"If it is true that the external presentation isn 't the most attractive, nevertheless you forget this detail as soon as you sit down and start eating. The restaurant is large with also an ample outdoor seating area. They are comfortable with large groups, I was there with family on a special occasion last Sunday and all worked like clockwork. Everything was delicious and abundant, like any typical Italian family wants it. I loved the mixed starters including the prosciutto and salame served with figs of two qualities, the panzanella, the spicy meat balls and lots more. We had two pasta dishes as primo , one was a delicious porcini risotto (the porcinis were so big I had to cut them with the knife and the other tagliatelle with local ragu ' sauce, absolutely delicious. Second was also well represented with typical Tagliata di manzo (lightly cooked beef, in thin slices served with a variety of lightly fried vegetables, and Arrosto d 'arista (pork roast along some roasted potatoes. All was diluted with some Morellino wine (red , which was easy (too easy! to drink and palatable. We concluded with an assortment of delicious pastries, of which my favourite was the apple and pine nut variety with cream. The service was friendly, prompt and efficient at the time of my experience, so I cannot agree with the other reviews I read on this site. Actually I loved every minute of this meal and definitely needed a long walk afterwards!"

"a dark evening that spent at the small prince, the prestigious bi-star restaurant located inside the hotel prince of Piedmont. location on the veranda along the road, anonymous and retro’, definitely not captivating and refined. good welcome, wide choice between the various menus, very wide the wine card. excellent, well-kept, tasty and innovative cuisine of the chef mancino, with dishes of absolute excellence such as pizzaiola. Unfortunately, during the evening, there were some unacceptable episodes for a local of this level. I am referring to : rice flour ravioli were not filled with kings crab, as provided by the menu on the website, but of stoccafisso, stopposo and much less attractive . the sommelier that after my choice of yellow red wine asks me: but do you know it??? instead of decantating the qualities and characteristics. save then justifying itself by saying that some customers ask for particular wines which then change because they do not like it! inadmissible for a star! Not to mention the maize that forgets for its own admission) to customize the dessert as requested by me twice in the reservation) on the occasion of the special occasion that had brought my wife and me to the little prince! Finally a word on the chef. at the end of the dinner hours with almost no one in the room, we asked to be able to greet and thank Mr. Mancino. They told us he was too busy and couldn't come. It is the first time I happen that the chef has not come to make a round of the tables at the end of the evening and I talk about people like beck, canavacciuolo , bartolini, aprea, lamantia, guide to quote only some Italians. but surely jeseppe mancino is more occupied than them! Finally the price. It would have been justified for a true star, but certainly excessive for the small proncipe, stars named, but not in fact!"
