"Been here a couple of times as this is probably the best pakistani restaurant nearby. And as it is in Marylebone it means a lot. Food is fantastic, quite spicy sometimes but on the other hand this restaurant is one with the concept BYOB that means bring your own bottle that you can buy on a liquor store in front. Small service charge for this or ask for a starter as you won't regret anyway. Coming back as soon as i am able."

"The food was incredibly tasty and had great options for vegans and vegetarians. I am vegan and my partner is vegetarian. He initially ordered naan bread for himself, but I knew it contained butter. The server was very friendly and happily swapped it out for a vegan version so I could enjoy it too. The staff were all wonderful and the service was fantastic. We are looking forward to coming back again!"

"The variety of food and quality was outstanding. We didn’t have a reservation and it was a busy Saturday evening but they found us a table quickly. We had a cocktail first at the bar which, like the main restaurant, had a buzzy vibe, full of young people but not intimidating for us slightly older! The price point is spot on and both myself and my husband loved, loved, loved the lamb chops best ever. The service was attentive and we will definitely be back although if we bring friends we will ask for a table in the conservatory as it’s quieter so more conducive to chatting."

"Last night we ordered a takeaway from the Ashoka. Long story short I was not amused. Now, don 't get me wrong. The Ashoka 's Chicken Jalfrezi is hard to beat and their pakora is pretty darn sexy. BUT, when I have a craving for a takeaway I want just that, and not to be ripped off completely. First things first you can call any single one of the Ashoka restaurants direct and try to order a takeaway, but they will all tell you the same thing. Namely, that you have to call a special number to order a takeaway. Know what that means? It means that to order some food you have to call a PREMIUM RATE NUMBER. Er, Hello? I know it 's not just me who thinks that this is unreasonable. Next up is the fact that they try to confuse you so much about their prices that you end up paying far more than you were expecting to. You will find three completely different sets of prices when you call up, when you look at the restaurants take away menu and when you try to order online. I can only assume that this is some low end tactic to rip you off. Last night it cost us over £20 to order two main curries, 1 portion of rice and 1 naan bread. And, as always, the naan was burnt. Do you feel like a valued Ashoka customer? Because I definitely don 't. I 'll be ordering from someone else next time."

"I booked The Green Tree for my birthday celebration with my twin brother and family, and it was our first time there. The food was absolutely fantastic - the best Indian food I've had in a while. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and patient with us (there were 10 of us, including 3 children). Marisha, in particular, was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone got exactly what they had ordered. The whole family really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this place - don't miss out on it!"

"we went for an dinner of 5:30 to leave 7 for a concert. the waiter who sat on us was very welcoming and asked if we know Nepalese food we were ignorant and he was pleased to be able to imagine. he noticed our different levels of chili tolerance, and our common meat intolerance, taken into account in the mixed plate of -um art by ravioli with a sesame flavored dip or a chili sauce. they were melted in the mouth beautifu. we also ordered the very Nepali speciality of puffed rice think soft popcorn with spices and crawls, no sose as further starters before our two nets of auberginen, ocra accompanied by rice and roti (chappatis . the auberginen in their gravur) were so delicious we ordered a second dish. but the swollen rice was a disappointment for both of us something too spicy and salty, with an unknown taste I really did not like. the waiter fulfilled our hope to be around 7 and without obvious haste or panic on both sides. the bill was about £60 including 600cl beer and a glass wee, and I would go again."

"My partner and I had been considering trying this restaurant for a while. We have Gurkha friends who have cooked us delicious momo dumplings and curries in the past, so we were excited to try the food here. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. My pork and Pak choi curry had no sauce or Pak choi, and was mostly just rice. The momo dumplings were hard, chewy, and flavorless, instead of being light and fluffy. The vegetarian platter was also disappointing, with small pieces of onion pyaji and soft samosas. Overall, we were not happy with our meal and feel that it was not worth the price of £50+. It's a shame because we had high hopes for this restaurant."

"Genuinely superb. Thank goodness we came here. Completely different place since they got rid of the buffet. Food absolutely delicious and service from Dipak and the team was GREAT. Deserved to be really busy. Good range of food all reasonably priced. One of our party was having a birthday and was made to feel really special. OVERALL SUPERB!"
