"a great bravo in the kitchen, I finally found pleasure in eating in a restaurant, ravioli of magic crabs, the very successful dish and a special mention for dessert based on pears and cheeses, dared to see the customers of foreign tourists who surely are not used to discover odious dishes like his, I do not always remember this exceptional dessert. the only thing to say for me are the really limiting portions, my wife was not out with hunger in the belly but I (not a big basic eater) I was clearly very hungry when I left. a little frustrated is a shame, given the quality of the kitchen I would have preferred to pay more but not to come out hungry."

"this was our 3rd stay in this beautiful hotel over a 25-year-old time span. it is one of our most unforgettable places. we were so glad that this wonderful facility is still in the possession of the same owner sandrine roti. the rooms are large, immaculate and full of history. eating is excellent! we stayed for 3 nights and booked the restaurant for 2 nights in advance. they were closed in the 3rd night or we would have booked it. we could visit outside to eat in the courtyard and watch the lights arrived on the hill. Previous visits we ate in the dining room with the kamin roaring. many thanks for another wonderful visit!"

"We love this little town! Visiting from London, we were very pleased we found this wonderful place to eat dinner! It is truly a Hidden Gem, tucked away in a quiet location. We were with family whose French is quite good, however, the Chef's English was fantastic and her understanding of our daughter allergies through the language barrier was faultless; she kindly prepared our daughter an allergy free plate! Very grateful! The food was delicious, and a small bonus: their red wine was vegan too! Happy customers who will return on our next visit from England! Thank you for accommodating us! "we went with family thinking dinner nicely unfortunately we had smoked neighbors who had no quit smoking making the dishes much less enjoyable. Only one waitress so very busy. the concoct chef of good dishes that we could not enjoy. the value ratio is not there and it is a shame. "An attractive cafe bistrot around the corner from Henry's Bar we received a warm welcome and taken to a small table for two in the compact inside dining room the staff were great and worked hard as the place was packed, inside and out that's when it all went wrong ! Customers around us were being served that had come in much later than us and after 45 minutes we enquired where was our pizzas nobody apologised for our order being overlooked forgotten and miraculously 2 pizzas suddenly appeared which had obviously been taken out of the oven prematurely as both pizza bases were not properly cooked, still semi raw dough we reluctantly paid the bill and left the uneaten pizzas on the table for all to see !"

"We ate at the restaurant for the Mother’s Day, with a special fixed menu for the event. Already the first surprising thing we arrive at 12.25 for a reservation at 12.30 and we are asked to wait in the waiting room of the hotel because the restaurant is not yet ready. We are then offered the cocktail of the day at 17€ that was very good but served in a very small glass full of ice and that we ended in two barleys... damage. Then at 12.40 we always wait, the guests accumulate in the waiting room of the hotel but it doesn’t seem to worry people... some guests then decide to go back to the restaurant to reach the terrace. we follow. 12.45 here we sit at our table (large table with 5 small bread plate and a bottle of olive oil) 13.00 and we had to ask for the menu of the day because our server (young novice) turns round with the feeling of not knowing what to do. The terrace fills it very quickly and panic begins. The whole staff seems to be outdated. And that confirms it. We're in front of three times with bread without ever proposing. We have ordered a child menu (child of 3 years) we go back 3 times to get the menu as it is now 13.30 and we still have nothing... it happens we answer. 14.00 and we really start starving... we finally get the entrance, but for the child always nothing.. we show our impatience and after 5 minutes it finally happens. To conclude we ended at 15.30 the lunch with the feeling that despite a good meal and a very nice setting we will not return because the service is terrible.."

"owners of a guest room on vence we try the different restaurants of our commune to advise our customers. As soon as the arrival little worries, impossible to find a map while the restaurant is not full, then small lap to the toilet (sales) to wash hands and pass in front of the kitchen not engaging. Order of 2 spritzs (more gaseous water than prosecco) and as an entrance since the focaccia is on the map I ask for a simple focaccia without filling (as in italia yet not so far): answer: it is not expected we can not put a filling!(all to satisfy the customer). Back to the air conditioner waiting for our wok gambas st jacques I ask for some olives because the aero was served cash without amuse mouth (7 euros anyway) and at the 3rd asks the waiter brings us back cold and dried pizza squares that looked like pizza remains that I had seen dragging back into the room by going to the toilet. Result: I paid our two aperos and went to dinner somewhere else."
