"I have frequented this establishment on two occasions now and never been disappointed. Upon arrival, expect to be welcomed by a courteous and friendly young lady and waiters. With enough time being give to comfortably place orders. Above all waiters have never been too far away or hard to get the attention of when having a query. At sight, the restaurant was clean and well lit, and it’s great to see the car park has had some work done to it too! One downside being a small number of toilets, however, on both occasions there toilets have been above standard in regard to cleanliness! I had opted for a Chicken Tikka sizzler, and a Chicken Madras. With sides of rice and poppadoms. On both occasions… Now, on both occasions I have been left wanting more! Devastated at the sight of my empty plate! The cost of food is very reasonable when taken into account, how fresh and delicious it tasted! There is also a selection of beers and house wines to wet the whistle, or cool down after something spicy, and a great selection too! Upon asking for the bill, the young lady, I can’t remember her name was a credit to the business. Me and friends asked a little more info about the establishment, and she was on hand to inform us, and couldn’t thank us enough for our custom. Card and Cash payments welcome! Sometimes the service can be just as important as the food! Keep up the good work, hoping to be back in the area later in the year for round 3!"

"I'm currently studying for masters disertation and came in here on a quiet Tuesday morning to have breakfast and work. I'd come here before a few weeks ago when the manager was in. He was lovely and let me stay for 4+ hours even though I only ordered a coffee and I'd been raving about how lovely this place was for the past few weeks. This morning I went and arrived at 11:30 and asked to sit in and was told that I could only sit on the bar I pointed to an empty table and the waiter grudgingly allowed me to sit. I was sitting next to two other people on their laptops neither of whom had ordered food. I ordered pancakes and a coffee (asked for no banana on my pancakes) and bottle water, the coffee never came and pancakes had banana on but I left it because the staff seemed stressed. After only an hour and half I was asked to aggressively leave because the cafe has a 2 hour limit. Despite the fact that the person next to me who hadn't ordered food was not moved a long and there was no queue of people waiting. Little did the know I was about to order lunch so they missed out on my service. If you're the lovely manger reading this then I would talk to your staff about the tone they are taking with customers. I understand a 2 hour laptop rule but I was only there for an hour and a half compared to people next to me and I felt like I was picked on. because I was a younger woman working in the cefe covered to the middle aged people sitting next to me."

"Arrived in London late and hungry. We still had to check in to our hotel and had noticed, on the Yelp App, that Salt was not far. We asked the front desk guy about it but apparently he wasn 't a fan. He referred to it as where night people went. Not sure what he meant by that at the time but, it was night and I was hungry so, I guess that made me one of them. Left our things in the room and walked to Salt. As we approached the restaurant we realized what he meant. We were in a middle eastern part of town and this place was packed even though it was already 10pm on a weekday. The people at the outside tables were smoking hookah, having delicious looking Nan bread with dipping sauces, and everyone seemed to be having a great, relaxing time. Seemed like a great place so far. Went in and liked it even more. Plenty of tables all around, beautiful and very organized full bar (with a long list of whiskeys), and we were seated immediately. Took me a while to decide on what to eat, they have a good variety of dishes on their menu, mostly Indian cuisine but there some dishes for people who prefer things like a burger or fish and chips. Finally decided on their Chicken wrap, and we also ordered a lamb wrap and potato cake. While we waited for the food we got our drinks... vodka soda and a Campari Spritzer. The food came out fairly fast and hot. Big portions and Big flavors. The Chicken wrap had a delicious curry taste, and you can ask for it to made with nan instead of a regular wrap bread . The Nan makes a huge difference, trust me. Made me want to ask for more on the side but I refrained as what we had on the table was more than enough already. It comes with a mint sauce on the side but, I enjoyed it more with the yogurt sauce from the potato pancake. Which were very tasty too! Our server came over from time to time to bring us new drinks, refill our waters and make sure food was to our liking. So glad we didn 't listen to the guy at the hotel. As mentioned it was my first night in London, and so far it started on a great note. Definitely a place I would recommend!"
