"Friday evening drinks so dipped at 19:30 clock into the havelock. this place sprinkled on a Friday night and we were shocked to see so many empty tables and the bar almost empty. when entering I soon realized why. we went...in and drove to the bar to quickly say that we don't stand or order at the bar, we needed a seat and it was just table service. we were directed to sit on high bar stools in a barrel in a small area next to the gents toilets. despite the restaurants that are almost empty and there are many tables, but drinks can only sit in a 4-5 high bar tables area in the window. the staff was not very friendly and looked sick. we ordered some drinks. they had fled from landlord, so my other half took place on a pint of ship yard. they serve only wine in small bottles that leave a very limited selection. I asked for a few scratches to be said that they don't sell any more, but we could order some picky bits from the menu. we ordered the homemade alioli and Ciabatta....the brot was hard and I would say stele. the atmosphere was not pleasant. this place has completely lost its soul. it bets the question, what is it? it is certainly no pub anymore and seems to be a restaurant. if they are looking for a pub atmosphere, then that is not the place. we ended our drinks and left and went to the cross keys in the village, which was much better. the kerle sat next to us, we go for exactly the same reasons into the vic. such a scandal because the preparation of this place was really busy."

Minchella's Fish And Chips

Minchella's Fish And Chips

"to understand my experience in this diner, I must begin at the beginning, because it is a story of disappointment and redemption. of muscles and beautiful photos. but above all from fishing and from chips. I took an train from hard pool to sunderland during my vacation in Britain. my goal was a grotto, from which I was told by a friend who has a restaurant and pub built in a wall of the cave. I arrived at the railway station sunderland and drove to the railway station to take the bus on the coast. I had planned to stop in souter lighthouse first, but when I came to the roker park, I hit the stop button on the bus and came out immediately. from there I decided to climb it the rest of the way to the coast, a total of about 7 miles. When I walked along the coast, I saw many beautiful places and took many pictures on the way. I stopped at souter lighthouse and even got the chance to go to the lighthouse. from there I continued my trip to marsden grotto, just to find out that it was closed. I had hoped to get some fish and chips and a pint when I arrived there, but unfortunately my trip had come to her end, and my dear had nothing to show for it. I wandered back about another mile because I had seen some dinge from the lighthouse I had missed on the way. at this time the sun was in the position and my dear smell. I finally returned to the bus and went towards the city. I had seen some fish and chip connections there, it was just a question I would choose from. remember, up to this point I never had real, authentic English fish and chips. this coupled with the fact that I had just migrated 8 miles, as well as the disappointment of the grotte that 't open for business, they can imagine that minchella 's was a place for acidic eyes. I chose minchella because it looked so dazzling, all glowed in the dark. there was no insider memory, but they had tables and chairs at the front so I could enjoy my firm under the moonlight. fish and chips, please. and a coke. She asked if I wanted a few fried brote about which I was very committed. I had everything in salt and edgy debris and began to destroy the chips that covered the fried fish. they had given me a wooden utensil that was a spork, and it seemed to do the trick. Finally, I had paved one way through the chips and it was time to have my first bite of economical, delicious fish. it was all I had dreamed of and more. Honestly, one of the most epic and unforgettable meals I had ever lived in my life. while I would encourage someone to duplicate the adventurous I had, even if they were not so adventurous, I would still highly recommend minchella 's for fish and chips in sunderland. Despite the epic journey that brought me to this little food stand, they do fish and chips right, and I find it hard to believe I will find something better for the rest of my days."

"I have been going to the Motiraj for over 20 years and always promoted to everyone how it 's the best.... Well NOT anymore. I ordered a takeaway from the restaurant about 2 weeks ago (like I have done for many years), but this time the food wasn 't great. I sent the restaurant a kindly worded email to explaon and feedback my disappointment (in case there was a new chef etc. I received a lovely email back from Shafy giving his apologies along with a good will gesture of a refund, which I accepted as £50 is a lot of money. SHAFY 'S REPLY: Hi Deborah I’m extremely sorry for this experience with the food you picked up from motiraj. You are a very valuable customer of ours and I will have a strong conversation with the staff tonight regarding this. The only excuse I can give the kitchen staff is that it was very busy last night more than a normal Saturday evening. I will refund your money or do a full takeaway again when you like. Sorry once again Shafy About a week later I ordered another takeaway from here online, but to my shock I received an email stating that my order was unsuccessful. I called the restaurant and spoke to Mr Islam the Owner/Manager who said my ordered was rejected because I complained the week before. He then extremely rudely told me never to order or book with his restaurant again, and the reason.....because I had accepted a refund!!!! I explained to him that in 20 years I had never complained and then even when I do it was more feedback than a complaint, I couldn 't have worded by email any nicer. He is the most rudest, obnoxious, and nasty restaurant owner I have ever met. I feel so sorry for his staff, if he talks to loyal customers like that, then God only knows how he speaks to the poor staff, who are lovely, polite, and hardworking people. If I was you, I would go elsewhere and avoid thus horrible man!! Service: Take out Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Do not order Nando’s Delivery! We ordered at 9:35pm and when we first ordered it said delivery would take 30 mins, after we ordered the estimated delivery time changed to over an hour. When I called about this, your staff member asked whether I’d ordered through Deliveroo or your website, I said your website, the staff member said “that’s also through Deliveroo” so I said “Why ask then if it’s all through Deliveroo, what difference does this make”, your member of staff then put down the phone on me. After this every time I called the phone was picked up and put down straight away, totally unacceptable and rude for absolutely no reason. Then, at 10:40pm, Deliveroo customer service called me and said the restaurant had cancelled the order because they’re closed. Why make us wait an hour? We ordered when you were still open? It would be helpful too if your staff didn’t pass 100% of the blame onto Deliveroo, the payment was made to NANDO’S it is on my bank statement to NANDO’S therefore you are responsible. I still haven’t had my refund of £70 because of your incompetency and the aggressive attitude from the staff didn’t help. Not even as much as an apology from your team, just “you’ll have to speak to deliveroo we don’t deal with that”. Does the Deliveroo driver come into the kitchen and make the food as well? Restaurant ran by absolute morons with 0 experience in customer service or experience in resolving a customer complaint. Disgusting."
