"Had a lovely relaxing Afternoon Tea here and wasn't disappointed. The Hengist is a modern but lovely old building and the staff were very attentive. The food was good I particularly liked the quiche that came with the sandwiches. The cakes were delicious too. I have one criticism, the scones were overcooked and therefore hard, however the waitress replaced them for us. I would definitely go back there."

"Food excellent, nice location. Waitress was very polite in the restaurant and we felt very welcome. We were also provided with a free glass of prosecco as it was our anniversary. One minor note was the sarcastic, patronising attitude of the bar man. Not impressed with him which was a small blight on an overall very pleasant evening. Not sure he's the best person to have front of house."
