"I had to wait until my second visit before writing a review just to make sure that my first visit wasn 't a fluke. I 'm pleased to say that my second visit was as good as the first and in some respects even better. This time I selected different Tapas dishes and I have to say that they were as delicious as on my previous visit. The portions are generous and the presentation is appealing, I love the wooden paddles and individual frying pans that they are served in. The staff are extremely accommodating and focused on making your dining experience a memorable one. I ordered a bottle of wine; nothing wrong with it other than the it was a little too bright for my taste. This is no reason to return a wine but the staff offered to replace the bottle with a different one; I declined as there was nothing wrong with the wine, after 15 minutes the brightness faded or perhaps after the first glass I stopped caring. I have never encountered such attention to customer satisfaction in all my years of dining out, at the time of writing this review I 'm making another reservation for this weekend."

"I visited New Mexico on September 30, 2023. The restaurant was clean and bustling, with a pleasant atmosphere. We started with drinks and shared some nachos, which were very nice. For our main courses, I ordered the combination fajitas, and my wife chose the prawn fajitas. While the food itself was tasty, I was disappointed with the portion sizes. My wife received three wraps but only three prawns, and in my dish, there was just one prawn, two tiny pieces of beef, and four pieces of chicken across three wraps. We did enjoy dessert, which was lovely and reasonably priced, but overall the main meal really let the evening down. I won’t be returning."

"Another lovely visit to La Casa but this time the Leith venue rather than Dalry. My brother and his partner had never been but they absolutely loved it too! Best place for a giant copa de sangría and unusual tapas. Great selection of vegetarian options too!"

"Came here with my friend for bottomless brunch yesterday, could not have been more impressed. Not only do you get a glass of prosecco on arrival, our first drinks were at the table within a few minutes and the staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was lovely, just the right amount to complement the drinking part of the bottomless brunch. Plenty of options for me as a coeliac, I had the chilli bowl and my friend had the albondigas (meatballs) and we both really enjoyed our food. Also, you get two hours as opposed to all other places I've seen where you only get 90 minutes. Plenty of choices for drinks, honestly cannot criticise everything. 10/10. Will definitely been returning."

"So rather than verbally giving our order we circled our choices and handed to the waiter, starters, tapas and paella. We waited about 40 minutes so asked when our starters were, the waiter apologised and said he would check in it, brought us a couple of plates and we waited, we then received all tapas and paella no starters! I asked where the starters were, look of horror and asked why the tapas and paella were brought together, the answer was is that not what you wanted? The tapas was great, but as a grazing establishment, I would have liked to think that we could pace ourselves and not have it all in one hit ! And the Paella did NOT have a crispy bottom as bet the menu stated or even as it should be. I wouldn 't have minded too much, but we were settled in for a grazing session, as you do with tapas. It was not busy at all, probably about 6 tables maximum being waited on. Bad experience, poor kitchen execution, good tapas but overshadowed by what should have been a lengthy experience turned out to be a get em in/ get em out mentality."

"Very easy to book online with a choice of available dates. La Casa is right out a tram stop so no worries about where to park. Lovely welcome by the staff. Great choices on the menu, we chose the chicken and mushrooms in white wine sauce and it was serves piping hot, just as we like it. We chose the dessert as recommended by the waiter and it was delicious. Will definitely be back. A huge thanks to all the staff on duty."

"Avoid at all costs, and it cost a lot!. I went to Las Iguanas last night for the first time and I have to say, I was NOT impressed. We were seated fairly quickly, but that is where the praise for Las Iguanas ends Service was extremely slow and somewhat incompetent... We only had two courses each but ended up waiting for so long that we were actually in the restaurant for 3 and a half hours!! When the food finally arrived, it was brought out at different times (some of us had finished before others had even got theirs) and it was cold. Portions were also far too small given the high prices, especially the desserts. For what we paid I'd expect far better quality, bigger portions and...read more"

"We go here regularly and it is a nice local place. The platters are tasty in the main. Serrano ham, manchego cheese croquettes, garlic prawns and squid are our favourites. Service is fair if a little sleepy and the staff have quite good knowledge which is a plus. The selection of wines are nice apparently I’m teetotal. We welcome good standard local restaurants as people are reasonably affluent in South Ealing and will go further afield for a decent meal if necessary. Good to give the more established places some competition."

"I highly recommend trying the signature roll, the Dragon Roll, at this restaurant. It was absolutely amazing - fresh and delicious. The service was also excellent. I can't recommend this place enough!"

"This is a great place with friendly staff and delicious food. We chose it because we love Spanish cuisine and it definitely lived up to our expectations, we really enjoyed the food. The special offer that starts at 11 where all tapas can be eaten for a low price is highly recommended. The restaurant is easy to find and has a nice location. The only issue we encountered was on Sunday when we planned to visit, we were able to reserve a table starting at 10:45 but the restaurant didn't open until 11, which was a bit confusing. It's a good idea to make a reservation, especially on weekends."

"It has been a while since my last visit to this restaurant, so I cannot provide a detailed account of what I ate. However, I was surprised to find only two reviews and felt compelled to leave a review myself."

"A truly painful experience. Waited over an hour for food with people who came in after us being served before us as our waitress obviously forgot to put the order through. Got sat next to the door on a chilly day whilst large groups of teenagers were in and out constantly vaping/smoking leaving the door open. Had to get up to close it all the time; luckily a family was sat next to us who tagged in with the door closing. It seemed tables just drinking were prioritised over people ordering food. And when we finally got our food I found a bit of metal Brillo pad/scourer in the chips. A restaurant run by children for children to get drunk on cheap cocktails, definitely not somewhere to go for dinner."

"We absolutely adore Taperia! This hidden gem in Thornton Heath always greets us with a warm welcome and provides excellent service. The food is phenomenal - authentic, generous, and simply delicious. During our latest visit, we tried the paella for the first time and found it to be a great value for the price. We even had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The variety of tapas available is impressive, catering to everyone's tastes. While the lamb chops are a standout, our personal favorites are the dates wrapped in bacon and the croquettes. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a nice mid-week meal, Taperia is the perfect choice. We can't wait to come back soon, as it truly is a fantastic dining experience."

"the employees had not had my booking on their system, so we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. the service wasn't the best, I thought we ordered ourselves in the theke, as no one had approached us for our order, but we said someone would come to us to take our order. the food itself was very mediocre for the price they pay. small portions filled with a lot of salad. overall the venue was aesthetic, but the service, the eating and the whole mood of the restaurant was a break. very disappointed"

"For those who love Mexican food, this restaurant is situated in the heart of Newcastle's city center. The fajitas are a must-try, as diners can get creative and make their own fajitas. The burrito was also delicious, and the chips were excellent. If you want to sample a variety of Mexican dishes, the sharing plate is a great option as it offers different choices to try. However, the service was slow and we had to wait a long time for our food."

"During our third night in Torquay, I was extremely impressed with Las Iguanas! They had a separate section on their menu dedicated to vegan options, which did not disappoint. I found it charming that they included little vegan flags on the food to signify their pride in offering these choices. I ordered the vegan nachos for a starter and a vegan burrito for my main, but the starter was so filling that I couldn't finish my main! Everything was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We chose to sit outside and used a QR code to order our food. There were also some fantastic vegan cocktail options available on a 2 for 1 special. I would definitely recommend Las Iguanas over the other restaurants on the Riviera strip. "When entering, we sat under tables full of family members who walk over each other so that I and my partner were unable to speak a lot as we could not hear. We then got a menu that was just a small selection of dishes and not where on the site said it would be a set dinner. Then we ordered our food that appeared forever and our drinks were forgotten. Our starters arrived after 20 minutes and they were small but beautiful. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we got a bowl of veg and potatoes to share when it said that our meals did not come to share with potatoes and veg and then they charged us £162!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!! The food was nice, but the overall experience and the price was a massive decline for New Year's Eve."

"We had dinner here yesterday with a party of 9. We did not have a reservation but were seated quickly and even provided a high chair for our grandson. We all ordered different dishes and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean and organized (until our grandson made a mess, apologies). We highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed."
