"I have been a big fan of the Red Tiffin for a while now. It is the best South Asian takeaway in the area with a good selection of meat-free options. However, I have had some mixed experiences with the staff at the counter. One of them is incredibly friendly and sweet, but there is another guy who can be quite rude. Unfortunately, his attitude has made me hesitant to order from here. It's a shame because other than that, I have had no other issues with this place."

"the third time when eating in social dhaba, great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, personal was really friendly and polite. they've checked us a lot, but not intrusive. eating was delicious, but as always we had ordered some appetizers and they were all quite spicy, even for the chili lovers of our party. we drank a lot of boundless water. "I'm about to order for the second time from here and remembered I said I'd write a review for them if I thought they deserved the praise. They do! Me and my girl both loved the food. Mostly I'd rather cook myself than get a takeaway because I'm generally disappointed with places around Glasgow and feel I've just wasted a bunch of money on low quality garbage. Home Style food is good though, thank god, I'm confident my curry will be good again tonight!"

I made a phonecall to ensure they would deliver to us (out in the sticks) and was really impressed with the friendly nature in which my questions were dealt with. "This restaurant is amazing, beautiful food, good drink selection stellar service, the only thing that let our visit down was charging so much for poppadoms we didn't order! We were provided with 6 poppadoms upon arrival, then charged £6.30 for them, I don't mind paying for them at all, but I think that amount for items we didn't order is excessive. Apart from that I cannot fault the restaurant- staff are so friendly and welcoming the food is great and the setting is beautiful, I would definitely reccomend to anyone, but make them aware of the poppadoms!!"

"Decent location of the place. Be aware of limited car park space. Great prices and huge portion. The lamb was ok, the garlic sauce could have been better. The biggest disappointment was the salad/cabbage. It was tasteless. It is so easy to freshly cut the veg. It would make a massive difference and that I would suggest. PS: Cleanliness of the place should be on a higher level. You've got enough staff to delegate someone to do it."

"We went to Giftos last week. Due to ramzaan its jam packed at iftaar time. They dont take booking so the trick is to come minimum 20-25 mins early to get the table.They serve dates to break the fast. We called for few veg and non veg items I will give rating below. We were so hungry totally forgot to take photos Seekh kebab 3/5 Haleem 3.5/5 Matar Paneer 2.5/5 Paneer tikka 1/5 chicken karahi 3.5/5 Kulfi rabdri falooda 3/5 there was no rabdri and kulfi was ok in taste Not sure if the chefs were under pressure to make food at iftar time for so many tables. We found chkn Karahi bit oily. Over all the food was good. We will try once more once ramzan is over and if there is difference."

"I found an excellent deal for two for just £20. However, the naan resembled the kind you find in a plastic bag at the supermarket, meaning it wasn't freshly cooked in a tandoori oven. "After a long and tiresome day tour through dying we looked for a nice evening meal and we were glad that we were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. came on a quiet Thursday night to dinner with my kumpels, and we all were happy to eat every bit of what we ordered. we were greeted by a smile by a young male staff and sitting on the stand. our drink order was immediately removed and delivered in no time. we always ask for recommendations where we ever visit, the lady staff was probably new, so they had on the same young chap that had known about the menu. began with tandori platter and onion bhaji on the side. followed by 3 curries of medium (garam masala), hot (methi gosht) and spicy (coconut madras) 3 rice and 2 cheese n garlauch naan brot. enjoyed every bite of our meal. so delicious and meat was so tender. prices are average, but the portion size is huge. very impressed by eating and service. will be back to death at the next visit."

"Sorry guys you did your best to correct some issues and our waiter was very pleasant, but I don’t think you seemed to know what a dhansak was as a plate of korma was proffered. Bit suspicious when told that the dhansak already had pineapple in it!?They did change it for something else which was passable but there was not a lot of meat in my Jalfrezi or my wife’s dish.
