"Noch recht neuer Asia-Imbiss in Weinheim, der sich von den sonst üblichen Läden deutlich abhebt. Sehr sauberer, liebevoll gemachter Imbissladen mit äußerst leckerem Essen. Gerichte können teilweise selbst kombiniert werden, wie beispielsweise das knusprig gebratene Hühnchen mit verschiedenen Beilagen und Soßen (die Erdnusssoße ist äußerst lecker). Die Qualität der Zutaten (z.B. super-zartes Hähnchenbrustfilet) und der Zutaten ist sehr gut. Man kann im Imbisslokal sitzen oder den Lieferservice in Anspruch nehmen. Wir haben beides ausprobiert. Liefern klappt prima und schnell (rund 30min)."

"Lage: Vom Bahnhof braucht man mit dem Taxi weniger als 10 Minuten zum Hotel. Die Fahrt kostet rund 6 Euro. Vorsicht, die Taxifahrer in Weinheim fahren gerne mal einen Extraschlenker.Das Hotel ist auf dem Marktplatz in einer Fußgängerzone, wo das Taxi nicht hinfahren darf. Man muss daher zwanzig Meter laufen. Auf dem sehr einladend aussehenden Marktplatz sind einige nette Cafes, die zum Draußensitzen einladen. Der Nachteingang ist in der Parallelstraße zum Marktplatz auf der Rückseite des Hotels und leicht zu finden.Freundlichkeit: Beim Einchecken am Abend war das Personal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen. Beim Auschecken am Morgen wirkten deren Kollegen recht konfus und die Rezeptionistin zoffte sich am Telefon mit der Taxifahrerin.Zimmer: Mein Zimmer hatte eine Reihe von Mängeln. Keine Plastikbeutel in den Mülleimern.Der Klodeckel blieb gar nicht stehen und fiel stattdessen immer um, weil Spülkasten zu weit vorne gebaut. In der Dusche hatte der Schlauch einen riesen Knick, denn ich immer wieder lösen musste, damit Wasser kam. Der Halter für den Duschkopf hielt nicht. Die Fließen haben auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Entweder hat das Bad eine Weile keiner mehr geprüft oder es ist denen egal. Die Mattratze war auch nicht mein Ding, aber das ist Ansichtssache. Meim Zimmer könnte durchaus eine Überholung vertragen.Frühstück: Es gab alles, was man von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten. Qualität stimmte auch. Großes Plus ist, dass man draußen auf dem Marktplatz sitzen und frühstücken kann. Allerdings hat es - obwohl außer mir kein anderer Gast beim Frühstück war - ewig gedauert, bis der Kaffee kam.Preis/Leistung: Der von €79,00 für das Einzelzimmer steht nicht in einem vernünftigen Verhältnis zu dem, was man bekommt (insbesondere mit Blick auf Dusche und Klo). Würde ich nicht zwingend weiterempfehlen."

Well, I'd see it as a mega secret for Weinheim that you don't look at the super-quali restaurant from outside! "On December 6th, 2015 I had dinner at the Adler in the old post office as part of a birthday party. Right at the beginning there was homemade goose fat with white bread, the lard was very tasty. The amuse-gueule consisted of a fish pie with some salmon and a cream, which was also not a given, which made it all the more enjoyable. As a starter I had a Riesling soup with salmon, then as a main course I had fried goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings and as dessert a variation of semolina dumplings with nougat and walnut ice cream. I have to say that I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The starter was very tasty and the goose leg was super crispy and tender at the same time. Sauce and dumplings were also very tasty. The dessert was a successful composition and also a delight for the palate. It's often the little things that make the difference. For example, I'm happy when the espresso cup is preheated and there's a nice crema on the espresso or when you can choose from three sugars, what more could your heart want. The service was very natural and friendly. I would love to come back, definitely one of the best addresses in Weinheim."

"That's the real deal. We wanted to get away from Heidelberg and the tourist trap restaurants and were thrilled. My wife and I were the only two English-speaking people in a very crowded place and I loved it. The food was excellent and... proportions were great. Small but very cozy atmosphere and friendly enough service. Seems to be family business and popular with locals. The only reason I had there was 4 out of 5 review is because the apple strudel seemed to be microwave from a frozen prefabricated piece, similar to something you can buy in the frozen part of a food. Everything else was great, but and good value for money."

"Ich wurde in dieses Lokal eingeladen. Vorab lobte meine Freundin dieses extrem gute Lokal....Ich war also super gespannt...Da ich ansonsten keine Infos hatte, war ich überrascht von der sehr überschaubaren Speisekarte auf einer Tafel und den Preisen. Der Kellner oder Besitzer war recht schnell mit der Aufnahme der Bestellung fertig, mir ein bisschen zu rasch, denn ich brauchte einen Moment, um deren Angebot zu verstehen...Es gab vorab sehr gutes, selbstgebackenes Brot mit leckerem "Eingelegtem", dann als Vorspeise Erbsensuppe :-( oder ein kleiner Salat, zudem Ochsenbrust (gegart) mit 3 winzigen Pellkartoffeln und einer "Frankfurter Sauce" oder Lachsforelle mit Fenchel/Erbsen. Nachtisch Erdbeeren mit weißer Schoki oder Rohmilchkäse. Da Erbsen für mich ein Graus sind und ich ehrlich gesagt ein wenig frustriert über dieses Angebot war, wählte ich den Salat, der leider fast nur aus Blättersalat & Sonnenblumenkernen bestand. Er schmeckte normal gut. Leider mag ich auch keine Forelle, also wählte ich gegarte Ochsenbrust aus, was ich eigentlich nicht freiwillig wählen würde,....aber es gab nichts anderes.Ich muss zugeben, dass ich das Essen langweilig fand und die Kombination mit der Frankfurter Sauce unpassend. Der Eigengeschmack der Sauce war auch nicht ganz mein Ding, also ließ ich viel davon übrig...Der sehr gute Rohmilchkäse wurde in Stückchen recht einfach, fast lieblos drapiert. Die Rechnung ging an meine Freundin und umfasste gesalzene ca. 85,- €....Das tat mir richtig leid, denn sie wollte mir etwas Gutes tun und das ging (für mich jeden Fall )daneben. Meine Freundin lobte das gesamte Essen, samt Ambiente. Vielleicht hatte mit dieser Speisekarte einfach Pech, aber für dieses Mahl sind 85€ viiiieeellll zu viel. Es tut mir leid, aber ich denke, dass man das besser machen könnte."

"Ein Lokal der besonderen Art - man liebt es oder nicht .. Bei fast Original Ital. Ambiente und Flair gibt ein vorzügliches Essen wie in Italien zu Preisen, die für die top Qualität mehr als ok sind. Die Weine sind ok.. Der Service sehr freundlich, manchmal aufgrund des Ansturms etwas überfordert, aber die Gerichte entschädigen alles. Ein Lokal wo die Köche mit Herz und Liebe beim kochen sind."

At Amara I have ordered more often, as you not only get tasty pizza in different sizes, but also burgers,pommes, kebap spies, lahmacun, filled pide bread, chicken dishes, salads, soups, desserts, falafel..... Order the large pizza Ruccola 30 cm with different extra lining costs approx. 0.50 Euro this time with mushrooms, onion,Knobi,Gorgonzola, tuna,Mozarella and egg came warm and tasted as always good. The Amara's bread comes from its own production and is crispy and yet fluffy. If you order more than 20 euros, there is always a soft drink free of charge. Wednesday e.g. Kebaptag , Friday Pizzatag ; every large pizza only 5,90 Euro for self-pickers."

"I am quite surprised by the wide range of reviews. as we live near this place, we come here quite often, sometimes we do family events like birthday dinner here. they have a large selection of foods outside the normal menu, it is all. written on chalkboards, hanging on the wall. Above they always have fresh products of the day they will offer as special dishes. it is difficult to find a place that meets their food needs more. they prepare a request and the chef looks forward to the possibilities. Sometimes they will be surprised with free little or free dessert, even if they can not count on it. the food quality is usually very good, and we had only one occasion where we were not happy and that was just ok. we gave them the feedback and they reacted immediately. I assume that others there apparently had bad experiences, but say that there was onyl a choice of hitting fish are totally bs. every day of the week there are dozens of dishes on the menu. the prices are in the middle when they are looking for a simple pizz or spaghetti for 7 eur, this is not their place. her wine card on the other side is very cheap and they get a really good bottle of wine for 20-30 dollars."
