"Das Restaurant liegt ein bisschen abgelegen im Käferberg, aber mit dem Auto ist es sehr gut erreichbar. Die Lage finde ich sehr schön, da es im Wald ist und sie über einen grossen Gartensitzplatz verfügen. Auch Innen ist das Restaurant sehr gross und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Tessin Grotto bietet viele Tessiner Spezialitäten und diverse Fondue-Sorten an. Ich konnte mich fast nicht entscheiden, da sich alles sehr fein angehört hat. Am Schluss entschied ich mich als Vorspeise für ein Knoblauchbrot und für "Crostino di pere con Gorgonzola", dass war eine Maggiabrotscheibe eingetunkt im Grappa darauf gab es Birne und Rohschinken und das überbacken mit Gorgonzolakäse. Ich kann dies nur empfehlen, es war seeehr lecker!! Als Hauptspeise habe ich mich für Ossobuco (geschmorte Kalbshaxe) mit Bratensauce und Polenta entschieden. Auch das war einfach nur köstlich, ich kann es nicht anders beschreiben. Als Dessert entschied ich mich für Panna cotta. Die Bedienung wahr sehr freundlich und humorvoll, wirkliche liebe Angestellte. Sie nehmen es sehr mit Humor und sind zackig. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Ich werde sicher wieder gehen. Vermisst man ein wenig das Tessin, dann ist dieser Ort genau richtig."

"Am gestrigen Abend wurde ich von meinem Partner zu einem romantischen Abend eingeladen. Als wir im Marcellino eintrafen wurden wir herzlich vom Chef empfangen und genossen einen Aperitif auf Empfehlung. Mein Mann entschied sich für das Carpaccio, die Ravioli Brassato und die Tagesempfehlung Rindsmedaillon mit Parmesanrisotto. Ich hatte die Entenleberterrine, ebenfalls die Ravioli und im Hauptgang das Kalbskotelette mit supplement Fois Gras gebraten und dem optionalen Risotto vom Venere Reis. Die Qualität und Präsentation des Essens war ein innerliches Blumen Pflücken! Dazu genossen wir eine Flasche Le Volte aus dem Hause Ornellaia. In dem romantischen Ambiente mit dem kompetenten, charmanten und zuvorkommenden Service verbrachten wir einen hervorragenden und Genussvollen Abend. Der Grappa vielleicht war es auch der darauf folgende, rundete das romantische Dinner perfekt ab.Danke Marcellino, wir kommen wieder!"

"Good selection, fresh and the price-performance ratio is right. From now on, this shop is my destination for Asian groceries (among other things) in Zurich-Oerlikon and the surrounding area! Addendum: Something doesn't seem right in this store anymore. Fresh produce (vegetables and herbs) of very poor quality, if available at all. Empty shelves, almost everywhere. The bankrupt vulture seems to be circling here soon. I could be wrong, but there are many indications that I am."

"Oooooi... what can I say? First the good: nice place with great food! Everything around it, atmosphere, service: oiioi! Another couple arrived at the restaurant almost at the same time as us. Karsten (with a trendy mustache and his somewhat perfumed companion completely freaked out the innkeeper and his service colleague. The landlord and his colleague ran hectically through their restaurant, shouted orders for him (Karsten over our heads into the kitchen, and hardly found any time for the other guests. They were no longer able to calmly take our orders or politely answer simple questions about the origin of the meat. At the end the invoice was also incomplete (probably didn 't have time to write everything down . Obviously Karsten was an incredibly important person. It 's a shame that the staff loses their temper so much and creates a very unpleasant atmosphere. I would have liked to have been a welcome guest, but I felt more like a nuisance it certainly wasn 't a pleasant visit to a restaurant. P.S.: the snakeskin belt was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed by its task on the host 's hips. A pair of suspenders would probably have helped to save me the sight of the (sun tanned! bricklayer 's cleavage."

"Wenn man jetzt nicht frei reisen kann, ist man doch froh, wenn einem die kulinarische Welt nähergebracht wird. Beim Koch des Jahres 2020 kann man sich auf einen phantastischen Trip freuen. Jeder Gang versteht es, die geschmackliche Essenz des Gerichtes auf wunderbare Weise hervorzuheben und kommt dabei unaufdringlich, beinahe tänzerisch daher. Beispiele? Eine köstliche Thaivariation inklusive Suppe, dann wieder klassisch französisch inspirierte Gerichte oder eine phantastisches Trüffelgericht. Die Reise geht weiter an die portugiesische Küste dank einer einmaligen Languste. Darf eine Weihnachtsgans fehlen – sicher nicht. Auch die erfahrenste Köchin wäre von der Heilemann’schen Interpretation begeistert gewesen. Der Service verwöhnte uns von A bis Z und der Sommelier empfahl uns einen wunderbaren weissen Macononay und Pauillac in einem durchaus vernünftigen preislichen Ramen. So beschlossen wir einen denkwürdigen Abend in einer traumhaften Umgebung in der Altstadt. Dieses Restaurant wird noch viele Gäste begeistern."

"We had been expecting a very nice evening with friends and good food at the Waag but this time our evening was truly excellent! The sliced veal Zurich style was better than ever somehow the sauce was even more refined. Could this be thanks...to the new Chef de Cuisine? Also, the wine was an excellent choice. The Mousse au Chocolat was presented as an Easter Bunny and delicious. One guest with an egg allergy was very well taken care of, too. Congratulations to the new Restaurant Manager and his staff of friendly and efficient waiters!!!"

"In short, the service is unacceptable! Situation. I went to the restaurant and asked if there was a free table for 2. I was told no. I asked what about on the street? , because she saw free tables there. The waiter replied cold . I said that it suits us. They took me to the table, left 3 menus and left. After some time, having chosen food and drinks, I went inside, as if reminding myself of my existence. I was ignored by both waiters, although both saw me. After 5 minutes, she tried again, the same thing. She came over to ask what the matter was. The waiter directed me to another waiter who also ignored me, then said he would be fine. After 20 minutes of waiting and trying to attract attention, I said I was leaving when the waiter finally reached me. In response, I heard I was busy, have a nice evening. No apologies. This is the ultimate disrespect. This is absolutely unacceptable. Now I am unlikely to know about the taste of the dishes in your restaurant. And I will not recommend it to my friends or to anyone at all. The way you are greeted and served speaks volumes. It was very eloquent. Now I will be busy for your restaurant. Good evening."

"We were queuing outside at Metropol at around 4:40 p.m. on May 7th, 2023, as shown on the poster. We waited in vain for an employee to lead us to our seat. But several times a blonde lady who works there walked past us in an unfriendly manner, didn 't even greet us and made us wait for 10 minutes, then came past us again with a very arrogant look and changed the poster in front of us to we 're closing now !! I think if you work in a restaurant or with customers in general you should at least be friendly enough to greet your guests and politely tell us that unfortunately there are no more seats available and unfortunately they won 't let anyone in... (even though it 's open until 6 p.m. Training certainly wouldn 't be bad for the staff!! were there for the last time!"

"Good quality asian food at its best in Zurich. For the 26 CHF dinner buffet, you can indulge in savoury curries, spicy grilled chicken and their signature mouth watering momos (aka Tibetan dumplings with both meat and vegetarian options). It is not too oily or...salty and all our guests whom we have brought here have enjoyed it immensely. They are open for weekend dinners which is a plus and reservations are recommended since it can get quite packed sometimes. We are regulars now and always look forward to our next visit!"

"Per Zufall eingetreten und gleich sehr freundlich von der Bedienung begrüsst, wo dann der Hinweis auf ein griechisches Restaurant kam. Sehr gut eingerichtet und erfrischend mediterran, moderne Ambiente und entspricht auch den hier gestellten Bilder. Die Karte ist kurz gehalten, dafür äußerst einladend und exotisch. Gedacht war es für ein Kaffee, doch daraus wurde ein Mittagessen. Auf jeden Fall ein weiterer Besuch wert! Das Restaurant ist übrigens Barrierefrei."

"Today was our first day in Zurich and we decided to look for somewhere that had swiss cuisine and Google did not let us down. I had the Mushroom soup for starter and my partner had Pork belly, every single bite brought us so much happiness. For mains I had the Veal steak and my partner had the Sirloin, both were cooked to perfection!! We took the waiters Recommendation on wine which he selected a Swiss merlot which was a medium price but also paired very well with the meal. The only thing I wish I'd done differently was to remember the waiters name as he made the experience. He knew exactly what he was serving, what to recommend and from table to table his ability to switch between languages was amazing. To top it all off he gave us recommendations of sights to see will in switzerland. I cannot thank him enough. As I can't remember his name I hope that the gentleman from Lucerne area gets the recognition he deserves. Thank you again!!"

"Wonderful location, friendly staff, nice ambience. Unfortunately, eating is not a joy. We had the chnobli bread, the salad of the day, a tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and tarte flambée. The chnobli bread is simply not chnobli bread and tastes like meat. The buffalo mozzarella was rock hard and tasteless. The daily salt for a proud 14. was a light cut salad ! with a few cucumbers and cherry tomatoes in a mayonnaise like, thick sauce. The tarte flambée with chevre, pears and honey was good. The wasp infestation doesn't really make your stay any more enjoyable, but the cafe doesn't do much for it although you could use simple tricks ."

"First of all this restaurant is in the heart of Zurich, 2 minutes walk from the central station. For being pakistani myself, this is the best food I have ever tasted. Its variety of food, menu changes every day so you get to eat all kind of different food. From delicious vegetables and dhaal to meat and chicken curries. The price is very affordable too!! I was there for few days and must say this is the best place I have ever eaten. The place is very nice and clean, the owner is very nice and friendly, not to mention very helpful as well."

"Ich muss sagen ich ging mit gemischten Gefühlen ins S&L. Oft sind solche In- Lokale die von der Presse so gepushed werden und praktisch an jedem Weekend ausgebucht sind eher mit Vorsicht zu geniessen. Oft geht dies an der Qualität des Essens und des Service ab. Doch nicht hier. Wir sind 4 Karnivoren und kamen echt auf unsere Kosten. Der Service ist unkompliziert und sehr zuvorkommend und unserem Wunsch draussen zu sitzen wurde sofort Folge geleistet. Wir haben ein 1,2 kg US Rib genommen und es kam aufgeschnitten auf einer Platte. Habe selten besseres Fleisch gegessen, perfekt medium rare, Röstaromen, butterzartes Fett und ein perfekter Biss. Tolle Weinempfehlung vom Sommelier zu fairen Preisen. Die Beilagen sind echt der Hit. Pommes im Entenfett fritiert ein absoluter Traum, der Spinat natürlich belasssen mit viel Geschmack und die Bernaise Sauce ein highlight...dann noch feines Dessert gehabt, tolle Grappas und Gin getrunken und uns wurde noch der Espresso offeriert...was will man mehr?! Es hat einfach alles gepasst an diesem Abend. Die Leute im Service machen einfach einen super Job, was leider immer seltener wird in Zürich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Mach weiter so!!!"

"Mein Vater hat mir schon einige Jahre von diesem Restaurant vorgeschwärmt.... endlich haben wir es für einen Lunch nach Zürich ins Casa Ferlin geschafft. Er wusste ja, was uns erwartet, ich nicht ganz. Mir gefiel dieses etwas altertümliche, aber sehr stilvolle Ambiente sehr gut. Das ganze Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.Wir haben uns kurzum für das Menü entschieden und jeder einzelne Gang war einfach top. Dennoch haben die legendären hausgemachten Raviolis herausgestochen. Unglaublich wie dieser hauchdünne Teig und die geschmacksvolle Fleischfüllung harmoniert haben ein Gedicht! Es wurde uns auch sehr feiner und passender Wein dazu empfohlen. Wenn man allenfalls etwas bemängeln möchte, ist es die Grösse des Desserts. Dieses war zwar super fein, aber etwas grosszügig bemessen. Aber man findet bekanntlich immer ein Haar in der Suppe, wenn man danach sucht.Ich hoffe, irgendwann mal wieder dieses tolle Lokal besuchen zu können."
