"The Sunday roast beef which my husband asked for, and told the waiter he would like it very rare even raw rather than overlooked, when it arrived it was dry and curled up at the edges as if it had been kept warm for hours. The plate was quickly removed and another replaced it the meat was not pink but just not rare in any way. If it is not possible to cook the joint in a way to have it rare it should be written on the menu, so that you can make an alternate choice. The mushroom starter was very small. The lobster pot very nicely presented but not a lot of lobster flavour. The fried Brie excelent? We didn't eat until 2.30pm perhaps it's better to eat earlier."
