"I've driven past The Arkle on many occasions on the way to Dorking but never stopped until now and I'm glad we did. Bank Holidays are odd beasts where it it can be really busy during the day then absolutely dead in the evening and so it proved here. A quiet restaurant can lead to poor service as staff relax too much after a hard day but not so at The Arkle. We were well looked after and everything arrived promptly. The decor is halfway between up-market pub and restaurant with different areas that make it an interesting space to eat in. The menu is varied with something for everyone. It's not cheap but we felt that £33 a head for three courses with drinks was reasonable for what we had. We will definitely return."

Great place to eat. We had an issue with out OpenTable booking. Our booking was for 4 people but the Arkle Manor only had 2 down. Worth checking the booking directly with them.

Had a lovely evening and although there were several large parties in the restaurant we were not disturbed. The service was a little distracted but they were extremely friendly and eager to accomodate

After going here at the beginning of the week and all having a great meal we went back today to try the Sunday roasts and the three of us loved our choices again, the place is definitely going to become somewhere we'll go regularly to eat

big trio bar at a good price. disappointed that the pub had not our booking, although it was confirmed by opentable twice, there obviously happens a lot. would have been a catastrophe if they had not pressed us in when we had traveled an hour to get there. best to book directly with the pub itself.
