"Went for lunch with my wife and a friend as the restaurant was EMPTY we were given a table quickly. While we were sitting my friend found a gum stuck below the table!! The person didn’t write the order on a pad or anything just was trying to memories our whole order after which we thought he would forget to put something through and he did forget 1 of our main course!!! When asked he politely said “let me check” and when he returned with the pizza he politely said “the kitchen forgot to make it”. My wife’s vegan pizza was horrible, didn’t look appetitive and the dough balls was a like floating in grease. Our pizzas were okish. They only reason I have 2 stars is because of the boys even though he forgot our mains, he was very polite and with some more training he could be a good staff.."

"Visited The Three Tuns on a Sunday afternoon. Was given a warm welcome! The first thing that got me was how good the food smelled! Grabbed a drink and a table and started looking at the extensive menu. Some of it was a fusion between British pub classics and some just purely Asian/Indian style food. Ordered the mixed grill sizzler (Hariyali, Malai and Chicken Tikka, Signature Wings,Seekh Kebab, Reshmi Kebab, Lamb Tikka, Lamb Chops and Fish Tikka.Served sizzling on a bed of grilled onions), masala fries and onion bhajis at the bar. Food was delivered to the table in about 15 minutes and just looked and smelled incredible! It did not disappoint at all! It was unbelievably good! We were so full after but looked at the desert menu and it had beautiful traditional Indian deserts on it so we couldn’t help ourselves but order a couple. Oh my mother’s dizzy sister! The absolute icing on the cake! The deserts are incredible too! The Kheer is literally to die for! I live 50 miles plus outside of Slough but, and I haven’t told the owners of the Three Tuns yet, but I’m moving into their gastropub! Sorry guys your food is just too good! I promise I won’t take up too much room"

"I took my mother for Afternoon Tea on Mother’s Day. Service was very chaotic. They had run out of Assam Tea. The sandwiches were very bland and my mum said the scones were stale. The cakes were nice. I just felt the service was poor. We were given our tea and sandwiches. After that, we never saw the waiter again. The table next to us waited over an hour for their sandwiches. I think they did not have enough staff and by serving both afternoon tea and Sunday roast, the kitchen was put under a lot of pressure. Update on 15/03/2024: Despite dining at the hotel on a day when it was raining heavily, the hotel has issued a Penalty Charge Notice seeking payment of a reduced fee of £60 within 14 days or £100 after that. I rang the hotel and was told this would be cancelled but what a shambles of an establishment. I attended the hotel with my disabled mum, spoke to the receptionist, the waiter and waitress and paid my bill with no mention by any of the staff about any issue with using the hotel car park to dine at the hotel’s restaurant. Attend this establishment at your peril. The service was poor on the day itself but expect to pay extra in parking fines on top of your food bill. Never ever booking this place again."

"My first afternoon tea at Oakley Court about three years ago was wonderful. I took my Mum and she enjoyed all the quirky refinements that came with the experience i.e. quirky tea cosy. The next time, a couple of years ago, the refinements were no longer there, and this last experience on Saturday December was not special at all. There was little or no ambience, the sandwiches tasted like they had been prepared some hours before our visit, the cakes were tasteless and lacking in variety and, whilst the scones were served warm, they were dry and also tasteless. The raspberry jam was also very runny and not like a preserve at all. I am not a tea drinker, but the friends I was with are. They were served a couple of pots of tea each, so were able to keep refilling their cups. I asked for hot chocolate and was brought one small cup of my requested beverage, which was tepid at best. I was not offered another cup, so had to attract the attention of a waitress to request a pot of hot chocolate so I too had the opportunity of refilling my cup. Again, the hot chocolate was served only just warm and went cold very quickly. I feel very sad that Afternoon Tea at Oakley Court is no longer the treat it used to be, especially as the hotel is set in such a lovely location. It is certainly extremely overpriced for what you get and I have no plans to return for afternoon tea again in the future."

"Charge 1.99 to deliver, but don't actually deliver to your door but fail to mention it when ordering. When challenging this policy I was advised they only deliver to the lobby, which I said I paid for delivery to my door and everyone else delivered without a problem so this was a first but although unhappy I went to the lobby.....the problem with this was that the driver was still sat in his car on the phone, so he didn't even bother coming to the lobby I had to go look for him on the street.....He then handed me phone for The manager and he said we don't delivery to apartments so i explained his driver hasn't even bothered to come to lobby, ive had to find him down the road, the manager then changed his policy mid conversation to say it not only doesn't deliver to doors in apartment buildings but if he can't park they don't come to the lobby.. so not sure how you would deliver it? Do you throw the pizza out the car window at the lobby as you go past? considering it's 9pm on a Sunday and parking is pretty much anywhere barring double yellow it was a poor excuse. Simply put they couldn't be bothered to leave his car. I ordered in as I wasn't feeling well enough to go outside so this made no sense as I stil had to go outside and pretty much ended up at my car to collect this food, few more steps and I could have gone to eat out. Not impressed. Didnt appreciate the driver lying to say there was no parking even though it's Sunday and you can park almost anywhere and I made a point of point out all the parking spots or the manager lying and adding new policies mid sentence to match up the story. I was really irritated about the no parking lie there was plenty!!!!! stick to pizza hut or independents!!"

"Slough's best hidden gem, offering outstanding value, top-quality ingredients, and exceptional customer service. I recently stopped by and was pleasantly surprised to find more food for a lower price compared to the nearby Subway. I ordered a poppy seed baguette with a generous amount of filling and all the salad options. The portion size did not disappoint, and I left feeling satisfied. I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 recommend."

"At first time ordered with them at the end of October, as they were new on Just Eat site. They gave me an hour delivery time, so I took my time and had a shower. Then noticed that driver tried to call me, because food has received 35 minutes earlier than expected. Usually I like earlier delivery, but not that much. The prawn crackers for £1.75 I got 8 pieces of prawn crackers, I'm not joking, I took so many pictures to prove it, 8 pieces in a very posh paper bag... Otherwise food is very tasty, good condition and I do appreciate the carton round boxes, which are Eco friendly (except the lid which is plastic... Also the paper carrier bag is a very good idea and I really like the thoughts that they seem environment conscious. But the prawn crackers... I am still shocked. For £1.80 or £2 other Chinese takeaways gives a full big bag of prawn crackers, but not 8 pieces!!! Also I would have like to receive a restaurant menu, which normally used to be given in the takeaway bag, but unfortunately they missed it. Hopefully another time, because I still plan to order from them without crackers..."

"Last minute booking after calling into Oakley Court so had no real understanding of what to expect. Probably one of the best evenings for a long time. The most authentic Japanese food since visit to Japan last year. Absolutely superb. 12 people seated on one table all entering into the spirit of the evening. The conversation was interesting and fun; probably better to not go with friends as that may stifle mixing. The maestro chef and his staff prepared everything in front of us and described it as it was served. The courses seemed endless and one or two did seem to be passing the latter courses to their husbands because you certainly won’t leave hungry. The food is exceptional and, to show you how much, my wife has always refused to eat tuna (taste not ethics) but devoured every dish this time and loved it. They kindly, and surprisingly, produced an anniversary desert for us which was touching and much appreciated. We dine out a lot but found ourselves talking about this more than usual. It really was a delightful and exceptional evening."

"Went there this evening, the lady that was serving on the till, handling cash was also putting together the burgers, touching the buns with her bare hands and hadn't washed them in between serving, that really put me off my meal. Hadn't been there for a few months as on the previous occasion I had to return 3 chicken burgers as the brush bristles from the marinade had made their way in to the burgers. Used to love Smokey's but won't be visiting again."

"No restaurant can compare to Burger King when it comes to fast food. It goes above and beyond my expectations and I would choose it over McDonald's any day. A great option that is sure to satisfy everyone."

"This review is focused on their delicious thunder kebabs and fish and chips, which are fresh and served in good portion sizes. I suggest ordering in person to ensure a better experience, as ordering over the phone may not be as satisfactory. Thank you for reading my review and I hope you find it helpful!"

"Our first time at this tea room, so we didn't know what to expect. The tea room is beautifully decorated and very clean. We booked the vegan afternoon tea and were so happy to get a full selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked warm scones with cream and jam and a selection of cakes with lots of tea to wash it all down with. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were happy to bring us Prosecco at request and we asked for tea refills 3 times. The price is reasonable too, considering the location. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion would be, as other reviewers have mentioned, would be to have some background music, as it was very quiet."
