"We arrived in Stratford looking for lunch and stumbled upon this fantastic little café. Two of us ordered the full English breakfast, which came with generous portions and toast with butter. I opted for the pasta with Mediterranean sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The counter service was efficient, with our meals brought to the table promptly. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They also offered vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Although we didn't try them, the cakes looked tempting."

"This is a definite pub we will be going back to, and if we had just moved into the area, we would been regulars straight away...the staff and regulars were so lovely and friendly. We arrived very late for food as we had been out visiting local attractions during our holiday in the area, so were lucky they were still serving. we went into the little back garden as it was a lovely sunny evening and the locals in the garden chatted to us straight away. We ordered food and although they had just run out of the food one of us ordered (it was the daily special Chilli con Carne not one of the regular items on the pub menu , the staff and landlady apologised and said they would give us an 'adapted ' daily special, that ended up being a massive board of food, all the chicken tacos and fajitas we could possibly eat, a huge salad each and a huge bowl of chips each, all for no extra charge (Emma 's meal is in the photo attached! . Finally after a few drinks we went to say goodbye and even then they said oh come along Saturday there are loads of events going on and come in for food and drinks. Sadly we were headed home the following night. BUT such a nice welcome to two strangers in their pub. WE WILL BE BACK. Mark and Emma"

"We stumbled across Huffkins by chance as we were trying to escape the rain whilst waiting for check in at our accomodation. We were quickly seated and given reccomendations on what to order as we hadn't been before. The male assistant behind the till was so helpful and charming. It was lovely to see how much he enjoyed interacting with customers. I had a cream tea (substituted tea for coffee no issues) and my companion had a salad. Both were lovely and reasonably priced. We wanted to order takeout cakes when we ordered our eat in food, but we were told we could save 10% if we ordered after our meal, and we did so. It was a lovely touch that we were told about this saving. 4 cakes for £10 is an absolute steal for the quality. We will definitely return to Huffkins."

"We came for a cocktail making class and Evan was brilliant it was his 3rd session and he was amazing. Took his time explained every step and was very funny as well. "I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel I should save you all time, money and disappointment! On holiday in nearby caravan park so popped up for a quick takeaway for myself and my mother. Just two chicken curries with fried rice. I’ve never been served such a bland curry in my entire life! It was literally like a pack of cheap yellow sauce, chopped chicken and onion. More onion than chicken! Absolutely rubbish, avoid at all costs! I’m shocked that the locals here would accept such substandard food quality!"

"We booked two tables for 10 people in total. We should have realised we were in for a tough time straight away as nobody else was eating in the entire pub. What followed was the most frustrating 30 minutes I have ever spent in a pub. Trying to order the food was very difficult as the waitress was clearly not interested in writing anything down or even attempting to remember what we ordered. She had to clarify our order twice post order and still got it entirely wrong. There were only about half a dozen items on the menu so I can’t understand how they got is so spectacularly wrong. People had the wrong order, some of us got nothing at all and they also seemed to invent new dishes in the kitchen and tried to palm them off on us. Whoever it was that sliced the bread for the shop bought pate starter should retrain as they’re never going to make it in the kitchen either. Poor quality food, atrocious service and a manager that looked like she wanted to be anywhere but behind the bar serving people. I genuinely can’t see what anyone was getting out of running that pub. I was warned it was hit and miss before arriving but that review was wrong; it’s 100% miss"

"My husband and I are in holiday in Stratford and was told the keys was the place to go, so we went there and had an enjoyable night the live music was great. Only a couple of small things the drinks were very overpriced, and my husband was offered a ‘line’ in the toilets and could hear sniffing coming from inside the toilet itself. At the end of the night when we left, everyone was outside the bouncers/security removed everyone, this man whom I’m guessing was the manager came outside screaming and shouting swearing at customers who’d been in the pub to move and leave the street, not only that you could hear him continue shouting in the pub was a tense end to the night, when he could’ve asked everyone to move respectfully or spoken to his bouncers who could’ve removed everyone in a kinder manner. Overall was a good night apart from that, would come back if we came back to Stratford."

"We arrived at the V4Navigation (Navigation Inn) with good expectations but were very disappointed. The website designer has done a very good job of making the place look like a classy high quality establishment but it is far from it! Sticky table tops and uncleaned table tops with a beer mat stuck to it also plastic plants and cobwebs everywhere. You cant really call a room with sticky tables that have no table cloths no dinner plate mats no drink mats and plastic sachets for salt and vinegar a restaurant! As for the food itself it did not get any better with a fairly long wait for what turned out to be average low quality pub grub as the roast chicken was actually odd pieces of rubbery chicken breast along with bland vegetables whilst the Battered Haddock was full of bones. The mens toilet is very dirty with black mold around the floor ceiling and fittings. All in all a big disappointment for a pub that should be cleaned properly and fitted out like a genuine restaurant!"

"Arrived at approx 8PM on a Monday evening after a 4hr drive. Had the hotel booked for many weeks. Checked in and only two people in the whole place, one a local and the other was the barmaid. Said the restaurant was closed and no other options for food except a 15 min drive to their sister. Pub. wasn’t happy but accepted it. Then there was no iron in my room to iron my clothes for me my meeting the following day. Asked for one and was told there wasn’t any at all on the premises so I left straight away and found a local hotel with the usual expected facilities. Won’t be returning. Barmaid was nice and pleasant is the only nice thing I can say. Shame as it has great potential."

"I have been to this Chippy a few times since Theo and his wife left and St Valentines day we had fish and chips curry sauce and mushy peas and the meal was not good. the fish was over cooked and at the prices i expect better, now, i only buy chips and possibly a battered sausage so all is good except, The Bullying ! constant criticism from the younger man to the older Man. "Over priced for what can only be described as shocking portion sizes. Medium chicken shish kebab with 4 bits of chicken and a large doner that was over five pounds with 7 strands of meat if we were lucky. Used to go there when it first opened but stopped because of price and portion size, decided to give them another go but it has got worse beyond belief. Won't ever go back there and I think judging by other reviews most people are voting with they're feet. Avoid at all costs."

"we visited this pub on Thursday evening, the 10th august, for a meal with family and friends who were all in wellesbourne for the high time of a friend. our booking was for 7.15 clock after a very long wait our starters finally arrived at 8.35 and our main course at 8.55 clock. our group consisted of 5 adult and 3 young children, so when the food arrived, it was time that the children were in bed, and the rest of the group wanted to come back to our hotel to the other high-time guests. the debt was not the personal that worked in the pub. .The two young waitresses ran back and forth and took the customer's food and were both very polite and very apologetic about the delay. the management should have found an incentive to get more employees in this night to serve all customers. we had booked in advance, we were not only on the road, like our friends who had a 6.30 booking and had suffered a similar delay. we got discounted from our bill when we complained, and eating was very nice, but that was inacceptable, and the pressure on the waiters would have both earned them a wage rise. I'm sorry, but until the personal is sorted out, I won't recommend the kings head to everyone."

"So we booked a table via Open Table, received an email confirmation, set off on our half an hour drive, arrived at the restaurant to find it shut, only to receive a text message 15 minutes later to say the same. Not a great start to our Saturday night as then had to drive to Leamington to be turned away from 2 further restaurants who were fully booked to finally sit down for dinner at 8:30. Next time we will call them directly. Ordinarily enjoy this restaurant so very disappointed to reflect this in the scores."

"This restaurant is always a top choice for us when we visit Stratford upon Avon with our 6 year old grandson. We always receive a friendly greeting and enjoy delicious pizzas every time. Our go-to is the Romano pizza, which is always fresh and flavorful. The staff, Sally and Blanca, are fantastic with our grandson and really make the experience special for him. We can't wait for our next visit. Overall, we give this place a perfect score for food, service, and atmosphere: 5 out of 5."

"My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday, 17th December with my son, son-in-law, and three grandsons. We live in Kent and they live in Redditch, so it was a bit of a journey to get there, but it was definitely worth it! We had a wonderful table and the food was excellent, with something for everyone, even my very picky 13-year-old. What made the experience even more special was our server, Summer. She was a delightful and pleasant young lady who was attentive without being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed, asked if there was anything extra we wanted, and served each course with a smile and professionalism. I realized when paying the bill that no service charge was added, so I wanted to leave a tip to show my appreciation for the great service. Unfortunately, I only had a card and no cash, so I couldn't leave a tip. I wanted to show my appreciation for Summer's excellent service, so I decided to write this review to let her know. Well done, Summer! You helped make our lunch very special and I am grateful for your outstanding service. Sly Cotterill."

"Came to the pub, as I have many times before, as its the only pub in town that shows live football and working away solo and wanting an idle few hours to kill its the obvious choice. The food tonight was bang average. Burger and bacon both overcooked, and the lettuce a bit limp. Fries were decent, but I 've had better here in the past. The beer though. This is the busiest pub in town. In midweek, with it moderately busy because of football, there was no Guiness, no IPA, no Pale Ale, indeed no guest Ales of any kind available. Some of the premium lager was apparently off as well. The only non-lager on draught was the Greene King bitter. It 's close to last choice for any discerning beer drinker, but it was as flat as plasterboard, and nearly as tasty! Thankfully wasn 't my team playing, so decided to call it quits. When I asked why there were no beers available I was told we don 't get our delivery until tomorrow . I 'm sorry, but is anyone actually in charge of this place? How can a busy town centre pub, in a prime tourist location, possibly run out of almost every beer? Zero stars not available, but I think you get the gist. I wish someone would open a casual pub with sports on somewhere else in town and this place can be put out of its misery."

"Have always enjoyed the food at this take away nothing to falt there. I go nearly every week and has always had good service with a nice girl at the front but this time I went there was some one new on the front, as...soon as we walked in there I felt unwelcomed, she was talking to her friend constantly loudly and I had to wait for her to finish what she was doing on her phone till she then took my order, she then continued to be on her phone whist wrming and answering calls and talking to them, she then was turning the music up on the tv loudly and was making fun on the owner coming in and saying something and making racist actions towards the owner, was constantly complaint, and talking about going out partying and drinking. When my food came out she was making comment on the kitchen staff laughing at them and laughing at the food, I then got my food and said thank you, yes it was quiet but was still heard and when we walked out the door she made a snide comment in a very rude and horrid way “thanks you”. We walked out feeling very unwelcome and uncomfortable and for this reason will not be coming back again which is unfortunate at very nice food ."
