"if they have birthday, they can go to dinner, thoughtful. on friendly note of my (given daughter we went to this piazzaria . 6 eater and 5 different dishes, so they can make a judgment, especially since the suggestion had a gast background. we were greeted nicely, space was so attraktiw. we're not getting tired of the cards, a3, so halfway away, something else. the drinks were quickly selected and ordered. when they came two of the food choices, were not ready yet, except the desire of the birthday child and the child was nothing clear. Now, we took this hurdle and then came first for the bambinies. Moreover, the most important eating before our eyes on the table finished, long teig threads, in a Parmesan sauce in half Parmesan cheese turned into the keseflocken, flambiet and covered with black truffle slices. I was allowed to taste, totally delicious! our pizzas were also great, the worked and the ones with the huge flowing. "Staying in Berlin, but we were on a day trip to Potsdam area.. Saw this Italian restaurant beside the river and decided to try for a table.. Sunny Saturday lunchtime.. Tables outside mostly all taken and when we walked in the door it looked busy...but.. The guy.. Looked like the manager.. Found us a window table for We ordered two pizzas and lasagne.. You can actually see the young guys preparing the pizzas from scratch.. I have visited Italy many times and these were pretty authentic to be honest. And huge! My wife had the lasagna and said it was perfetto.. Great food.. Very good price given the location.. (I expected it to be more expensive).. The restaurant is really clean.. Lovely decor and nice ambience.. Happy to recommend.."

"Before getting into my critique, I should point out that we went for dinner only. The cakes at La Maison du Chocolat looked amazing and they seem to have excellent ratings in the other TripAdvisor comments. Unfortunately, our dinner was a huge disappointment. The salad...garned with apple tasted like in an airplane and came with nongrilled and therefore soggy white bread. The French Onion Soup was uncaramalized i.e. not brown! Basically, it consisted of onion pieces in their transparent juice with some gruyère cheese blocks thrown in it. Bread on the side instead of cheeseoverbaken on top of the soup. The waitress excused the chef by saying this was their way of making it. The thin pizza Flammkuchen was alright. The homebaked bread appetizer was nothing special. Together with wines and nonalcoholic drink we paid a little over Euros, which is quite pricey considering we had ordered starters and small dishes. Although we had waited for our food for h in a quiet restaurant I decided to tip which is even generous for Germany because I had not been unhappy with the service I usually try to keep kitchen quality and service apart. While on our way out, the same waitress, carrying a hot plate, yelled at my father who is hard of hearing to step out of her way. It is well possible that this place counts on tourists only. As a resident of Potsdam, I will not return, unfortunately. Too bad, because the cakes might have been nice"

"As a dedicated vegan who travels worldwide, I'm always on the lookout for non-vegan restaurants that can accommodate me as well as non-vegans dining with me, although I appreciate it's not always easy or even possible (so I always carry my own food). That's why I was delighted and grateful to discover CASA TOSCANA in Pottsdam, Germany! (Note: This city has two restaurants with this name. I'm reviewing the one at Charlottenstrasse 83.)This elegant but cosy corner restaurant graciously prepared and served me (and my non-vegan husband) one of THE best pizzas I've ever had--no cheese, loads of lovely vegetables, and delicious crust and sauce--at our corner window table with white linen tablecloth and romantic candle. Both the maitre d'/waiter and chef had thoughtfull and thoroughly discussed my request with me--and delivered far more than I could have imagined. My husband also loved it.It was a quiet Sunday afternoon (midway between usual lunch and dinner times)--but individuals, couples, and families (many of whom were locals known to the staff) nevertheless appeared. The bar also offered a wide variety of interesting options.I highly recommend this charming restaurant with outstanding staff and top-quality food."

"The location is superbe, just a few steps away from the great Park Sanssouci. So there's nothing more convenient after a few hours inside the Park than taking a nice break and lunch at a restaurant next door. They do have some five tables nicely...placed outside on the sidewalk and weather permitting: could be just great. If, yes if only the staff woulnd't be that slow, and wouldn't forget to get you the pepper mill you had asked for which would have rendered the already five star Italian ham starter a six star ham and if the bill would have not taken far toooo long. Although therehave not been more than three different parties to look after.... But, the foods been nice, nothing really extraordinary, but very okay. Their cakes looked very delicious, but we didn't feel like one. Two starter sancks, two juices and a symbolic tip make you leave the place some 23 Euro lighter."
