"I usually never write bad reviews as it's best to say nothing at all if you don't have anything nice to say. Also we are quite easy to please. However, this restaurant is just atrocious. Rude waitresses who didn't know what was on the menu! Rude service when pushing people out of the way to place food on the table. Orders wrong. 2 hour wait for main course and restaurant was empty. Accompaniments clearly out of a jar......one being Strawberry jam with chicken! I kid you not! Drinks spilt on guests. Food brought out at different times. The list goes on and on. Like I said, usually I don't write bad reviews but this was too poor to miss."

Definitely worth a visit! Great food followed up by excellent service. Wide range of vegetarian options. Food came in a timely manner and everyone had a fantastic time! Will be coming back very soon!

Lovely staff all ver friendly and welcoming. Tasty food and in a nice location near the canal! Definitely recommend to friends and family for good Indian food at a reasonable price and decent portions.

Excellent Meal in what's one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. Food and service were top notch. It's a shame that the location isn't brilliant we didn't struggle to find it but we didn't know exactly where it was! Needs more people inside to create a better atmosphere. We will go back soon.

First time at this restaurant and we came away with mixed reviews. Service wise we were treated very well, amenable host, good gaps between orders and we'll presented food. The starters were good if not a little too many chic peas. The mains were on the whole okay without delighting us too much. It lacked a little atmosphere but it was a Wed in November so that's to be half expected. Will be back to try again and support local independent businesses.

We enjoyed our visit to Canal Sq. The food was tasty, especially the starters of which we ordered 3 between 2 people. The presentation of the food was lovely and main course was great. Only down side was that the restaurant was very quite on a Saturday night, we were the only couple there and apart from another small group the place was empty. This affected the ambience and made the evening less enjoyable. The waiters were inexperienced and often showed immaturity but were friendly. The manager or host was really friendly and asked for feedback between each course.
