"Locale ubicato in una zona tipo centro storico della località. Non molto grande, abbastanza spartano. Menù vario, in più, volendo, il pescato del giorno da fare al forno. Ovviamente, come ci ha fatto giustamente osservare la proprietaria, nel caso della scelta del pescato del giorno bisogna aspettarsi un’attesa minima di circa 40 minuti per la cottura, e della cosa occorre tenere conto, altrimenti poi iniziano i “viaggi mentali” sui tempi di attesa troppo lunghi. Noi abbiamo optato per: due piatti diversi per i primi e tre diversi per i secondi. Alcuni dessert, vino ed acqua. Prezzo nella media per la Liguria... Servizio abbastanza rapido. Visto che mi sembra che almeno un recensore lo abbia fatto notare, la toilette è esterna al locale, ma siccome l’accesso è nel “carruggio coperto” adiacente, dubito ci voglia l’ombrello per recarvisi. Toilette che comunque è in ordine e pulita. Da ritornare e provare il pescato del giorno. Utilizzando il mio metro di valutazione da 1 min a 5 max): qualità 4,quantità 4 , prezzo 3, servizio 4 , ambiente 3."

"We booked a table for 3, 2 eu and 1 extra eu … all having a valid green pass but the lady in charge, claiming an experience as paramedic decided we couldn’t go in… we tried to explain and show all evidences of a valid green pass (approved by italian custom authority while entering) but there was no way … her app was not updated!!! .. she asked us to leave in a very bad manner and even follow us outside to keep fighting and insulting…. I would recommend her a training of good manner and to study to rules of hospitality. Piedmont food is amazing but you can find much better nearby …. Go to hospitality school or just get rid of inexperienced staff!!"

"fantastic experience. the outdoor restaurant does not appear excessively challenging, but it is already redeemed for the preparation of the tables. all prepared fish dishes with fresh fish from the place. the proposals of simple foods, such as the tuna to the knife surprise for the proposed exceptional combinations, like the saffron sauce that accompanied; the most elaborate (black squid with shrimp tartare and smoked burrata) could not be studied better. the fried regal is one of the best ever eaten. only slightly less positive notes the sweets, which promised very well by reading the paper but are definitely more anonymous than the rest of the menu. however very good the combination of the digestive to the pistachio with pistachio cream with crumbs. price not very low, but excellent value for money. overall the 5 stars completely deserved."

"Savona was one of our stops on our cruise route. We (8 of us) were a bit tired of eating the food on the ship, we wanted to try something different and found Fronte del Porto! We ordered lots of food to go with it, guess what, we ordered lots of beer as well. We enjoyed the food and the beer (fairly wide selection, both local and German). What was even better, their service was really nice. They were attentive and provided choices for a vegetarian like me. My family enjoyed the pork-shin and chicken wings and the burgers were excellent too! They gave us complimentary limoncello desserts to top it-up! Overall, a cool place to enjoy your lunch or dinner with some great beer!"

"I went there I ordered fajita And it was so bad the ingredients was something taste like steak with soya sauce they put mayo instead of greek yogurt and a terrible sauce instead of guacamole the sauce was only green but the taste was something made by factory I ordered my fajita in raw it was all well cooked and after I told them I was not satisfied with the food and the boss didn’t pay attention And I wanted to order coffee they didn’t have marocchino and macchiato the waitress was super nice a arabic girl but it’s a place that I won’t suggest for mexican food at all"

"Il cibo era molto gustoso, i panini erano ben farciti, tranne uno che era praticamente vuoto... Il servizio un po' disorganizzato, sia durante la cena che al momento del pagamento. Era un giorno festivo in bassa stagione, magari non erano ben organizzati. Cercheremo di tornarci, sperando di alzare il punteggio!"

"Recently we have been passing thru Savona and we were told to try dinner at Bagni olimpia or better their restaurant called Maina! Luckily we followed the advice. Awesome terrace next to the sea great atmosphere and delicious food . Obviously very fresh sea food as one would expect in such a location. The owners Enrico and Antonietta are extremely nice hosts as well as the whole staff is very professional especially Francesco, Signor Paolo and Jacqueline behind the bar who provided me always with fresh ice cubes during the evening we tried also the pizza which was delicious. Should you stop in Savona have a try it is worth also a detour!"

"Locale con ampio dehor aperto, piatti abbondanti, pesce fresco e buono. prezzi nella norma rispetto agli altri locali in zona. Il servizio non è impeccabile, forse un po' confusionari con la presa delle comande e i piatti portati a tavola, che ha fatto sì che non si mangiasse tutti insieme. Osservazione che non c'entra con la qualità del locale e l'assegnazione delle stelle. Per quanto riguarda la richiesta dell'esibizione del green pass, comprensibile il fatto che si sia obbligati a chiederlo, però mi chiedo (dato che la signora a cui la scansione della foto del green pass che non riusciva ad esser letto aveva 70 anni), se non ci fossi stata io a far in modo di ricavarglielo dopo vari tentativi (almeno 15 min di attesa) , avrebbero comunque acconsentito ad accettarla nel loro ristorante, o avrebbero preferito perdere 4 clienti pur di attenersi a delle regole a dir poco discutibili? P. S. La signora in questione ha anche rassicurato di aver 3 vaccini, e per di più eravamo all'aperto. Capisco che la colpa non fosse loro se il green pass non riusciva ad esser scansionato e capisco la paura dei controlli, ma evidentemente non si ha abbastanza bisogno di lavorare. Finora non mi era mai capitata così tanta fiscalità. Spiace, perché queste cose fanno passar la voglia di mangiare fuori e credo che dopo due anni di chiusura dove credo che anche questo locale abbia patito, sia più importante lavorare e apprezzare il cliente che sceglie il proprio locale, che accanirsi su uno strumento così inutile e discriminatorio."

"on a business trip we arrived here around 21:15 or so an since the weather was still good we took a table outside. Being a Monday evening the restaurant was quiet. Nevertheless it took a while for orders to be taken by the friendly staff and that remained the case throughout dinner. of course it’s good not to be rushed but this was next level... The food was fine, we took a starter together of various see food and that one was very good, would even suffice as a meal. Then I took a focaccia and my colleagues a pizza. All tasty and good but for me too much. You do get good value for money no doubt. To finish we took a coffee and in total we spent some € 105,00 including drinks, for sure a good deal combined with a good setting. If service would improve, then definitely would score a ‘good’."

"Bella location sul porticciolo di Savona. Abbiamo preferito l’interno perché c’era un po’ di vento. Ma è presente anche una veranda esterna. Il locale pulito, curato con musica soffusa. "Tipica osteria ligure. Le materie prima di ottima qualità. Il pesce pescato in giornata dai titolari. Piacevole dehor e posizione strategica per i turisti. Mi ha piacevolmente stupito la qualità e l’abbondanza delle crudite’ (gamberi di due tipi e scampi) degne di un ristorante di alto livello e soprattutto molto abbondanti ad un prezzo molto basso per la media di questo genere di cibo freschissimo e crudo. Personale gentile. Forse l’unico posto in Savona che soddisfa il palato, la qualità e il portafoglio, bravi!"

"Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione da 65€ a testa escluse bevande e devo dire che, (magari opinione prettamente personale), ciò che abbiamo mangiato non ha incontrato il nostro gusto. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è stato soddisfacente e una volta giunti al termine, alla cassa, abbiamo corretto due volte la ragazza per pagare quanto dovuto in maniera corretta. Bel ristorante ma non una cena da 200€"

"First of all the positive notes: the place is very clean, the girl who served us was very courteous and cmq fast service. Naan bread and I eat good lassi. Meat and vegetables are fresh, excellent ingredients and nothing remains on the stomach. But I must say that the Samosas, although very tasty, are a little too small and unfortunately the chicken tandoori was dry. The chicken tick was tender but a little too sweet. The lamb was well done, tender and well marinated. I have tried many Indian restaurants abroad and I have a decent culture, but in Liguria I have not yet found excellence. I hope the chef hangs a little more to give the fifth star"

"very kind welcome. coffee, cappuccino and brioche in the media. without praise or infamy. a small fast payment with some dispute over what we had consumed. but not because of them both faith and poor organization. My judgment can be partial, we only consumed a breakfast. but the feeling is that they have wide margins of improvement.also because the context of the area around the former hospital has a very high potential."

"We only went here because our favourite Italian restaurants were closed for Xmas. We were not impressed by the service which wasn't overly welcoming! We were given menus then left a long time until they came for the order. I was almost ready to walk out and leave! Glad we stayed as the Gavi white wine for 10 euros a bottle was brilliant! Chianti red was 12 or 13 euros and my husband thought it was a perfect match for Indian food. The food is obviously spiced for Italian palate as tomato flavour seems to overwhelm but in a yummy kind of way! They served our naan bread with our starters but we asked them to reheat it and it was no problem. Also they kind of dumped my bottle of white wire on the table but when I asked them, they put it it in a chill bag. So, on the whole, decent food not spicy but tasty. Good price for what you get. Decent wine nice decor with dimmed lighting. Lots of these waterside restaurants are too brightly lit."
