"I opted for the chicken Milanese, but the tomato sauce was dry, if there was any at all. The meal was overcooked and came out looking unappetizing, with a sprinkle of something brownish on top. There were no desserts offered, which felt like a strange oversight. My wife’s starter, camembert, was smaller than usual and poorly presented. This experience has made us hesitant to return to Arkle Manor, as we believe there are better dining options available."

I met an old school friend for lunch and we had a lovely meal. We were not rushed in any way and the waitress was so polite. We'll be going back for sure.

Great place to eat. We had an issue with out OpenTable booking. Our booking was for 4 people but the Arkle Manor only had 2 down. Worth checking the booking directly with them.

The OpenTable system doesn't integrate very well with some restaurant booking systems, which led to some issues with getting the table we wanted. However, the staff was helpful, and the food was enjoyable. View menu

big trio bar at a good price. disappointed that the pub had not our booking, although it was confirmed by opentable twice, there obviously happens a lot. would have been a catastrophe if they had not pressed us in when we had traveled an hour to get there. best to book directly with the pub itself.

Hadn't been to the Arkle in almost two years, having to host a get together in October with some old friends my wife and I decided to go to here to see if it's still as good as we remembered. We had a lovely evening, fantastic food, great service. Straight after our meal I booked a table for ten next month, can't wait to go back and start coming here more regularly again
