"We arrived in Stratford looking for lunch and stumbled upon this fantastic little café. Two of us ordered the full English breakfast, which came with generous portions and toast with butter. I opted for the pasta with Mediterranean sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The counter service was efficient, with our meals brought to the table promptly. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They also offered vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Although we didn't try them, the cakes looked tempting."

"Hello everyone, I recently booked The Vineyard restaurant for a graduation celebration and I must say that we were extremely satisfied with our choice. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and willing to accommodate our requests. The room we rented was perfect for our 40 guests and both hot and cold food options were provided. The room actually had the capacity for more guests if needed, which was great to know. We were given access to the room the day before the event to decorate as we pleased, and the staff even provided a few drinks and assistance. After the party, they helped take down the decorations and neatly packed them for us to collect. These thoughtful touches truly made our event special. I highly recommend The Vineyard in Abbots Salford for any special occasion. The service and experience were flawless, and we look forward to returning for a friendly chat over a pint and a meal."

"I had never been to this restaurant before, but the bar had a fantastic atmosphere. The area where we were making cocktails had a unique triangular bar, allowing us to sit together and watch Stephen demonstrate how to make the drinks. It was a relaxed environment, and Stephen was friendly, professional, and informative, making us feel at ease. We had time to chat in between making each cocktail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place."

"SUPERB Sunday roasts! Mouth-wateringly tender roasts with a selection of freshly prepared, colourful vegetables and served with a separate bowl of rustic cauliflower cheese. Crunchy crackling and crispy Yorkers what more can I say? Cannot recommend enough and look forward to returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast"

"Good food but had a couple of issues. We just wanted to find a local pub. The crown came up. Instead of a one mile we travelled five miles, due to road Closures. We parked up, paid the parking fee, which should have been redeemed inside which the bar staff never reimbursed us. After a drink we wanted to eat. Ask if we could get a table. We were asked if we booked. I replied no as we were told we didn’t have by the young girl behind the bar. It wasn’t busy, so there were plenty of tables. Our food took ages. I had ordered gravy with my fish chips, which was really watery. After the meal I went to pay. The young girl looked at me and went to the other side of the bar. I waited patiently It was getting busy at the bar. The lady who showed us the table, called for help serve. The young girl went straight to the gentleman that had just arrived to get a another drink. But the other lady asked her to serve me. Reluctantly served me. The bill was £44.33. The watery peppercorn gravy cost £2.50. The Crown is a lovely pub, with good food. Staff just need to change their attitude."

"My husband and I are in holiday in Stratford and was told the keys was the place to go, so we went there and had an enjoyable night the live music was great. Only a couple of small things the drinks were very overpriced, and my husband was offered a ‘line’ in the toilets and could hear sniffing coming from inside the toilet itself. At the end of the night when we left, everyone was outside the bouncers/security removed everyone, this man whom I’m guessing was the manager came outside screaming and shouting swearing at customers who’d been in the pub to move and leave the street, not only that you could hear him continue shouting in the pub was a tense end to the night, when he could’ve asked everyone to move respectfully or spoken to his bouncers who could’ve removed everyone in a kinder manner. Overall was a good night apart from that, would come back if we came back to Stratford."

"We arrived at the V4Navigation (Navigation Inn) with good expectations but were very disappointed. The website designer has done a very good job of making the place look like a classy high quality establishment but it is far from it! Sticky table tops and uncleaned table tops with a beer mat stuck to it also plastic plants and cobwebs everywhere. You cant really call a room with sticky tables that have no table cloths no dinner plate mats no drink mats and plastic sachets for salt and vinegar a restaurant! As for the food itself it did not get any better with a fairly long wait for what turned out to be average low quality pub grub as the roast chicken was actually odd pieces of rubbery chicken breast along with bland vegetables whilst the Battered Haddock was full of bones. The mens toilet is very dirty with black mold around the floor ceiling and fittings. All in all a big disappointment for a pub that should be cleaned properly and fitted out like a genuine restaurant!"

"visited for lunch (after trying previously a few times and was either closed or closing and ordered 3 lunchtime specials of 2x fish and chips and 1x sausage and chips. the fish and sausage was cooked to order so were nice and hot (or a nice edible hot by the time we walked down to the theatre gardens to eat there was plenty of chips in each portion and the fish was really nice and tasty as was the batter. the chips were also very good if a little chill and tasted quite like seaside chips only a few niggles that is why it is not 5 star. the curry sauce that comes with the meal was more of a Chinese curry IMO and was quite thick and bright orange. also was surprised that the sausage deal was a small sausage as this is what is served in the kids meal and the only difference i could see in the menu description was the fact the lunch special comes with curry/peas ect over all think we will be visiting again soon but it would also help that as we might want to eat in (Great British weather being what it is is that if the opening hours for the dinning area are in clear view before you walk down the passage way"

"The food at this restaurant is usually great. However, the service was really disappointing tonight. The payment link wasn't working, which was understandable due to technology issues. But the staff I spoke to on the phone seemed uninterested and kept cutting me off. After waiting for over an hour, the food still hadn't arrived. When I called to inquire about my order, I was abruptly told to wait 10 to 15 minutes as it was with the driver. When the food finally arrived, it was tasty but the pitta was overcooked and the salad was not inside the kebab as expected. This was a letdown considering we have had positive experiences here before. I am leaving this review to provide feedback, as I feel that calling the restaurant would have resulted in the phone being hung up. I also feel sorry for the driver who did not receive a tip for the delivery."

"We met with my brother and sister in law who were staying overnight in their camper van. We hadn't seen them for over two years and the evening was just wonderful. It's a traditional English pub so it is comfortable and relaxed. The food was typical pub food but well cooked and delicious. The thing that made it so special was the friendly efficient service by the two young ladies who looked after us and then left us to hog the table in the dining room well into the night as we reminisced and reconnected. Okay the dining room wasn't busy as it was mid week but we didn't order many drinks because of having to drive etc but we never felt that we were outstaying our welcome or making too much noise which we might well have been sorry. What a great advert for British hospitality."

"I was presented with a note with our latest takeaway informing me that they are no longer going to be taking orders from Just Eat and have moved to a different, lesser known takeaway platform, with a price increase to go with it. Instead of offering free prawn crackers with orders of £15 they have now upped it to £20 minimum, which for a couple is unrealistic as we wouldn't spend that much on a chinese takeaway for two people. Just greedy and unnecessary behaviour when you think how cheap a bag of prawn crackers is. Sigh. Looks like we're going to have to try and find a new chinese takeaway."

"we waited 2 hours for a table when we just came to the table, they said that they had no ribs that were annoying after we had waited for that long, and after we ordered some extras where forget, then we got desserts there was no icecream. that are 99% of all gloomy when we talked to the manager, she has been telling us about these cursed things. I'm an enthusiastic harvester fan, but that was the worst experience from this chain, after this since 730 we've finished around 1035. this harvester should really look into the customer service and if they want a good meal and at night they will not go to this pub."

"We reserved our table on a Friday night at 8pm. We expected the restaurant to be busy but there were only two other diners, which is strange as this is a top tourist attraction and considered by many as the jewel in the crown of Warwickshire. The restaurant is boutique style and compact and bijou. The leather dining chairs are extremely comfy and speaking as someone with arthritis these things matter! This is a beautiful building and worthy of a tourist photo or two! Quirky and wonky like you would expect from a typical timber framed Tudor building and so quintessentially olde world English. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff very friendly and attentive thank you Silviu and team For giving us great service, good food and making this a night to remember! The food has a typical Italian/American flare: pizza, pasta, lasagne. Typical chain restaurant prices. Nothing extraordinary, but it doesn’t pretend to be! This is not fine dining, or pretentious nosh. This is Good food in a great place and perfect for families and friends to gather for celebrations or cosy intimate dinners. So where are the people? Frightened by Coronavirus? Checking out the many other eateries in Stratford? Or just unaware that this is a charming place to dine; full of character and history with a great ambience and great grub! Who knows.... but I am happy to keep this my little secret My only negative would be to remove the pictures if MPW from the walls and replace with something chic contemporary!"

"A small team and a small cafe/restaurant that are too easy to overlook when you visit Stratford. We are glad we kind of stumbled across them because I saw the 'gluten free ' words on their board outside. We liked the place so much that we lunched there three times during our week in Stratford. Great Italian food and a very pleasant venue for a snack, a meal or just drinks. Highly recommended. Dietary restrictions: Good knowledge of gluten free requirements and happy to cater for them."

"Came to the pub, as I have many times before, as its the only pub in town that shows live football and working away solo and wanting an idle few hours to kill its the obvious choice. The food tonight was bang average. Burger and bacon both overcooked, and the lettuce a bit limp. Fries were decent, but I 've had better here in the past. The beer though. This is the busiest pub in town. In midweek, with it moderately busy because of football, there was no Guiness, no IPA, no Pale Ale, indeed no guest Ales of any kind available. Some of the premium lager was apparently off as well. The only non-lager on draught was the Greene King bitter. It 's close to last choice for any discerning beer drinker, but it was as flat as plasterboard, and nearly as tasty! Thankfully wasn 't my team playing, so decided to call it quits. When I asked why there were no beers available I was told we don 't get our delivery until tomorrow . I 'm sorry, but is anyone actually in charge of this place? How can a busy town centre pub, in a prime tourist location, possibly run out of almost every beer? Zero stars not available, but I think you get the gist. I wish someone would open a casual pub with sports on somewhere else in town and this place can be put out of its misery."

"an overnight stay to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a small culture for me and my sis, toni. after a nice day of sightseeing, bus tours, stop in the pubs for a little local fayre, we had to make a decision for dinner. the main kitchen of the opposition. our first choice was the dirty duck. we had heard that this was “the place to go” – so we believed them. they are the tourist crowd. we wandered around the big restaurant, hoping that someone would notice us and sit us. sad, at the end we sat and tried our best to get someone the attention some menus. what we got was a group of people who went to us and said: “Don’t do!” we asked. “What do not do?” “Don’t eat it, its terrible, terrible in fact!” then they showed us some terrible photos of eating. we got up and got out. it was good that no one came to us. the opposition was recommended by the people who go."
"Absolutely shocking afternoon tea visited The Bell for afternoon tea for my Mums 84th birthday booking well over a month in advance and had high hopes given the positive reviews . The lady serving us was very polite and that’s where anything remotely positive ended . Two large plates of stale curled up sandwiches arrived and some form of greasy cut up flatbread with pieces falafel on which was just soggy . The ‘cakes’ arrived where we were advised they had run out of scones so we had two scones with no clotted cream or butter and the scones were replaced with donuts that were rock hard . This was not my idea of afternoon tea, there were some other form of cake which was just cheap and nasty . The whole thing lacked any care. We were offered a replacement so we had fishfinger sandwiches and a chicken sandwich all were completely soggy by this time I gave up."

"Booked for of us for Sunday lunch. The pub is a lovely unspoiled building. We were spoken to immediately on entering and taken to our table by the very friendly bar/ restaurant lady who was enthusiastic and attentive throughout our visit. The food was excellent. of us had the pie “stack” and the others had the chicken Sunday lunch. Both were very good. Tasty, hot and plentiful. We had puddings too which were also excellent. Highly recommended"
