"Managed to get a table for on spec, but would advise booking as Le Petit is very popular. The restaurant is open and airy, with a mixed range of painting styles adorning the walls. Service was a little haphazard, Monsieur seemed a little stressed...but very friendly, as were his waitresses. We ate a la carte, and had starters of Salade Berger and Salade Terroir, followed by steak beurre maison and steak with Morrelles and vin jaune. All were cooked well and tasty. I had a dessert of glacé cerise with chantilly which was delightful. Luckily we had come for a leisurely lunch as service was pretty slow, even by French lunchtime standards, but this didn't detract from what was a very pleasant meal.
