"This was our first ever visit and what I've been searching for in the region for years: fresh, simple French cuisine served up in a setting with genuine ambience. The chef is passionate, the service is first class and while we kept being told that it was only 'simple' food, it was far more than that. Traditional cuisine given modern twists. Weekday lunchtime there is no choice; you eat five courses but everyone has the same. Personally I love that approach. It is this sort of restaurant that made me fall in love with French cuisine as a child."

The value for money is unbeatable: 14th per person, for 5 dishes (we had 3 entries, a dish, the cheese tray, and a dessert) the coffee and the wine included. and all dishes were prepared with good ingredients. We had a very good time! However, you have to get to know the cause: it is a family restaurant, with a good franquette, where each dish is brought in large plates and everyone is using it! We knew him and were not disappointed!"
