit."

"I find the choice wide and still have what has always cost absolutely bombastic, what I served my part in front of me. Decoration on the tables and throughout the restaurant is appropriate and aesthetic. The Wc is always pure and everything in everything, the restaurant gives a harmonious impression. We are absolutely positively surprised. We're all back in any case. Really fast and accommodating. I think all local employees did a good job there."

"Im Da Vinci fühlten wir uns gleich gut aufgehoben . Bei perfekten Sommerwetter konnten wir unsere Speisen draussen genießen. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt im Hinterhof ,im März wären wir sicherlich daran Vorbeigelaufen,jetzt fiel uns die Tafel mit den Tagesgerichten auf.Ob gegrillte Dorade, die selbstgemachte Pasta oder auch die Antipasta waren sehr schmackhaft und erkennbar frisch angerichtet.Abgerundet wurde der Abend durch eine gute Weinauswahl und einem sehr freundlichen Service.Hier waren wir zum ersten mal...und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal ! Empfehlenswert !"

It’s summer time and I was waiting for the bus and there were not supermarket near by and I came inside and the owner, he spoke very bad german and I asked could I buy a bottle of water, I was tired and thirsty and he wanted to charge me 4€ for 1 liter of water. We all know it’s an exaggeration and clearly he wanted to take advantage and charge more. Where is the ethic? In Germany most of the people are honest and this guy should be more humble and more fair. 4€ for 1 liter of water. Hope he does not over charge for his sushi. Honest people always do good for the society. Hope he realizes not all is about charging extra.A bit of consciousness"

"Overall, our visit to Tomasa in Potsdam was a pleasant experience that had both positive aspects and some small areas for improvement. Right from the start we were greeted by the very nice and attentive staff who gave us a friendly welcome and looked after us well throughout the morning. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and welcoming, which made the stay comfortable. However, there was a small downer at the beginning: our first seat was quite drafty and a bit cold, which wasn't ideal. However, the staff responded quickly and easily to our request to move us and so we were able to move to a warmer and more comfortable place without any problems. This demonstrated the team's flexibility and service orientation, which we really appreciated. A small disadvantage is that the restaurant does not offer its own parking spaces. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially on a busy evening or in bad weather. So it's worth looking for parking options in the area early on. Overall, the food was tasty and well prepared, although we felt that the quality could be a little better in some places. For example, the avocado cream that was served with our dish didn't seem to be homemade, which left us a little disappointed. Nevertheless, most of the dishes tasted convincing and provided a satisfying eating experience. In summary, Tomasa is a nice restaurant with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Minor weaknesses such as the draft at the first seat and the lack of parking spaces only marred the visit minimally. "Idyllic location in the Dutch neighborhood, fine and uplifting the ambience. The restaurant seems to be well visited so a reservation is recommended for the evening hours. In addition to the fixed menu, changing daily dishes are offered and wines are recommended. The prices are ambitious, as are the description of the dishes. So the raids were high, but the Le Petit was unfortunately culinary. We felt when we looked at the map of wild boar Ragout with red wine, figs and puffelles. "Bij Herr Dang kun je heerlijk Aziatisch eten voor een meer dan "scherpe" prijs. "Très déçu globalement de cette halte déjeuner à Postdam. Les choses s'annonçaient bien sur la carte même si l'environnement n'est pas extraordinaire, je pense qu'il est plus destiné aux habitants du quartier que comme endroits pour des touristes en villégiature.Le service a été long, un peu trop. Au menu des bières qui arrivent au bout de 15 minutes et des plats au bout de 25, des assiettes légumes et halloumi et des assiettes orientales avec falafel. Pour le légumes/halloumi, c'est très bon, pour les falafels, c'est assez fade, cela manque d'épices et du côté relevé que l'on attend dans ces plats.On a pris des desserts pas mauvais du tout. Par contre c'était un peu l'heure de la fermeture et on a senti que ce serait bien de pas traîner.La note arrive et là une erreur de 12 euros pour un plat non commandé mais compté. Heuu... c'est un peu fort quand même surtout que pour un déjeuner assez light, la note finale est à 84 euros sans le pourboire !!!! Et on a enlevé le surplus de l'erreur ! C'est donc beaucoup trop cher pour le lieu d'abord, pour Berlin ensuite, et pour le plaisir/quantité et pour tout cela, je ne peux pas mettre plus de 2 étoiles."

"Wie waren heute das erste mal in der Villa Dina.....und wir müssen sagen....wir waren angenehm überrascht....der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich....meine bestelle Lasagne stand nicht mit auf die Karte....wir haben nachgefragt ob es diese dort gibt...die Lasagne steht mit auf der Tageskarte...also gab es diese für mein Glück....es wurde alles frisch zubereitet...was man auch geschmeckt hat....das einzige was wir nicht so toll fanden....wir haben eine Cola dazu bestellt....es wurde leider keine kleine Cola gebracht...sondern für jeden einen halben Liter 0.5 l....das ist zu Viel an Getränk...wir hätten gern noch einen Nachtisch bestellt...aber die Riesen Cola hat zu Viel Platz im Magen weggenommen...schade....aber sonst Top......wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder...dann aber nur eine kleine Cola...."

"we have never been in a restaurant where the personal customers are completely ignored, but now we have even made this experience. on a day trip from berlin to potsdam we would have liked to have eaten before we left the city. pomodori at the main station was practical, we thought. there were only a few other customers when we sat down and started studying the menu. we were soon ready to order, tried to catch a waiter who waved the menu and with our body talk - no success, even though it was seen. ok - we thought we didn't have it so bad, a few minutes more don't hurt. a few minutes passed, nothing happened on the almost empty space. then something happened: a small group of young Asian girls arrived, took one table and the waiters started to float and flirt loudly with them. we started to feel uncomfortable – why are we totally ignored. I waved with the hand, then I stood up and went to the girlish to ask if we could be served. one of the waiters, probably the responsible one, looked at me and sent me away to wait until we were on the line! They can advise if we were waiting. No, we didn't. We can't say anything to eat, because we've never been served!"
