"Thank you Lutyens for another excellent lunch. My sister who joined me as my guest had a broken foot and the manager and staff were most accommodating in finding a box to stand it on so it was raised. The Dover sole is always very good but as a beer drinker could they stock Birra Moretti as well as Peroni as the former is much nicer and it's what the Italians drink!"

"I met up with a few friends at this restaurant for their great value early evening special. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. Even though it wasn't very busy (it was a Monday evening), we didn't mind as we were there to catch up with each other. The building itself is also quite lovely."

"Food was gloopy and disappointing Thai papaya salad was not remotely authentic sweet chilli sauce covering chunks of papaya fruit (rather than dry and grated) on a bed of leaves... very wrong. Pastas were cold and miso salmon tasteless. Tuna nicoise looked like it was made the day before and dressing was pink/grey in colour and inedible, Portions were poor."

"I go to Albion a lot for business lunches as it's round the corner from my office. Food is always good (menu is extensive) and service is always friendly. My only criticism is that three staff will ask to take your order within the first 5 minutes you're there, but you can't get hold of anyone for a coffee or the bill at the end of the meal... every time. So if you're in a rush to leave, allow plenty of time to try to grab someone to pay."

"Visited here whilst in Putney on a Friday lunchtime. Very busy at the tills but staff are efficient. Lots more seating in this branch than it first appears. Other than the initial seating you can see there is a big space at the back of the shop behind the tills as well as on another floor. Despite being busy the tables were being kept clean which is great. Various new flavour wraps and sandwiches on offer in November in preparation for Xmas. I had a new falafel and avocado wrap with chipotle sauce which was good. Really like their seltzers. They are quite bitter so maybe not everyone’s choice but I think they are great as no sugar and great taste. The spelt and oat cookies were lovely."

"This restaurant is a nice spot for a quick snack. It could use more seating. The coffee was excellent and the sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and the baked goods were tasty. I appreciate the option to bring your own cup and receive a discount on your hot drink."

"We booked a table at Kindred as we were seeing a show at the Eventim Apollo. kindred was very easy to find from Hammersmith station. Only a min walk. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was approximately mins before our booking however the staff were very lovely and accommodating. The restaurant on a whole inside was smaller however the ambience and atmosphere when youâre there is amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone who is seeing a show at The Eventim or nearby and would definitely go again x"

"had breakfast here and ordered the dragonfruit smoothie dish and butterfly latte. the basic of the smoothie dish was frozen as a whole, which made it impossible to make the food settings and it came frozen and icy in the middle, which sucked. rather tasty but taste and beautiful to see drachenfruit. my was with granola (homemade and oil-free, which was a plus! and instead of chia seeds, kokosrasen and berries I just ordered berries. I have two earthly berries and two heavens who were disappointed. they told me they were organic, but I'm uncertain if they just say they liked me. the part was on the small side and the whole was also covered with a sad flower. the latte was in order, but they do not make their own milk and use instead bought. fun latte menu would have been so good if they had a better milk option. sat outdoors and it was a beautiful environment to be in the middle of the city. a little annoying that they could not get a physical menu on request and had to scan a code with their phone instead. I still had a good time and think they are on something, but wished they were a little on the quality (and of course at least go vegetarian. updated by previous review on 2022-09-30"

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"The cafe is beautiful and the staff were lovely but the food was bland. I ordered a tabbouleh salad which was supposed to have walnuts in it but they were missing. Tabbouleh is supposed to have strong mint and lemon flavours but all I could taste was mild parsley. There was no dressing on the salad but bottles of olive oil and balsamic were put on the table. The salad should have been dressed by the chef and left to marinate for a while. The halloumi was nicely cooked though."

"On the whole a very nice lunch. The staff were lovely, and the ambience very pleasant. I had the spinach and pistachio gnocchi and my friend had the chicken and asparagus risotto both were extremely tasty. We also had a small glass of pinot grigio each, which was equally good. The restaurant was pleasingly quiet and airy. Any downsides? Though the food is very good, it's reasonably pricey I also thought the sour cherry yoghurt/ice cream was a tiny bit bland. Nevertheless, the lovely staff and the tasty main course would encourage me to visit again."

"First time at the restaurant. We had cancelled our original reservation. The restaurant reached to ask why. I was impressed by that personal customer service so we booked for another night. We had the Burrata and ‘Nduja Topped Foccacia, the Lasagna and their signature dish, Penne Giardiniera. My husband and I both thought those dishes were average and probably wouldn’t order them if we go back. There are many other interesting dishes we would try though. The service is excellent and we hat was very nice. Some of their baked goods look good and we’d like to try breakfast there."

"we came to the breakfast. the place was almost empty, yet the waiter wanted to sit right next to the stairs (below to the loos where it was so rugged, they could not move their chair at all. but he was all smiling when we asked for another. the eier benedicts looked very good and was well cooked the problem was that eating was almost cold when it arrived. I fear that the avocado came out of the refrigerator and that the bisquits had been turned back. a shame. I would have rated it much higher if it were warm. the price is quite steep compared to other places,"

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"I cannot recommend Smaka enough, I was there several times (for dinner and for brunch on Saturday) and the food and service are always brilliant. You have won t get a burger there, Swedish cuisine it is (I think), but if you love your food and you don't mind trying different and tasty dishes, then you must give it a try. I love my pancakes and can now say that I tried American, French and Swedish and would have second (third) help from all. The restaurant is on a quiet street and the decor is a bit boring (looks more like a pret a manger unfortunately as a place with unforgettable cooking), but it has great food and wine and it is excellent value for money."
