"19 years ago, I held my first plates and deposited my first plates in this restaurant. At the time, I loved the chef's cuisine and attitude that shared passion and goodness. After so many years nothing changed everything was perfect transmission of all these sensations. We were impressed by the perfect cooking of meat that melts in the mouth and fish, but also by all the flavours so well mastered. The perfect atmosphere. The service is smiling, you do not feel pressed but comfortable. We'll be back soon. Thanks for the good time."

"Nous avons eu un bon accueil et de la place en terrasse, qui est très agréable.Le menu était bien, sauf l'entrée : j'ai choisi une salade, je ne sais plus laquelle, mais il y avait de la quantité (beaucoup de salade verte), mais aucun intérêt au niveau de la qualité. A part la sauce vinaigrette qui était très bonne et qui change des sauces insipides que l'on a habituellement avec les salades composées.Sinon le reste du menu était bien : le plat et le dessert. Et un bonus pour le thé : enfin un restaurant qui sert du vrai thé et pas des sachets que l'on trouve bon marché en grande surface : très agréablement surprise.Au final bien, mais j'ai été déçu par l'entrée et vu le prix du menu, je m'attendais à mieux. Mais à tester quand même."

"As we are moored in the Port and enjoy Thursday evening boaters drinks we decide to book a table for Sunday lunch. The weather is favourable so we sit outside with lovely views of the port, boats and surrounding area. The menu consists of three choices per course and I enjoy a well presented and tasty goats cheese salad whilst my husband had salad gourmand with three different meats. We both chose the Fish with a tasty sauce and veg. Knowing that I don’t eat meat the bacon around the beans was substituted with carrot. To finish I enjoyed profiteroles whilst hubby had ice cream and then coffees. The waitress spoke good English was friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend"

"On our way home after a month in France...this was the best meal and totally unexpected. The passion of the owners is infectious. The meal was amazing...service so friendly and relaxed ....I can't add how good we felt as we left but also sad as it was one of those once in a lifetime amazing finds. Go!"

"their daily dishes are excellent, copyy and accessible. The presentation is superb and the service is warm. small budget, you will find an entry/plat/dessert menu. As a bonus, there is a grocery store you can enjoy before you buy. quality and French products in sight, beware of your taste buds, you will no longer pass. update February : my opinion remains the same. this time we introduced the restaurant to a gastronome amateur friend visiting. He was just bluffed. A fan of tradition/modernity blend, you will be filled. cocktail ray, the spritz s germin is to be discovered here."

"I know I wrote a review just a couple of months ago, and it's not often I rave about a place but Don Camillo is really worth it...not that it looks like they need the extra advertising. They have a winning formula starting with great service, great food and wonderful atmosphere and importantly its' consistent. We've been a half dozen times now and always the same - staff are run off their feet but have time for you all the same. The food is great value with well prepared Italian dishes and none of what I'd call the bog standard low end Italian fare you so often see.Don Camillo is a bit out of the way from town centre ( not far from the train station though) but it's a testament to the quality of the establishment that it's always full, at least when we have been anyway. My advice.... for a great night out and all round good value you'd be hard pressed to do better than Don Camillo."

"a restaurant offering a discount to the guests of the nearby hotel where we are, a craving of grill. everything was gathered so that we could find ourselves at a table in this establishment. Cooking is respected and well done. I'm always a little disappointed with the amount of meat. You're not lying, a 140g beacon piece as advertised, once in the plate, seems to be quite awkward. However, my Liège chocolate was gigantic... it might be necessary that the chain be converted into a glacier!"
