"Apart from the food poisoning my wife suffered, which, in my considered opinion, was the fault of the pate she ate, as she'd had nothing to eat all day long, it's a nice place. Nice log fire, friendly staff, just take great care what you have to eat. If the landlady had been fair, reasonable, and concerned, after I reported the poisoning to her, then I wouldn't have bothered leaving this review but she wasn't and point blank refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever. Your mileage may vary. Will we be going back? I rather think not."
