Pingusto Italian Fusion

A quiet Monday evening and given the varied choice of restaurants in the harbour area, Gusto del Mare won the pick of the day. With its generous size, the odd table of diners does give a cavernous appearance. That said, chirpy staff gave the buffet as the choice to go for. Not to disappoint, the food was well cooked and plentiful at just €21. Duck was delicious. Molto Bene.

We popped into this Italian fusion restaurant after a business meet and experienced an awesome meal. You can eat as much food as U like. U can pick your self or order by the counter. They turn up at your tanke with delights from the grill. The food is so tasty, U dele U cant 't stop! On the end U R so full, U have to rop with coffee Normal and ice cream. And the scenery. ... Love it

Great value for money and excellent fresh food, including seafood! Plenty of food on the smorgasbord! Nothing ran out, as it was constantly refreshed! A fellow came around with roast beef, to each table, and sliced off a piece as required. Beautifully looked and mouthwatering! The deserts were varied and plentiful too! The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was amazing! Everything was excellent!

I went there with some friends a while ago.The meal was terrible, I ordered some sushi and sashimi, it took ages to get served,the portion was tiny and nothing special,plus I was there with a friend of mine wo is celiac, she ordered some food (and warned the waitress that she was celiac), they brought her some food with tempura, wich has flour in it. The waiters were totally uninterested and the bill came quite high for the (uninteresting,bland and very small portions) food we got. They will not see me again in that restaurant

Found this buffet restaurant by chance. In my opinion much underrated in the league table. Extensive choice of seafoods with a separate grill where you pick your cuts and have them grilled. Wandering waiters offer chicken, spare ribs etc from an enormous kebab (and other specialities) which they carry from table to table. Pre or post cruise this is an excellent choice for a fixed price meal (21 euro) which offers unlimited quantities and a great location overlooking the marina. Not the typical Italian restaurant but certainly an excellent alternative. Highly recommended.

This Italian fusion restaurant by Pingusto near the Piazza Calabresi in Savona sports modern decor and offers a good sized, all you can eat buffet for about $14 for dinner and $12 for lunch. There were numerous seafood items on display and my favorites were marinated mussels in wine sauce and shrimp scampi. You also could order lighter dishes such as sushi with a choice of a draft beer or red house wine for only $5. The service was friendly and professional, and I recommend eating on the terrace (weather permitting) to watch the spectacle of people strolling around Calabrezi Square.

This is a place for seafood lovers. It consist of an all you can eat buffet with several varieties. First you have the raw seafood section, then you have a section with different type of fish like salmon and section for fried items. Then you have a corner where you are handled plate and you choose from a variety of seafood items grilled and served to your table. Food tastes very good and service is quick and effective. After you finish your meal, you have a variety of desserts ranging from fruits, Italian desserts of course ice cream. It's definitely a meal with value for money that will definitely enjoy.

Two couples and a 6mo baby. Not exactly the best experience in Italy. The place was crowded, space between tables are tiny. Lots of groups from cruises incoming and outgoing, the buffet had lots of empty spots that took too long to be refilled. Although the food was good, prices are fair. The seafood options are good, and it's a great idea to cook it on demand. Tip: the tiny clips available on your table are meant to identify your plate when choose custom sea food to be cooked. Problems remains within the background. At the end we had to pay our bill at the counter, a long line was waiting for us, it took a few minutes to checkout.

il ristorante si trova nella zona del molo savona. oltre ai luoghi interni, ha un ampio dehor esterno. la scelta principale di cibo è interna, cioè un buffet con la presenza di numerosi piatti di ogni tipo, sia italiani che asiatici. il resto può essere ordinato attraverso i due menu che vengono portati al tavolo quando si si siede. all'interno sono principalmente sushi tipo uramaki e hosomaki e vari piatti asiatici come ravioli, involtini, primi e secondi piatti. avendo provato sia il buffet che la carta devo dire che non c'è confronto, questo perché quello che si mangia dal buffet è tutto buono, saporito e vi incontra pienamente. Mentre quello che ho scelto per carta, cioè rullo di salmone...
