"Beautiful Middle Eastern food unusual and nothing else like this in Leamington Spa. So nice to try something different and everything delicious. Knowledgeable and friendly waitress. Great Covid social distancing measures in place, although it makes the dining room feel a bit cavernous so perhaps some screens barriers plants would make it feel cosier, particularly on a chilly evening. And perhaps a bit of quiet soft background music, although it was lovely to be somewhere in Leamington for a meal where you didn't have to shout across the table to your dining companion to be heard! All diners there on the evening we went were chatty but quiet and respectful of everyone else."

"I dinned here yesterday with my husband and daughter, we had the table by the open street which was perfect to “watch the world go by” on such a beautiful sunny day. I must say the food was spectacular, in fact I had the best soup I’ve ever tasted. My daughter had the “lunch box” which was excellent value for money and my husband had the fish. Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. So, an all round wonderful experience and one which we will be reliving very soon. Thanks for a lovely afternoon."

"Had a meal at Aqua after spending the day nearby at Warwick Castle. So glad we found this gem of a restaurant. We had a very warm and welcoming greeting (sorry didn't take name) who was friendly, efficient with a smile throughout our meal. Food was perfect. We shared the houmous platter for starters with gorgeous Lebanese flat bread and I had the lamb shank for main which fell off the bone and came with a lovely rice dish mixed with lamb mince and lovely salad. Portion sizes are plentiful and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our meal. We would return without hesitation but shame we are not local!"

"A true gem: the best café in Warwick! The location with both inside and outside seating beside the market square is definitely in favour of the café. There is always a high quality selection of savoury, sweet and drinks. The coffee is well made, the smoothies are refreshing, the savoury options are delicious and the pastries are incredible. You must try the kouign-amann, for it is the best pastry found in Warwick and one of the best pastries I have ever eaten! It will definitely not disappoint."

"The Joseph Arch is a pub in Barford with one side a bar and the other a curry house. We have been here a few times and have found it an excellent alternative to the standard curry houses found in the local main towns. The menu has a good choice of standard fare and their own in-house specialities. It is not as extensive as some menus, but all the better for that. The taste and flavours are really enticing and appealing with portions of a good rather than excessive size. The service can be a little erratic, but this is typical for India and Indians. Overall we would thoroughly recommend. It does take aways and is very busy on Fridays and Saturdays but you can get a table most other times."

"we are regularly at robbies, especially like the wine tasting night, that was a pudding night. there were two appetizers, main course and 5 puddings! plus a bottle of house wine for two all for £32.50 not only was it favorable, the wine was good and the food quality excellent. there were too much food and they allowed diners to take the chocolate pudding with the dressed to house! the place was not full, but there was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent as always. this is a restaurant that has a domestic feeling about it and they are treated like family and eating is always really good it is a jewel."

"Was looking forward to trying here as had previously had uber eats and was really pleased, Unfortunately it was a bit basic, took mum who's 82 and really didn't suit her, can of wine offered to be served in a stainless steel cup may be trendy, but really not ideal for her The burger was a bit dry and not particularly tasty, fries were good. Service was bright and cheerful, the young lady that served us was very helpful, so top marks there. Definitely a young person place, music was quite loud, definitely and a step up from Macdonalds."

"This is a great Southern Indian style restaurant. We 've been to their sister restaurant in Nottingham and always enjoyed it, but maybe because of the layout, it 's not as good an atmosphere as the Leamington one. We had the beef that Dad eats with his drinks, which was absolutely superb, and I would order that again, no problem. The blonde (on food critic reference for those that remember! ordered the special prawn starter. A dry, but full of flavour starter. Perfect to get going. We then had a fish curry (tilapia, a white fish which was tasty and a prawn curry which had a coconut flavour which was pur favourite. But, both were good. We wouldn 't normally order fish in a standard Indian restaurant as it 's often frozen and just not enough fish orders to be confident in the freshness and quality. Not at Kayal, where fish is a large part of the menu and well worth trying. Our only issue is we didn 't have space to order 'from the garden ' or some other meat dishes that all sounded great. Next time. Because there will be another visit soon. Service was great with a very friendly waitress who knew her stuff, was quick on the order, and helpful. And engaging with a smile. If only more could be like that! Even the manager came over to see how we were and gave us a bit of a background on the restaurant. We sat downstairs in the corner and the table was fine and the room downstairs a more relaxed atmosphere, which actually suited us. Perhaps being tucked away meant it was a little harder to ask for something from the staff, but it was no bother to stand up and walk 5 metres around the corner and ask for something. The only MINOR gripe was that the downstairs area is also where the delivery drivers wait, so behind our table was two drivers in riding gear and bags, just hanging around. Didn 't do too much for the atmosphere when one left their motorbike running outside the door (which was open because it was warm . As I say, a minor gripe that didn 't detract from what was a great meal. I get that delivery is an important income, so perhaps just worth thinking about options for them to wait."

"We have been happy regulars for years but sadly had an unusually bad experience. No mint sauce was a bad start to the lunch to then finding parts of the meat unedible/rotten, resulting in them having to be spat in an undignified fashion in to a serviette, ruining the remainder of the lunch. We informed the manager on leaving who got confrontational, saying I 'd consumed 70% of the lunch as opposed to being concerned about serving rotten meat. This was of course 'in my opinion ' he stated. So, in his view only half the fee of of one lunch was due a refund. A simple apology and refund for the meal would have been acceptable and we would return but there was no excuse for his rudeness. Every pub can have a bad day with some issues. There was 5 of us with no other complaints, who had multiple drinks and generally happy with the meals. We also didn 't comment on the men 's toilets which had a drainage problem and smelled heavily of urine. Very sad as we 've had mainly good experiences. We won 't be returning."

"Beautiful meal and great service! This place is under new management and it clearly shows. The tired old atmosphere and lacklustre service has gone and there is a really refreshing feel to the place which is now led by a very charismatic manager and his team who made us feel very welcome from the minute we walked in. Lottie, who served us was lovely, and the new chef Luke is superb. The steak Diane he made was one of the best I have ever tasted and I eat out in restaurants a lot very skilful cooking, full of fresh flavours and he got the temperature and texture of everything just right definitely a young chef to watch a lot of talent there."

"Lovely cafe though long wait for food. The kids love the Little Farmers breakfast with scrambled eggs though my coffee wasn’t great. Would be lovely if they had more vegetable dishes (a ratatouille or veg casserole with fresh local produce would be wonderful). Also, they sell a product called ‘sh!t happens’ alongside the kids items which isn’t the smartest product placement"

"We arrived in Leamington Spa for an afternoon visit and saw this place while looking for a parking space. My Yunnanese companion couldn’t wait to try it! The fried spring rolls were the best I’ve had anywhere; fresh, hot and delicious! We both had rice noodle soup obviously, if you know Yunnanese cuisine one seafood and one beef. Both excellent! Mine had plenty of seafood and her beef was tender and succulent. Apparently not as good as you’ll find in Yunnan but she still said it was very good, which is praise, indeed, from her. With two teas, the total came to £26.40, which was exceptional value. And the service was friendly and very quick. The place is Spartan but very clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended."

"A lovely little cafe/tea rooms with some of the most delicious cakes you could wish for. The Victoria sponge is one of the best I've eaten and has what Victoria Sponge should have; fresh cream aswell as jam and a light sponge. The staff are very polite and friendly and we have visited on four occasions now and never had a single issue. Coffee is very good and although the cafe is rather small its nicely decorated and we have always found a table without waiting."

"This is my favourite local pub in Leamington. Best value for money eat and drink in Leamington Spa, and the most friendly hosts! I love the outside area. Good to park in the sun if the weather holds. The menu changes regularly and has a good balance of old favourites, standard pub grub and something different. The quality is good, and portions generous, especially the lamb chops and lamb shank. Amazing gravy. The bar has ‘visiting ales’. Always interesting."

"I love this restaurant, the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. You get a warm greeting and seated promptly and they have deals on the menu drinks on a Monday. Obviously with Covid they have made changes but they've got everything right and they don't stop giving great service just because they are cleaning and making sure their guests are safe. The delivery service is excellent and they are not stingy with meat in the curry. A lot of places you end up with lots of sauce and just a few chunks but here you get a really decent portion of food and I highly recommend the butter chicken or the tandoori chicken masala. Or if you are dining in the Tandoori Meat Thali gives you the best of everything. Dont forget to try the House special Pickle it's really good. I advise to book as they can get very busy especially if it's an occasion or on the weekend. Let them know if it's a birthday/special day as they will make even more of an effort. Overall this is a lovely restaurant with really friendly and efficient service and fantastic food both in the restaurant and for take away."

"Lovely French bistro in Leamington Spa, a great find and perfect for lunch. The food was fantastic as was the service and friendliness of of the host. I was taking my mum out for dinner as as my dad was a French teacher and lover of France this seemed like the perfect place. I had the duck croquettes to start and mum had the souffle both perfect followed by Lamb for me and Cod for mum everything cooked to perfection and served with a friendly personal touch. The place is authnticaly french while serving local produce and local drinks as well as good french wine (obvioulsy). There is a lot of art on the walls all from local artists and some for sale as well. My only critisism would be for an evening meal after a long day at work the lighting was a bit too harsh for me two big chandeliers overhead I felt took away some of the ambiance and atmoshere this place would have in abundance if they used a few lamps or wall lights more candles and dimmed the overhead lights down. I will definitly come back for a day time meal though as I need to eat some duck croquettes again soon!"

"I have to say this place is an absolute gem! We first came here for breakfast with our two boys after we found the old alfonzos place closed! What a find, the breakfast was so clean and well presented, the flavour was amazing, well seasoned, scattered with herbs, the mushrooms tasted amazing, most places I find mushrooms never taste good. The guys who served us and cooked was such a friendly bloke. Interacted with our kids and had a very welcoming smile. When I used the loo it was very clean, a touch I fine very important when visiting anywhere. The decor is brilliant and so good for a game of eye spy with the kids. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we went back today to try the lunch menu. Wow! We had the meat sharing platter and we had so much, and the flavours were delicious. We honestly can not understand how any bad reviews could be left here, the staff are so smily and pleasant, and the food outstanding based on both our two visits. Food we can afford and happy to pay for. We will certainly be coming back again soon."
