"We have eaten here for 11 years and always had good food and service but this time was different. They have extensively renovated the restaurant and it is really nice so we were looking forward to a nice meal but service was slow initially to...order and then food took over an hour to arrive. Even then one of the dishes was not what we ordered Hawaiian pizza instead of Margherita but we were so hungry we said leave it and took off the pineapple. They apologised but made no offer to compensate for the delay and wrong plate. The bull arrived and my husband had paid before I realised the we had paid for the wrong pizza, when I brought this to the attention of the waitress (very young and inexperienced) she brought back the difference but gave it in a very curt manner. It is really disappointing to see a restaurant which was really well run decline in the way with expansion."

"After deciding on this restaurant to be part of our family New Years Eve celebrations we were beyond disappointed with the whole evening. On arrival we were offered champagne and a small selection of canapés for a table of 7, with not everyone on the...table being able to try each canapé. After ordering starters there was about 20 minutes between all main courses arriving, so we could not all enjoy our meals together. Items that were ordered and not served were still listed on the bill. Even items that were served were incorrect (wrong steak cut and wrong ice cream flavours) Overall service was slow but the wine was nice, even though the choice wine was not available on the night. The bill was queried for an additional amount of 210chf which we were then told this was a charged for the champagne and canapés on arrival. We were not told about this at the point of booking or arriving at the restaurant. A final suspicious note were the cut wires hanging down below the entrance and open sockets on the walls. Beware....you might be in for more than one shock!!"

"End of afternoon January 17 we order two excellent pieces of cake (CHF 6 or 7 each) 2 coffees (CHF 4.50 each) 2 glasses of tap water. We were charged 2 x CHF 2 for the glasses of tap water. Seems to me...a little abusive. Everywhere else in Europe, and even in Switzerland great cities, you can have a free glass of tap water if you order a coffee."

"Do not complain about long waiting times in a ski slope restaurant. It's always busy, maybe just before 12:00? Anyway, wasn't very busy when we went, 12:30, don't advise so many tourists nowadays. I also had the pork strip speciality and found it absolutely satisfactory, both tastes wise in size. The beef soup was a tad salty, but still nice for a cold day. Children had schnitzel, super nicely made and delicious for a ski slope restaurant. Service was very good, maybe 5 minutes too long at the end of dirty coffee, but this is really the only thing I can "explain"."
