"We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area. At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so quiet, but the manager greeted us warmly. We ordered some Bombay-style snacks to nibble on, and they were quite spicy (I usually avoid spicy foods), but very enjoyable nonetheless. My partner's chicken starter was a bit too salty for our taste (we try to limit salt for health reasons), but the chef came over to chat with us and generously offered to prepare another chicken starter right away. He also adjusted our mains to suit our preferences. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the virgin piña colada. The portion sizes were great too (pictures were taken after we finished eating)."

Delicious Indian cuisine in Northwood! The biryani is a perfect 10/10. Be sure to enjoy it in the restaurant rather than taking it to go; dining in allows the dishes to be served on earthenware, which enhances the flavors and aromas. The rest of the menu is also fantastic!

good food. have been here a lot for mughlai (local Indian cuisine). good manager. but the staff is laborious. they do not know what they serve and have no customer service at all. they could do with the hire of trained long-term staff that would be a great investment for the business.

The restaurant offers a distinctly flavorful Indian cuisine. Its location, slightly removed from Northwood Hills, can be a bit frustrating to access due to often limited street parking, especially during busy times. I would have rated it five stars, but my experience at another establishment was also exceptional. The atmosphere here is lovely, with a clean and stylish presentation of dishes. The lamb dishes are among the best I've ever tasted, and the cooking is impressively light on oil. The decor is beautiful, creating a serene and family-friendly environment. Overall, this restaurant delivers high-quality food and service. Well done!

"what a disappointment, never again. well booked in advance for a Saturday evening meal for three and was very excited about it. was in zaza both in bushey and in pinner and had nothing but good experiences, so thought it would be nice. to have a change of landscape in ruislip. how wrong I was. it was shown our table that was right next to the door and in the middle of the entrance, right where someone went to the restaurant that waited for her table, would float and not a suitable room to enjoy a quiet family dinner. I understand that the last years were challenging for restaurants, but even if they want to add some extra seats in less than ideal places, they should at least warn their patrons before they book them. When I asked if we could be moved, I was asked what was wrong with the table and when I pointed out that the unpleasant edification was welcomed by apathie. I asked if we could be changed to one of the many other empty tables in the venue and said that they were all booked, but that we could wait to see if someone was gone I had booked our table week to be clearly offered the worst place in the house and then essentially treated like an inconvenient walkable to ask left an extremely acid taste. I found the personal I spoke to be cold and quite rude. feeling frustrated and unintentional, we decided to take our business elsewhere and received a warm greeting and a beautiful meal on the road on the mamma pink."
