"The great place to spend time, taste the great Italian Mediterranean cuisine with a lot of seafood, enjoy Italian atmospheric evenings and make some sports too (tennis or football on a small clay football pitch). I have visited this place many times and and have been always delighted with a beautiful surrounding. There is a wonderful garden with tall Mediterranean pines and other flowers with fresh sea air, what is especially enjoyable during warm evenings. The coast is just five minutes walking from the restaurant. During a day you can play or just observe tennis or try to play a football with bunch of your friends on the small clay pitch. For refreshment there is a bar, where jolly staff offers you cold non-alcoholic drinks, ice creams, snacks, shots and of course a tasty Italian coffee. But a main reason to come is a dinner. The restaurant is open only in evenings. If you want to taste the real Italian Mediterranean cuisine with lots of sea fish and other sea food, also a great pasta and delicious desserts prepared by a traditional old-fashion way, there is probably no better place in Santa Marinella and neighborhood to do it than the Sporting Club Restaurant. I have tasted different kinds of fish, shrimps, mussels, oysters or craw fish and they have been all great, freshly caught in the Mediterranean sea and cooked by Italian masters of a cookery! All dishes are made of products of the highest quality, you can taste it with your tongue, but prices are still reasonable. For drinking there is a wide assortment of great Italian wines. And the restaurant staff is very professional and pleasant. Shortly I havent regretted and You wont regret either."
