"I was in Reading to view an office building. It was a warm day so i popped in to the bearby Creams in Reading on my way to the car park. Ive visited many Creams in towns all over the South East and this one has the same expensive design and big store size. Sadly this one also had the rudest most surly inefficient staff ive ever come across. As an employer myself of some 40 plus staff I wonder how this business will survive with such staff. I wemt to order as per attached receipt) cookie dough...immediately the man behind the counter was ignoring me talking with his friend behind me....than arrogantly with no hello no eye contact he asked me for my order....I told him in clear concise terms triple treat cookie dough for table 8 eating in again no eye vontact it didnt seem to be registering and i was starting yo feel unease. I repeated and he took the money and i went to sit at table 8. 15 minutes went by and a lady shouted out from far away are you takeaway i said no eating in . Another 10 monutes later she stomped over and asked me again takeway i said ive already told you eating in. She asked me what i ordered i told her and this ignorant sour faced lady informed me id asked for a takeaway. In the background i could see behind her the same surly tall slim young man whod tajen my order so nonchalantly....i felt i was veing intimidated so i said to the lady i didnt order a takeaway youve made a mistaje and i dont appreciate your rude bolshy way. I left not wanting a scene In my 25 minute wait for nothing i noted there are more staff than customers . One of them had his bare arm in a machine to swirl water. I left without a refund as i wasnt offered one. Horrible experience horrid staff i wont be visiting creams in reading ever again."

"We went for the Bottomless Wings this week, having seen ads both online and in a sign out on the street the previous week. Firstly the staff were all really lovely both at the bar and at our table, any time we interacted with staff members they were helpful, relatable and friendly. And this was despite what was clearly a very busy night. The food the wings were also of a very high standard. We had both normal chicken wings and seitan 'wings ' in both the hot wing sauce and the Korean BBQ flavours. The seitan wings were not massively our style, but they were tasty and well cooked. The normal wings were beautifully cooked and delicious. We also had a couple of pints each of the house cider which was great. Unfortunately that 's were the good points end. We were quite disappointed by the 'bottomless wings ' experience. Despite a fairly high price, we didn 't actually receive all that many wings in the end, and those we did receive we basically had to beg for. Once you are seated, you are able to order 10 wings per person. You are then informed that you can 'order more wings 5 at a time per person, once you are finished '. What wasn 't explained was how to order more wings, or how long those wings would take to come. After trying for about 15 minutes to flag down a member of staff, we figured out more wings needed to be ordered at the bar. We placed an order for 5 more wings each (asking for 1 order of seitan and one of cauliflower) and after 20 or 30 minutes received an order of chicken and seitan. No cauliflower. Again the food was nice, but ultimately in our 2 hour slot we just about managed to have the initial portion of 10 wings, and an additional order of 5. We weren 't there to eat crazy massive portions, but the event is advertised as 'bottomless ' and I can 't see how it could be possible to match some of the boldly advertised 'high scores ' with such restrictions. It 's unfortunate, because had we been able to order a couple more portions, or had things been better explained, or had the orders come quicker, this would have felt like good value and I would been singing it 's praises in recommendation. As it stands, it was just a relatively expensive portion of wings."
