"We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"This is my favourite place to grab lunch. It has a wide variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and some hot food. The prices are good and the food tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and very switched on when it comes to allergy information. My diet is quite restrictive, however I have so much choice here. I can't recommend it enough!"

"The best peruvian restaurant in the UK! This is definitely the place to eat anything peruvian. The food here is not only authentic but is presented in an artistic way. Each dish is composed meticulously bringing different ingredients from the three main regions of Peru. Their cocktail menu is extensive and really well done. "My first visit, and it was a fantastic experience. Really enjoyed speaking with the friendly team (Khal and Esther and learning from them. Walked out with far more wine than I went in for and a smile on my face! "Decent sushi, props to the chef. We had the sushi master selection for two people (28 pieces of assorted sushi, 2 miso soups and bottomless green tea) and some tuna sashimi at the end which came to £26 altogether which is a reasonable price for sushi from what I've seen. It's a small stall in the bullring fish market run by just the chef so it has an authentic feel and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Otoro sushi however I suggest booking ahead as it is always busy."
