"We went to the Trippets last night with my wife and a group of friends for her birthday’s drinks. It had a great atmosphere with live jazz, great selection of drinks and a professional and friendly customer service. The manager and our Greek waitress ensured our night out was enjoyable and relaxed, and brought my wife’s birthday cake and candles at the right moment. This was my second time there, and will definitively come back soon."

"This cafe was a true find. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The ingredients are top quality. My brother had the veggie breakfast the sausage also the hash brown are home made by the ower. I have never tasted a veggie sausage like that absolutely delicious. If we are ever in Sheffield again we will definitely be eating here again. Thank you to the waitress she was so lovely, welcoming to the point we went back for lunch."

"Went on Saturday afternoon to Upshots other venture called: ELM at 167-169 GIBRALTAR STREET, SHEFFIELD, S3 8UA The coffee is ok, but not brilliant given the amount they charge. They are served in small mugs and I feel that they are expensive for the amount...you get which is meager. I found the cheese toastie I ordered very expensive for what I got . It was a cheese an onion one with a little bit of onion and some small gherkins costing £7!! My boyfriend had a margarita pizza as he wanted a pizza but found that there was limited choice on the board. I feel that this place is very much style over substance and the prices are expensive for what they serve you. I've been to better places where they server you decent sized portions for less and give you large cups of coffee."

"we were here at two places, the youngest was on Monday 26. julius mmxxi, where I met with some friends here. it is a beautiful little caffe that has been here for years, and that is managed to survive both the development of the fox valley and also Schmoyvid-19 while it is still a rustic but flowering caffe with friendly service. when they come to fox valley, they don’t drink a coffee from the costa, but they save money and get better quality and service while they’re also a small local business while they’re here, working in narrow’s kitchen!: we are yesterday on Saturday, 18 December mmxxi again here for our brunch and discount, I’m never disappointed! amazing service, amazing eating, amazing price. I especially recommend the vegetarian breakfasts that go well with a local cup tee. I can definitely not stress what is a beautiful place, not even in comparison to the todtrap that is fox valley, but in comparison to the rest of the stockbridge as a whole."

"Made to feel unwelcome from the point I entered the building to when they bought the machine over to me to pay for my coffee. Not sure if it is because we chose to sit outside or if it was because of our ethnicity. I haven’t experienced prejudiced rude behaviour like this since the 80’s. I’m sure I will get a response that states that this is normal protocol. Trust me it is not!"

"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"The food at this restaurant is always delicious with generous portion sizes, although I don't think the large sizes are worth it. However, the delivery service can be inconsistent. Our previous delivery experience was terrible, with our food delayed in the kitchen leading to a longer wait time. The delivery driver also arrived 20 minutes late, resulting in our ice cream being melted. It's disappointing because another delivery driver, who has a Northern accent, is very friendly and polite and always arrives on time as promised on Just Eat."

"A fantastic restaurant, with great food and equally amazing service. I ordered a paneer tikka to start; the portion was quite large for a starter but not too big. It was full of flavour and even had a bit of a kick. The butter chicken was perfect, with the chicken being lovely and moist. Service at the restaurant was fantastic, I asked for a straw and the waiter couldn't find it and then 2 members of staff came and apologized for not being able to find the straws which made me feel like the restaurant really value their customers."

"my other half and I went to an early dinner tonight and we loved it! I am vegetarian and it is so great to have so many possibilities. I have only one suggestion, and that would have more tofu options (in the tapas/ramen/tempura etc section) as I love tofu! it is nice for veggie options to be something different than just sweet! the available options were plentiful enough to stay filled positiw! service was great, had a nice chat with the owner who is very enthusiastic about this style of eating. we love to support the local businesses, these really rivaled its mainstream equivalent. the portion sizes are twice as large as * the Sushi Square, which should not be named* and they also have the Tapas selection offer and the other hot dishes with offers throughout the week. I used the 2 for £10 cocktails as well as those were very nice and they can mix and fit!"

"I 'm greedy. I say this now so that you 'll understand my small disappointment at today 's meal. We popped in to the Prince Of Wales for a Sunday lunch as we 've eaten there on quite a few occasions and always had a really nice time. We were seated immediately and checked out the menu, paying particular attention to the 'roast ' section. I was a little indecisive so it was great to see an option to have a 'trio ' of meats with extra trimmings. It cost 2 quid more than a normal roast, but unfortunately was much smaller, meaning I had to finish off my Mother-in-law 's roast beef! I told you, I 'm greedy. I did however have a delicious chocolate brownie with caramel ice cream for dessert, so I rolled out of there content. I 'd go back again for sure, but I 'd probably order something else."

"This restaurant is lovely and has very friendly service, especially from a man who seemed to be in charge. However, a young woman working in the back was not very pleasant. Overall, the rest of the staff was friendly. The food was hit or miss, with some dishes being delicious while others were just okay. I highly recommend trying the lotus milkshake, cookie dough dessert, kulfi, hazelnut cream, and passion fruit sorbet - they were all delicious."

"Went to the pub up the road from this place because of good reviews, however they didn't service food on Monday nights, so went to the nearest place to eat. The White Hart. Big mistake. The frozen peas were only just cooked and hard, the frozen French beans were soggy and tough. The mash potato's had a hard crispy top having been kept warm in an oven, and the meat pie was of chip shop quality. Only positive thing was the jug of gravy to drown it all in. All in all the worst pub meal I've ever had. In hindsight should have put the meal on the bar and walked down the road to the chip shop. Going by the food I was given I'd certainly wouldn't recommend this place."

"Late lunch with my son, After we had ordered, he started reading reviews, sounded pretty awful but I said to him what other reviews have these people written? The drinks arrived along with complementary humus and flat bread. Probably the best humus I have eaten. He had grilled haloumi to start, he didn 't complain. Next the mains, lamb moussaka, lamb kofta and coated fried chicken. The moussaka was up there with the best, the hot koftas were marvelous but it was the rice that did it for me, individual extra long grains with a fantastic floral taste. The chicken went down well with a comment that was good (praise from a 17 year old). I enjoyed the pomegranate drink it was a welcome change. After we dropped him off at home in Lincoln he said thanks, the meal was really great. My only comment was the tape loop music, we heard the same songs (pan-pipes) twice. Don 't believe the bad reviews, this is an excellent restaurant. Very friendly and reasonable value thanks for the complimentary Baklava, which was also excellent"

"My wife and I decided to get a takeaway on my birthday yesterday at this restaurant. I had a long day at work and I ordered food for takeaway because this used to be one of my favourite restaurants .. the man was very rude...in the phone. When I got there I noticed that he was rude towards other customers. When I told him that he got part of order wrong he starred to argue with me. He even charged me to add bit of extra chilli to one of my dishes. When I got home the Thai green curry was just water with barely any vegetables. The stir veg contained only lettuce. My pork dish which they charge extra for making it a bit spicier contained only a lot of oil, a few chillies and a few pieces of beef."

"This restaurant serves the best Thai food we have ever had outside of Thailand. The staff member who served us was the nicest we have encountered in any restaurant. They adjusted the chili heat levels for us, recommended dishes based on our preferences, and even offered to accommodate us for the night when it seemed we might be locked out. As self-proclaimed foodies who cook at a high standard at home, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had many conversations with the staff. We will definitely return to this restaurant if we ever find ourselves back in Sheffield."
