"I really wanted to like this, we were bought the tasting menu as a gift, and waited for a special occasion to use it. Unfortunately this was sub standard. I would not recommend for the price. Good points interesting use of seafood, never had a sea bream chaat before, and in all fairness this dish was the best we had. wine pairings were successful flexing between both white and red wines from Europe staff were attentive, although a bit quick to turnover courses door staff were lovely presentation of all the food was better than the taste Negatives decor overall felt dated and old fashioned food was largely bland over spiced and not enough flavour. Actually left my main meal of sole kebab as was rubbery overall atmosphere felt stuffy and not at all worthy of a special occasion price did not justify vs other tasting menus. "Delicious food, my second time eating here and I will return! Only slight niggle was that the samosas were cold in the middle as they had clearly come out of the freezer and deep fried it's totally fine that they were frozen obviously but would've been nice if they were warmed right through to the middle. Apart from that, very tasty indeed!"

"the third time when eating in social dhaba, great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, personal was really friendly and polite. they've checked us a lot, but not intrusive. eating was delicious, but as always we had ordered some appetizers and they were all quite spicy, even for the chili lovers of our party. we drank a lot of boundless water. Please note that it is not ideal for younger children who cannot tolerate cold heat. but social dhaba I am back!"

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."

"I had a great time at Masala Gallery. The Long Island Spiced Tea Cocktail was impressive and the food was excellent. The butter naan was some of the best I've ever had - light and fluffy. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The large TV channels added to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely visit again. The only downside was limited parking spaces."

"We went for a family meal to celebrate a special event. We have eaten here several times before and were always impressed with the quality of the food. On this occasion we were eating late in the evening due to other commitments. Some of the food was disappointing. I ordered the lamb tikka biryani. When it arrived, it was clearly chicken not lamb! The rice was very dry and it came with a spicy sauce rather than a vegetable curry. I ate about a third of it. One of the other meals was not particularly inspiring and did not match the promised description. The service was very good, although we did feel the staff were waiting for us to finish as we were the last customers there. In all, we have been a little put off returning to what was one of our favourite places to eat and I am not sure we could recommend it to others despite having done so in the past."

"We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area. At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so quiet, but the manager greeted us warmly. We ordered some Bombay-style snacks to nibble on, and they were quite spicy (I usually avoid spicy foods), but very enjoyable nonetheless. My partner's chicken starter was a bit too salty for our taste (we try to limit salt for health reasons), but the chef came over to chat with us and generously offered to prepare another chicken starter right away. He also adjusted our mains to suit our preferences. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the virgin piña colada. The portion sizes were great too (pictures were taken after we finished eating)."

"Indian theme Resturant located next to temple in Wembley. I was impressed with their wraps around Harrow and Wembley , as per my experience they serve good quality and portioned wraps with Masala chips. Try their Cottage cheese wraps for £4.99 , it's fresh and made with fresh tandoori naan. The owners has planned and well executed theme of the Resturant as authentic to Indian Bollywood. They have also imported Royal Enfield bike and kept at display in the entrance which is impressive. The service is great and they follow the protocol for Covid. They have limited parking in front of the Resturant. Overall good experience so far."

"My first visit to chaiwala 100% will be my last .. the food tasted like it was made a week ago just heated. The pav bhaji had absolutely no taste the chicken tikka was hard, rubbery, and tasted like it had been cooked days ago.. the chips were cold had a load of ketchup poured over the top. I was so disappointed after spending nearly £20 did not touch any of it. Your standards are way below expected you really do need to sort this out. The worst experience ever I will not be returning. "Had dinner delivered from here this evening and the food was fantastic. We went in during the day to check coeliac/gluten free options and Jack went through the menu with us. There was a slight mix up with the order but they went out of their way to put things right and we were so appreciative. "Two of us were visiting Cambridge and needed somewhere to have dinner. There are lots of halal restaurants down Mill Road, and most of them were full and weren’t taking in ‘off the street’ custom. We had originally walked past Cambridge Gourmet Grill as it was the only restaurant not full of people enjoying their food, in fact it was empty there must be something wrong with the food or the place itself, right? Anyway, with no other choice, we went in. First impressions the environment was clean, simple and looked new., the music was soft an unobtrusive. The bathroom was very clean too and actually has scent for you to use! As for the food, we’ll we ordered BBQ wings followed by Nihari with naan. A bit of an eclectic choice perhaps, I must say we were both very impressed the wings were tangy with just enough spiciness, and the Nihari was rich and tasty. During our meal I noticed lots of people out and about on the street, a more than a few of them stopped to read the menu , but unbelievably, no one else came into the restaurant while we were there and this was a Friday night! I’m not easily impressed, but I would highly recommend CGG to anyone looking for tasty Indian/Pakistani food in a nice, quiet atmosphere."

"The Ambiance: Totally cute like you’re stepping onto the set of Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited. The Staff: Welcoming and friendly without being overly ‘present’ (eek those places where like five servers are staring at you from the wings…it doesn’t happen here! . The Food: Very tasty! They serve all the usual suspects (curry, jalfrezi, biriyani, et all along with specialties from various regions. My only mild critique is the small size of the naan; for £2.95 it should have been a bit bigger. However, it was super tasty! Would I eat here again? oh yeah! Very delightful food!"

"Balbirs provided an excellent experience as always, but with a touch of sadness. "I had been here many years before and was delighted it was still open. However although we said we had booked the table on first arriving, it didn’t appear to register. Our coats were not taken and hung up because quite simply there isn’t this service . Instead seeing I was struggling on the tiny two seater table to place my coat anywhere we were ushered to a two seater right at the back by the serving hatches and I was told I could put my coat on top of the utensils behind. Only when we ordered quite a substantial meal and drinks did another waiter seat us at a larger table opposite where our meal could ‘fit’ and my coat could be placed next to me . The meal was however delicious. At the end I mentioned again that we had made a prior reservation but I still don’t think this registered."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"The food at the restaurant was not as good as it had been in previous visits. The service was casual. The shared starter was good as expected, but we were unsure about some of the ingredients. The biryani was mostly rice with a dry texture and burnt on the bottom of the pot, not following the recipe. The paneer masala was nothing special and disappointing, served in a dish with no place to put the rice. We could have gotten something similar for a lower price elsewhere. We have always celebrated our wedding at Prashads and had excellent food and service, but this time was a disappointing and expensive evening."

"We had family visiting so decided to try the restaurant in Bridge of Don. We were a mixed group from regular Indian foodies to my wife’s mother age who had never eaten spicy food before. Serg, the manager met us and immediately struck up a rapor with our group, telling jokes, making a fuss of “Mum” and making us feel very welcome. He advised on the menu and wine and settled us down to what was a very memorable evening.In short, wine was great, food amazing and the staff could not have been more attentive. Would highly recommend anyone who fancied a great Indian food experience"
