"I dont know if theres new owners or change of ingredients but we have been having our takeaway curries from here for a couple of years. Never any complaints. Today it was awful! The sauce of the korma was nealy white, the chicken tikka masala was bland, no taste at all. The sauce wasnt as runny and creamy it was more thick and gloopy, and the chicken seemed cheaper and chewy. So dissapointed. We also ordered banana fritters and the batter used to be lovely light and crispy, this was heavy thick and not like a batter at all. Come on guys whats up ? Not like your normal standard at all. We actually feel sickly."

"Haven’t been in for a while as last visit was not exactly welcoming. Previous visits have been great but just the one occasion of poor service has kept us away. All changed on our recent visit when the welcome couldn't have been better. Cheerful service. We were given our favourite window seat by the fire. Great Sunday lunch, all served perfectly. "Called in at 'The Silent Woman ' mid afternoon hoping to get something to eat. There was a wide variety of dishes so my husband opted for beer battered fish and chips, and I had chicken schnitzel, wedges and salad. Both meals were delicious. Unfortunately, we were both so full afterwards we didn 't have room for dessert . Nevermind, there most definitely will be a next time. Before I forget, I must say that our waitress was lovely. She was attentive, polite and appeared to enjoy her job. She is a credit to the business. "We went as a family here, staff were fine- not especially warm but fine. Fish and chips was fine- very large portions which personally we found a bit silly as so much food ends up wasted. Chips were nice. There was only one vegetarian option and it was a halloumi/avo burger. It was a burger bun with some fried halloumi, mashed up avo and a few lettuce leaves. Nothing else in the bun. It was pretty tasteless and can say it was the worst vegetarian burger I’ve had in years. Sort your burger game guys! Vege burgers can be so tasty and full of good stuff, even a simple tomato would have jazzed this boring thing up a bit. Couldn’t even be bothered to finish my food (which is unusual for me! . These days I expect much more re vegetarian options, wouldn’t go back here tbh. Vegetarian options: Very poor"

"Beautiful venue let down by the staff due to their utter lack of hospitality training. Unless you fit a very narrow criteria of cliental you will be treated with disdain. If you take your concerns direct to them they will ignore you, because that's how classy they really are underneath all the pomp and ceremony. Rooms: 5 Service: 1 Location: 5"

"Typical seaside cafe bistro offering a good variety of vegan options located in the heart of the main tourist attraction. Food is not high end gourmet but highly appreciated at the end of your hike along the coastline. We paid £24 for 2 x fishless fingers baps (that came with crisps and salad), 1 x bowl of chips, 1 x mushy peas, 1 x curry sauce, 2 x 500ml cold drinks."

"Cannot fault this place. We are newly local and thought we would try it out. Wow! Everything cooked fresh from scratch. Delicious food, mouth watering. Chef is a sweet lady very friendly and comes out of the kitchen to make sure everything was to our liking. Its definitely going to become a regular. We were surprised at the price too, we had 3 courses and couldnt believe how reasonable the bill was. Vegetarian options: So many options if you are vegetarian or vegan amazing choices"

"Big and tasty sausage rolls missing some of the pastry. Chocolate and banana cake had good texture and flavour but oversweet. Marble coffee cake left a very sweet vanilla taste in the mouth not enough coffee taste for my liking and sugary sweet. Coffee is fine its illy coffee a large is regular.
