"This restaurant in our neighborhood is fantastic. They have a wide selection of well-kept beers and the food is absolutely delicious. While some may feel the menu is limited, I personally believe that less is more when it comes to quality (the motto "less is more" definitely holds true here). The dishes are consistently high quality and they offer daily specials to keep things interesting."

"This was our first-ever visit to this restaurant following a recommendation by a family member. We booked using the phone number on the website, and our table was ready when we arrived. This restaurant is not licensed to serve alcohol, which was not obvious from the website. You are welcome to 'bring your own ' but as we were unaware of this, it was rather unsettling to find out. The second thing that I found unsettling when we arrived was one of the chefs wearing a chef 's coat that was clearly from another establishment, prominently visible as we walked in. Not the best first impression, I have to say. This restaurant offers an extensive menu but some of the fruit drinks were 'unavailable ' during our visit due to a machine breakdown. However, the 'strawberry juice ' smoothie which I had ranks as one of the best fruit drinks I have ever had, anywhere, and that alone made the visit here worthwhile. The lentil soup I chose was nicely textured but had a little too much spice in it for my taste, and came with some small flatbread pieces. The main dishes we chose were nicely presented and very generous portions, although they both came with a large helping of raw onions which, had I known, I would have asked to be omitted as I have an intolerance of them. Following our main meals we would have had some hot drinks but as the restaurant was by now quite full, noisy and the staff were clearly starting to be 'stretched ', we chose to forego that pleasure and had a drink when we got home. The choice of desserts here is small but they looked good, so perhaps we will have some room left to sample them on a future visit?"

"My name is Paul and I work for Surrey times and write review 's for 'best pubs in Surrey '. I have been in a couple of times as a lunch guest and an evening drinker over the past two weeks and have to say I 'm very...impressed with the restrictions in place and the staff maintaining and handling situations in this difficult time. The 'bangers and mash ' idea is a fantasic touch and was really enjoyable with great service also. Evening times I can understand it can be difficult when young adults like to disobey restrictions but staff seemed to handle it pretty well. I appreciate also by the look of things it 's an old building and over the years it 's had some work done. Outside front of pub looks amazing and welcoming however inside could do with a tidy up. I also managed to witness the back garden, very good idea with the telly outside in the tent to reduce customers away from inside the pub however noticed cigarette butts and random rubbish inside the tent even though a 'no smoking ' sign is inside. Be sides all that, I will be recommending this pub to friends and foe. Keep up the good work. Paul"

"Food tastes great but really overpriced, £6 for chips!!!!! plus another 3£ delivery all up for supporting local business but this is really going to far. Ordered a small Kebab and it was small much better outlets out there would advise to shop around so small kebab and chips plus delivery over £20 is wrong"

"This restaurant is beautiful and cozy, with a funny and friendly waiter and unique cuisine. I usually don't give 5-star ratings, but this place definitely deserves it. We came in hungry, but left pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. I will definitely be returning here as a regular customer."

"First and last visit. I took my family for a celebration meal last night. The food was not even as good as average, the chicken tika was more plane char grilled chicken that was pale in colour, none of the food was piping hot, more warm, the only thing with a half decent flavour was a vegetable korma, iv been to dozens of Indian restaurants and never been charged for the dips that go with the poppadoms. I made a comment about the tika and they offered to replace it but my daughter declined as we were all eating together, most of it was left on the dish yet I was still charged 12:99 for 3 pieces of awful chicken, had my daughter asked me not to I'd have refused to pay for it and deducted the automatic service charge that really wasn't justified. so, even with no alcohol at the table I was still stung nearly £170 for four adultsand onechild. Very over priced, not good service and bellow average food. Unfortunately I won't be returning."

"Ordered a chicken passanda and it was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, like eating sand it was so salty. Called them up to take it back and apparently there was a bit up with the salt in the kitchen. They gave us a korma instead but when asking for a partial refund back they just gave me 2 free popadoms and a sorry. We have just spent £50 there for a takeaway for 3 people and a partial refund I think is what is more than deserved. we are local too and have been a few times but most definitely this time was our last. For the sake of other people reading this review please do not go to the restaurant and go elsewhere."

"This Indian and Nepalese restaurant located in the heart of Woking is fantastic. The interior is beautifully decorated and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They offer a wide variety of Indian and Nepalese dishes, but I was especially impressed by their lamb biryani. They also offer takeout options. Definitely worth a visit."

"We came into Woking to go to our favourite Lebanese place unfortunately they were closed .. So we found this as an alternative , Food wise I enjoyed the fresh falafel and my partner raved about their tabbouleh . I was a little disappointed by the bread it had clearly been reheated as it had that slightly damp nature that reheated bread does My main was excellent the chicken was tender and the portions were ample , The service was prompt and friendly and despite it being a wet Tuesday night they had sat the diners close enough so there was still some atmosphere. This place is BYOB and we didn't know prior to walking in so my dreams of a cheeky midweek pint with my falafel were dashed an advantage for many but one to know if you're going."

"What a little gem of Ripley it is! We went for an afternoon walk today and fancied a little stop on the way back. And what a treat this pub was We only had a drink each and a few nibbles but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Food was good quality and presented well. Homemade humus was yummy and polenta chips were a perfect combination of soft and crunchy! Phoebe and James looked after us and made us feel very welcome, including Ted, our dog, who got some water, a treat and, of course, attention Thank you, guys! We'll definitely be back!"

"Every time I go to Woking, I make sure to dine at Jaipur. The service is excellent and the staff is always attentive to your needs and questions. The restaurant can get noisy when it's busy, but the food is delicious and truly gives you a taste of India. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40-50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"I dined with a friend yesterday (for the first time in the Wisley restaurant) I ordered the fish and chips as a main and she ordered the sausages and mash as a main ... I had to ask for new chips as they were cut so thick that they weren't cooked the replacement portion were the same ... and my friend's sausages needed to be pan fried to colour them they looked pale and unappealing. The waitresses were lovely and efficient and friendly and the restaurant itself is beautifully furnished by the chefs need to make sure the food goes out perfectly."

"We visited on a busy Sunday with our walking group, coinciding with Remembrance Day, which made it even busier due to attendees from the service at Brookmans Cemetery. The staff were exceptional, providing attentive service and keeping things running smoothly despite the crowd. I ordered the Sunday roast trio, which was fantastic, featuring beef, pork, and chicken, accompanied by perfectly roasted potatoes and a medley of green vegetables. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice level of liveliness that added to the experience. There was a steady stream of customers coming in, and each one was greeted at the entrance and escorted to their table. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning as soon as possible. Thank you to the team!"

"We stayed last night and had a beautiful room clean warm and very spacious with great parking . However we went into the resturant which was full. There was a very full table of 10 or more to our left . They still hadn't had their full courses and were still waiting after 2 hours . We were waiting for a cookie to arrive with our hot drink but no one knew they were out of stock except for the off duty cook Ellie who came to rescue with chocolate brownie and saved the day . Glasses everywhere over the bar it appeared true kaos. Dishes everywhere also No direction organising waiting staff , even though they were rushed off their feet no one appeared to be in charge . Waiting staff doing their best I went to the loo on my way out only to hear more complaints of people waiting an hour for food only to be told they had run out of pies. I would highly recommend accommodation and breakfast made by Ellie but would avoid eating here of an evening atm . Please Managers sort it out!! "Terrible dishonest. They sent us an incorrect order and after waiting over 2 hours for the correct order which never arrived they offered us a replacement meal for another date. We were strung along for 2 hours being told the correct order is on the way. It wasn 't. never arrived as it was never cooked. We paid in full for food which we didn 't receive. We received someone else 's order which was half the amount of our order and not eveb items we actually choose or enjoy. I called back to order the replacement meal which sadly never materialised. They denied knowledge of it and made an excuse of there was a change in management. At the time they told me they wrote it in their diary and it would be honoured so I shouldn 't worry.. Whilst I was on the phone to them they assumed they had muted me and decided to speak in their language which I understood They were quite offensive derogatory. just get rid of her we have other customers calling with orders and tell her there is a change of management. Offer her 20% off her next order over £50 if she doesn 't accept it Just hang up When I enlightened them I heard every word repeated it back to them they hung up.. Disgraceful."

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable midweek evening meal at this restaurant. We received excellent service from the moment we arrived until we left. The clean plates at the end of our meal indicated that we truly enjoyed our menu choices of Cod and Sea Bass, followed by a mini dessert and a hot drink. We were the last customers to leave the restaurant."

"Went for a bite to eat and drinks. Cocktails 2 for 1! Vibrant atmosphere music playing, Xmas decorations and lighting up making it really festive and cosy. We liked thisfriendly staff food served quickly. Ordered chicken burger and fries and Thai curry with chicken as a topper, will say although very tasty the grilled chicken piece would have presented better on the plate if it was cut into strips and served on the plate, rather than added as a big piece for one to try and cut through! Just an observation but still tasty! The halluomi fries and calamari was also tasty. Would go again thanks."

"We recently got married at the Talbot and had the most amazing day. From initially meeting Krystyna we knew we would be looked after, her professionalism, organisational skill and attention to detail made us feel really at ease throughout the planning. The venue itself is beautiful and they recommended some fantastic suppliers for decorating, flowers and DJ. We had a number of family travelling to our wedding and Krystyna kindly organised us to have a rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. Throughout our stay all of the staff were really attentive and could not have done more. The food was really good too! Thank you for helping make our day so special, we would highly recommend!"
