"The pub is tucked away behind a private road with ample parking behind and in front of green, the amenities are clean and comfortable with diners high chairs and tables as well and the traditional seating and tables. It offers seating outside in the garden area as the front of house some with cover, although the front seating can experience gush of wind as it’s mainly in shade most of day, great place for family and the Sunday carvery is an absolute gem the roasties are best I’ve eaten the selection of vegetables are very good especially the parsnips and roasted veg, the plates are good size please feel free to pile on what you want even Yorkshire puds. The meat selection looks amazing but tastes rather bland and the only reason why I don’t offer 5 stars is the price and the waiting around as it is best to book ahead for the carvery as demand high, why prices keep going up but value and quality remains same, friendly staff and it is an enjoyable experience."

"I dined here just once on Saturday night and I highly recommend it! The food was delicious and the value was fantastic. The baked camembert was perfect for sharing, and I'm glad we did because the main course portions were quite large! We all ordered the sausage with mash, which was great, as well as nuggets and chips for the kids (the chef adjusted the portion sizes for us). I also tried their 8oz burger, which I enjoyed immensely. The staff was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Visited with my partner a couple of weeks ago and selected the steak and wine offer for two. I eat out quite a lot when I have the opportunity and enjoy pub food. I have to say, my steak (well done) was probably the best I have ever had! Great food, great service, great value. Thank you ! It was excellent!"

"Amazing food, until I got food poisoning. The food from Sokury was always very tasty and had a wide selection and variety. However, my partner and I decided to both get prawn katsu curries from here. The prawns for mine were all taken from the till, whilst the majority of my partners were taken from the kitchen. Later that evening, my partner complained of stomach pains, however felt better soon after. I, at first, felt fine. However I then spent the majority of that night and the following 2 days vomiting and bedbound. It was such a shame as we have purchased takeaways from Sokury in the past and they were always very good. However we won't be ordering from here again becuase of this experience."

"I decided to try a new restaurant based on the positive reviews and ordered their Lamb Sikander with Tarka Dall and a Garlic Naan. To my surprise, they included a free papadom and onion salad. The lamb was tender and the okra was perfectly cooked in a delicious tomato sauce with fresh ginger. The Garlic Naan was flavorful with fresh garlic. The food arrived sooner than expected. I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I am in the area."

"Absolutely superb food and service! Visited on Father's Day without a booking and was able to get a table. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered fishcakes to start which was delicious and came with a spicy mayo. For mains my husband had the lamb roast and I chose the double cooked pork with crackling. We were very happy with both meals, they tasted great and looked great. We were stuffed at the end of the meal. We will definitely be coming here again as our local. Thank you to the staff who made us feel welcome"

"Shame. Food here used to be great, really disappointed with 2 roasts. Chicken dry, really basic stuff, inedible. Returned it and lots of ??? around refund. I simply said charge gif veg, toast potatoes aren’t touched as not nice. My beef was cooked really well, lovely but didn’t enjoy any of the veg. Ordered mash as a side due to 2 small roast potatoes, arrived after we’d finished and was unrecognisable as mash and all little bubbles on the top. Shame Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"I love this place almost as much as my boyfriend does! The staff are wonderful and very polite, the atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious! You pay a set price of £16-18 (depending on the day of the week) and can order anything off the menu. It's essentially a buffet customized to your preferences, and everything tastes fantastic! This is some of the best Chinese and Thai food I've had in the UK. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning again and again!"

"We were the only guests (4) in the whole restaurant on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. We had booked in advance for afternoon tea. Our dietary requirements had been acknowledged and the tea was reflective of this so this was good. There were 3 members of staff working at this time, however, every time we were running low on tea, milk, cream etc, we had to get up from our table and go to find a member of staff and ask them to replenish. They weren’t busy or very attentive. Two weeks from Christmas and the conservatory we were eating in had no festive feel to it, no background music and was cool in temperature. We noticed the adjoining dining room was laid ready for breakfast the next morning and had a lovely Christmas tree so it was a shame we couldn’t have been in there. The food itself was standard although a nod to the festive season was included with a mini mince pie."

"Despite storm Ciara outside, Zizi's in Woking provided an excellent and memorable birthday party for our eldest daughter. Aimen and his staff worked their magic to ensure all the children had a great time making pizzas. Aimen organized the children, got them dressed in hats and aprons, and guided them through the pizza making process. The parents were able to relax with a coffee while the children were entertained. The service was exceptional, with Aimen teaching the children how to make pizza dough and engaging them in a quiz. The children enjoyed their pizzas and cake, with Aimen ensuring everything ran smoothly. The whole experience was well-managed and the children were well taken care of. Aimen and his team were attentive to our needs and made sure everyone had a great time. Our daughter has already asked to have her party at Zizi's again next year. Thank you to Aimen and the team at Zizi's Woking for a wonderful experience."

"Having never been to Woking before this restaurant looked lovely as did the menu. When I arrived however it was not as I had imagined. It was like a 1960's diner rather than a steakhouse and although the menu had a great range of choice, when the food came up I was disappointed considering the cost. The drinks were also a poor quality. I ordered a fruity cocktail and was basically presented with tropical juice from a carton with added alcohol, which i couldn't taste due to the sweetness of the juice and the accompanying shot of prosecco was flat. The service was friendly but disjointed and we were initially offered 241 cocktails and then the offer was rescinded as it was a weekend. All in all not a great experience and not somewhere I would go back to."

"First and last visit. I took my family for a celebration meal last night. The food was not even as good as average, the chicken tika was more plane char grilled chicken that was pale in colour, none of the food was piping hot, more warm, the only thing with a half decent flavour was a vegetable korma, iv been to dozens of Indian restaurants and never been charged for the dips that go with the poppadoms. I made a comment about the tika and they offered to replace it but my daughter declined as we were all eating together, most of it was left on the dish yet I was still charged 12:99 for 3 pieces of awful chicken, had my daughter asked me not to I'd have refused to pay for it and deducted the automatic service charge that really wasn't justified. so, even with no alcohol at the table I was still stung nearly £170 for four adultsand onechild. Very over priced, not good service and bellow average food. Unfortunately I won't be returning."

"Ordered a chicken passanda and it was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, like eating sand it was so salty. Called them up to take it back and apparently there was a bit up with the salt in the kitchen. They gave us a korma instead but when asking for a partial refund back they just gave me 2 free popadoms and a sorry. We have just spent £50 there for a takeaway for 3 people and a partial refund I think is what is more than deserved. we are local too and have been a few times but most definitely this time was our last. For the sake of other people reading this review please do not go to the restaurant and go elsewhere."

"This Indian and Nepalese restaurant located in the heart of Woking is fantastic. The interior is beautifully decorated and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They offer a wide variety of Indian and Nepalese dishes, but I was especially impressed by their lamb biryani. They also offer takeout options. Definitely worth a visit."

"A quite nice place to dine. We stopped by for a late-night one-course meal, and both the food and service were quite impressive. They were still happy to serve us just before 10 PM, even though the restaurant was emptying out at that time. I would recommend the Sea Bass, which we both enjoyed. Each of us received two generous fillets without any bones—very nice! The portion sizes were satisfactory, and the prices were reasonable, especially for a central location. We also found the drinks to be fairly priced. The service was prompt and attentive, with friendly staff providing just the right level of care."

"The Sunday lunch was just okay, not great. The staff were good, but sitting in the pub side was quite cold since the fire wasn't lit. The food was okay, but nothing special. The beer was very good, and a clean pint is always nice. However, I think more attention should be paid to the environment, like lighting the fire or using radiators, and improving the quality of the food to make the perfect Sunday lunch."
