"The three of us shared 2 starters and 3 mains. The trio of starters was delicious, although one was a surprisingly bright green. The lamb strips were particularly impressive, served with a red-currant jelly and Indian spices. For those who enjoy a rich, slightly sweet curry, the lamb and apricot dish is a must-try. My sister's lamb practically melted off the bone, while my friend loved her creamy and flavorful New Delhi chicken. The naan bread was some of the best I've had, light and crispy, and the side of mushroom curry was also a hit. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant - as a self-proclaimed foodie, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. At £21 per person including drinks, it was a bargain for such a great dining experience."

"The service was excellent, but we waited for 40 minutes without realizing it. The delivery driver claimed he knocked on the door, but he didn't. Our two dogs were going crazy! However, the food was returned and it was delicious. Thank you for the prompt second delivery. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable."

"We had biryani with lamb on the bone and my partner had manchurian veggie balls and veggie noodles. The biryani came in a fairly big bowl but the lamb on the bone portion was only just adequate. The lamb was tender and tasted very nice. The rice was just okay Fairly nice flavours but overrall a very dry dish and I didn't like the cloves in the rice. It was expensive for what it was! My partner enjoyed the manchurian veggie balls but said they were very spicy. She did NOT enjoy the veggie noodles as she said they were bland. I tried the noodles too and I could've done a better cooking job at home and I'm not a good cook!!!!! Most of the veggie noodles were left on the plate!! The waiter did NOT help us with our menu choices which is POOR customer service! To sum up, the food was average and expensive for what you got We may be tempted to return if there is a special offer in TWO years time!!!!! "Vaasu was easy to book. However, the parking can be tough in Marlow, so a bit of planning is needed. Food choices were limited but excellent. Food itself was outstanding. Lamb chop and Butter Chicken are recommended. Gatte ki sabji is recommended to vegetarians. People very polite and efficient and place has a welcoming feel. Would recommend to add more options. "I visited the restaurant with a large group and the service was exceptional—extremely attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding; I truly feel this is authentic Indian cuisine at its best. Every dish we had throughout the meal was flawless, showcasing incredible flavors and a perfect balance of spices. While it's not the cheapest option, it offers fine dining at a very high standard. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. For vegetarians: there are plenty of dishes that cater to your needs. As for parking, there is ample space available within The Grove estate."

"Me and my girlfriend came here and were pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere and decor were fine the starters were good but the meal really took off when we got to the mains. "The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"not to find the simplest place, but an absolute pearl when they do. the inner is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. from our experience the service was from the beginning attentive, friendly and fast, but without being overwhelming. the quality of the food was delivered in good time excellent, fresh and hot. and especially it was very delicious. the choice of crying is also a plus point. overall a great experience and we will not hesitate to go back. highly recommended. "for our booked time, shown too table, but took the staff 20 minutes too table to order any form of order (drinks or eat!) not said that the restaurant does not take a card! I pretend I had to leave the restaurant to drive the money machine over the street to pay the bill. bill received however, could not believe that the price of a pint of cobra 8 pfund! was always satisfied with the service before in this restaurant, but that was not our best experience."

"We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area. At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so quiet, but the manager greeted us warmly. We ordered some Bombay-style snacks to nibble on, and they were quite spicy (I usually avoid spicy foods), but very enjoyable nonetheless. My partner's chicken starter was a bit too salty for our taste (we try to limit salt for health reasons), but the chef came over to chat with us and generously offered to prepare another chicken starter right away. He also adjusted our mains to suit our preferences. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the virgin piña colada. The portion sizes were great too (pictures were taken after we finished eating)."

"We are thrilled to have Purbani as our local Indian restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, with a good range of dishes available from mild to very hot. In the 10 years that we have been dining here, we have only encountered one or two dishes that lacked in spices. Everything on the menu has been delicious, except for the Balti and regular Biryani which we found disappointing. We highly recommend trying their Indian Street Food Mumbai Biryani and Tarka dhal, both of which are delicious. Some of our other favorites include Korai Methi Gosth, Xacuti, Korma, Dansak, Pathia, Captain Naga, and Jalfrezi. The Naan breads are also very tasty. The service at the restaurant and from delivery drivers has always been excellent. We are now craving some curry, so we are off to place an order!"

"Although it was New Year’s Eve, when we arrived, it was clear that the booking hadn’t been transferred from the app to the book by the restaurant and as such we were seated over 35 minutes late. The table was not in a great position as it was in the way of the route to the toilet, but not really a major issue. Apart from when the food was brought to the table, there was no interaction with anyone from the restaurant. I had to chase for additional drinks and for a cloth to clean the table after the starters. Food was good and no complaints there."

"We set out to go to a favourite Indian, but we couldn't get in. One of our group suggested the Indus in Attercliffe. I'm so glad we did, the food was amazing, really tasty and fresh, we all ordered different and there was none of that generic curry going on here. Each dish was so different, mine was delicious and we all said the same about our food. The staff were friendly and quite funny, we had a great time. It was starting to get busy when we left, no wonder, this little gem is definitely a place we'll be going back to and recommending."

"After having a long day at Alton Towers, we decided to get something to eat on our way back to Leeds and it was by far the best choice. Everything was just right, the food being of a great standard, everything cooked to perfection. The starters (large mix grill) were absolutely amazing, with a real charcoal grill taste. The curry was by far the best one I have had, although was a little bit spicy(my fault, asked for extra hot). It’s really one of those places you have to try so you can understand the taste of the food. Words just cannot describe it!!"
