"Very surprised to read some of the reviews from visitors at TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge as we have always had excellent service and the food is some of the best Indian dishes we have had.We were seated inside the TigerBay Shisha Lounge however as this has open sides all round and even an open roof in warmer days or nights, we felt completely safe and COVID protected. The evening was very busy but had a great atmosphere and we didn’t feel cramped or as if we were too near to other customers. The music especially with the appearance of DJ Shraii gives something a little bit extra special than other venues.All members of staff wore face masks and we noticed they politely reminded any customers to use their masks when not seated at their tables.The food is always hot and you can hear the sizzle plates sizzling as the food is served. Portions are really generous and we usually find it hard choosing from all the delicious dishes on offer.The mocktails are especially good and the fruity versions topped with fresh and sweet fruit. We have not tried the Shisha varieties however talking to people we met last week, they said the choices are good and flavours excellent quality. So even without Shisha being available at the moment under Covid rules, TigerBay Shisha Lounge is a great venue.We are looking forward to spending many more summer evenings especially in the garden area which is beautifully filled with gorgeous plants and makes you feel you are on holiday and not just on an evening out.Keep doing what you do so well TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge."

"The food at this restaurant is made fresh to order. The Dal could use a bit more salt, but it was still good when paired with rice. The standout aspect of this place is the excellent service. The host even went above and beyond to create a new mocktail for a colleague who did not like the Virgin Colada. The food may take a bit longer to be served since it is made to order, but it is definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional service and fresh, made-to-order food."

"Just enjoyed a superb meal. We had Pani Puri Sheek Kabab starters followed by Paneer Lababdor and chicken makhani. All dishes were really good, but the chicken was the best “butter chicken” I have ever eaten. Really pleased they have continued to fill the dishes with plenty of meat and paneer. Price is still fair. Umami may not match Dishoom for decor, but the food is just as good."

"The food was excellent (and spicy!), and the staff were very friendly. However, it felt as though we were forgotten at times. The aperitif was served, followed immediately by the starters. Then, after about 45 minutes, the main courses arrived. We ordered a bottle of wine, and thanks to our keen observation skills, we realized they were serving us a bottle that had already been opened and was missing a full glass. After dinner, we requested a taxi, but a friend of the restaurant came to pick us up and ended up charging us double the fare we paid upon arrival."

"What an absolute find! We happened on this restaurant while visiting Chelsea. TPH is an elegant restaurant featuring a wonderful balance of mainstream dishes with a sophisticated twist. A perfect example is the samosa appetizer. Light and fluffy on the inside and delicately crisp on the outside. This would have been great on it’s on own but was served with a chickpea stew combining a wonderful blend of herbs and spices that made it one of the best things I’ve eaten in quite some time. The menu features rich, textured curries, perfectly tender meats, fresh seafood and veggie dishes served by a gracious husband and wife team who truly care about your dining experience. All this and not while not putting a big dent in your pocketbook. We will definitely be back."

"Indian theme Resturant located next to temple in Wembley. I was impressed with their wraps around Harrow and Wembley , as per my experience they serve good quality and portioned wraps with Masala chips. Try their Cottage cheese wraps for £4.99 , it's fresh and made with fresh tandoori naan. The owners has planned and well executed theme of the Resturant as authentic to Indian Bollywood. They have also imported Royal Enfield bike and kept at display in the entrance which is impressive. The service is great and they follow the protocol for Covid. They have limited parking in front of the Resturant. Overall good experience so far."

"Used to be good, this time around we were served raw chicken and when I told them they proceeded to argue that the expert the chef said it was not. I pointed out the blood and pink bits of chicken but was no use as the expert didn’t agree. Not great customer service nor did they offer a discount or apology and I paid the meal even if I didn’t eat it."

"The service is based on drinks as this was a buffetbooked this restaurant for a curry as it was the only one left on valentines night. Turned up and it was a buffet which was a shock as my girlfriend is gluten free. "Booked for bottomless brunch on Saturday, only to turn up and find the restaurant closed. My friend had travelled from Liverpool and myself from the other side of Manchester, so to say this was disappointing is an understatement! I rang the number and in fairness they answered, but I don’t feel they offered a solid resolution. They claimed they had tried to get in touch but I’d confirmed the table the day before through the Opentable text I received. I had no missed calls, no other texts and no emails from Aamchi. Their reasoning for cancelling was that we were the only booking which is fair enough, but any form of communication would have been appreciated! I believe if they’d have just cancelled through open table it would have notified me so I don’t believe this excuse of trying to get in touch they clearly just forgot. If the booking had been cancelled then we wouldn’t have been as annoyed and would have saved hours (and the cost) of travelling between us! They offered to give us “something special” the next time we come, but considering we travelled out of our way to come for the bottomless brunch, I can’t say I’m willing to make the journey again to risk another disappointment. Shout out to Chit and Chaat where we had a great meal as an alternative!"

"This was a lovely dining experience for a Saturday night. The décor is classy and the waiting staff were attentive. "A very good place for standard items one finds in middle of the road Indian restaurants. What the place lacks in experimentation, it makes up for in dependability. Some items to note are the Rajasthani bhindi (called simply as 'crispy okra ' or 'bhindi kurkure ' at other places), paneer tikka, which was smokey and very well made, and vegetable Manchurian (a quintessentially Indo Chinese staple). The location of the restaurant is superb, perfect for a meal after a walk in Beddington park. The outdoor benches are a delight (we were told those are only for drinks, but we couldn 't help noticing a member of the staff bringing food at another outdoor table maybe the waitress at the bar misunderstood our question), and the staff are courteous. We will be visiting again!"

"Unwelcoming. Very slow service, had to ask a person who worked in the back who was not a waiter to serve us and he was very nice, if he hadn't done so we would have left. They should employ him as front man! Wrong dish was served. Service was unfriendly, like we were not wanted there. As they served the wrong dish I had to eat my food after the person accompanying me had finished his. Is a large restaurant which is a little chilly, absolutely no effort by the waiters and no ambience, there was some background music but could hardly hear it. Shame because the food is very good and has been since they opened. No good for couples."

"This is my go-to curry restaurant for delivery, but last night was my first dining experience there for a friend's farewell party. We had an amazing evening, with the staff being extremely patient with our large and disorganized group. They were very friendly and organized, making sure everyone received their orders. The food was delicious, each dish was perfect, and the portions were generous. It was a very enjoyable evening and I will definitely be returning to dine there again!"
