"probably the best Michelin star restaurant I visited in the london bibendum. not that they are many that I have not visited more than half a dozen Michelin-star restaurants, and in that I am not very impressed. but the bibendum was different. around with the skeleton beginning april the michelin house (within is the restaurant) was in skeleton. not pretty, what? anyway, everything is in order. the waiter pay attention to every detail. we had a reservation and we selected the 3 course lunch menu. everything was simply amazing and very, very tasty from starter to dessert, all accompanied by a glass champagner. the top kernel is the car with the carvery, but it was not new for us, we have seen this concept in several michelin and not michelin star restaurants in emilia romagna in italy. the decor was also very nice, with all these Michelin pictures, glazed windows, etc. the place is not full and there are many waiters and chefs, so everything relatiw is quick far better than my 4 hours michelin start restaurant experience in valencia ..."

"Ignore the bad reviews below I highly suspect that an employee was laid off and viciously got a group of friends to write bad reviews; look at all the reviewers, they've only left <5 reviews in their life lol. This was a very solid and reliable dining experience. There are definitely lots of Hibiscus elements here (like that amuse bouche in the egg shell with curry powder) that Claude brought over from his previous restaurant. The sweetbread starter could have benefitted from being cooked less, while the dessert was a bit too sweet, but in general everything was well balanced and never felt heavy. Presentation obviously spot on. Ambience is great. Refurbishment is fantastic. Lots of natural light (provided you get good weather in London), airy, not stuffy. Music yes is a weird mix of old American country hits, but actually works quite well possibly with the whole tyre business thing. I would recommend!"

"Beautiful environment with Christmas decorations everywhere, but the service and the food was not perfect enough for a Michelin star. Our main course of Brill was boiled in the middle and my husband's mackerel starter was too small and not great. The soufflés with Armagnac and plum ice cream were huge and beautiful, although some caramelized pears with it would be even more beautiful. The wine list is also very expensive and they did not have the picpoul we had ordered. We were offered to another Italian wine, but it was not a game, so we ordered a more expensive South African Sauvignon Blanc instead. The free dessert wine, the canapés and candy were nice extras. Finally, the staff was very strenuous and not so well organized so that the service was not on scratches. This was not helped by the fact that the restaurant was full and there was also a large family group near us, babies and buggies!"

"We tried the early tasting menu (great value, book online beforehand). The food was beautifully presented and the portions were generous. They substituted all the meat dishes on the menu with vegetarian options, which were all incredibly delicious. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff, especially a charming French waiter. The atmosphere was lively and the outdoor seating was lovely. We would definitely return."

"Yeah, 3 stars due to service just not being nice. Very little attempt at friendly banter with a group of 8. Overselling on side dishes when it wasn’t needed. No interest in repouring expensive wine or asking if we wanted more bottles when we finished first ones before main course. Food was not bad. Vibe was not really existent- these guys are phoning everything in and it shows."

"The true taste of Italy. I was pleasantly surprised by this charming little Italian restaurant. It was cozy and incredibly delightful. The team, especially Catarina, was fantastic hosts. Chef Arturo was so friendly and made my dish taste just like home in Italy. The Capri family truly creates a Mediterranean atmosphere. I requested my dish to be made in the Calabrese way and they delivered perfectly. Never order carbonara with cream, it's a crime. I absolutely love this restaurant and I can see why regulars keep coming back. I am now a new fan and can't wait to visit again soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience. - Lady BBellie the Captain."

"the cocktail (benito, I think it was called) was fabulous! eating was very nice, I liked the ginger squid. I have rated it in the average, it takes into account the views of my hospitable who don't think much about the pad thai or the banans dessert. I would not recommend pudding, but otherwise a beautiful meal."

"The food was not to the standard we expected, we had to wait for over an hour and when it turned up 2 out of the 3 dishes was terrible with things missing as per menu. The service was terrible as we could tell that they were avoiding us and even when we called the waiters they took long to come! We had a 25% discount without asking and we chose not to pay for the voluntary service charge of 12.5% I would not be recommending this place"

"we had a wonderful experience in the restaurant. the chef was so courteous for my pregnant woman, wherever possible to offer alternatives. she actually noticed without telling us and came out to talk us through the menu. we had the 6 course tasting menu that was all very well thought out and the aromen were incredible. the wine pairing I had was also very friendly staff. as I would say a wonderful experience and unpredictablely recommend."

"The Brewers set lunch menu is extraordinary value. Three beautiful courses for £25 is just brilliant once you know the quality of the food. The menu is ever evolving. We love that. There are usually favourites steak, burger, fish. But then there are seasonal surprises. This time I had a seat pudding which was exquisite full of rich flavours, delicate, immersed in a beautiful gravy. As veterans of the Brewers, we've loved seeing not just the evolution of the food (away from some of its over foodie obsessed predecessor chefs to something much more rooted in local produce and simple presentation. But we've loved seeing something else the superb service by Emma and Jess, understated, attentive, personal but not intrusive. They make the journey to Rattlesden well worth making. Regulars will know that I've reviewed the Brewers before. Yesterday was our umpteenth visit. And it was utterly perfect. Thanks to all the team who make this aspirational village pub/restaurant such a treat to visit. Oh, and border terrier Molly B loves it too. She's now part of the furniture."

"Almost perfect! My partner and I enjoyed a delightful dinner at this place a few weeks ago. The food was delicious and our waitress was very helpful and accommodating. We have dined here before and plan to return soon."

"Friendly staff, good pasta, *really* good pizza. First off, the bad news as the evening progresses, they run out of food. The good news, also, is that as the evening progresses, they run out of food, the result of them preferring to stick with quality over quantity. And it shows the pizzas are very, *very* good. Mind you, the pasta isn't bad either, and they have an excellent selection of beer and wine (as well as Fernet+Coke. I wonder if they are Argentinians behind the scenes... The key though is that the staff is very, very friendly. This is the kind of place that you basically hang out in, and it's designed to be that way.."

"this is one of these restaurants where they draw attention to every detail from the moment they leave in the moment they leave. it is another level of mouthwater food. I have been twice and I have decided that every time my man proposes a weeking in london, the frog is eating is scrupulous, ghost bags. it is artistic and I love the culture behind it. the sustainable ethos. I also love the open kitchen and they will see the happy, focused chefs work flawlessly on every single dish. we had adams classic for the taste menu, which takes about 3 hours to eat. they have no waiting time and they have not rushed over their food. it is so delicate and tasty that you feel like in the sky, a feeling supplemented by the wonderful atmosphere."
