"We went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service could have been a bit faster, but it wasn't slow. The venue was very nicely decorated. My only complaint is that there are too many TVs in the restaurant. I didn't realize it would be like that. When I'm having Sunday lunch, I don't want to be surrounded by football on every screen. The restaurant feels more like a sports bar, even though it's not advertised as one. It's a shame because other than that, the restaurant is excellent."

"It's unfortunate that this restaurant has potential with its tasty food, but the service is severely lacking. In the five times we've ordered, our food was delivered incorrectly each time. The first time I arranged for collection, they hadn't even checked their online orders. The second collection went smoothly, but the third time, our order was wrong again. The premises appear unhygienic, and the staff do not seem to be taking any precautions for COVID-19, such as wearing masks or gloves. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the lack of proper hygiene standards and accuracy in orders make it unlikely that we will return. Out of the eight times we've visited, we've only had a satisfactory experience once."

"we were there to help us before our silvester. we were people and it has worked out from the service and the reservation overall well the service was very nice, but also a little bit stressed, which is certainly normal at an almost booked restaurant around silvester. it was occasionally forgotten a drink, but it came very fast when you said something it wasn't bad any more. the food was really good then, I was totally excited. I have said that it should not be sharp, and that it was also so nevertheless not faded, but really excellently marked. I liked it very well, my friends too. the price/performance ratio is great, it was really cheap. will definitely go back"

"a great restaurant! the best of it must fill the section 4 of the curries can be easy to fill 7 hungry! there is a great selection of things that you can do, of which every tastier is the next. the starter and the complementary poppadome were tasty, but a bit lacked in the amount (especially the disc ktikka). our waiter was very nice and was happy to accommodate us with everything we believed, but not on the menu! very nice ambiente and comfortable sitting. another great thing about this Indian restaurant is that it is authentic, and so desi that it reminds me of the home in bharat (india). it is rare to find these kinds of restaurants in Scotland! they would highly recommend if they were looking for authentic Indian taste!"

"Just stopped off here following a long train journey. Received menu and I asked if they did a mixed grill starter for one, as the menu only had it for 2. The waiter front of house said yes they did so I ordered that...together with a main. Cutting the story short when I came to pay the bill they had charged me for the 2 person mixed grill. When I queried this he said it was the only one they did. I asked why he had said they did it for one and he just shrugged his shoulders. I hate being lied to and this was a clear rip off. My question is that if they lie like this to inflate the bill what shortcuts could they take with ingredients/ cooking to make extra money. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby- I would recommend you give those a try this place doesn’t deserve custom."

"unless they are served by the owner who is very pleasant and checked for them, then they expect the service to be simply okay. When we came in, we asked if the place was child-friendly and had high chairs. the soft spoken server that welcomed us, said yes and said he would sit on a four personish. we had then given our menus from the other server and when we asked about the high chair again, he said that the restaurant has no high chairs at all!"

Not allowed to drink water without alcohol and said there was no room for them. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a pub, they were so terrible. "Well, first of all...the gentle man with bald headed seems like he has no clue what he wants to do. On a Saturday evening, thought it would be busy but it was literally just us. This guy seemed no interest in taking order,not even a glass of water was served..bald headed guy was in his phone.. Food We order couple of dishes from starters to main... ordered chicken pakora which seems to bit old. It's had some sort of smell. Fish pakora that smelled really bad with no taste, had to keep them aside. Chicke tikka...would say not too bad,but could have been cooked a bit more. Main Butter chicken, Bhuna, South Indian. Would not blame the efforts that has put on. Would not say this was best but edible. Asked for couple of chapatis extra, here come bald headed guy..he wasn't really happy when we asked for. Initially we order 6 and then 2 extra.. surprisingly chapatis where on tables within seconds. We asked for some extra rice which was served really really Scottish cold. Even after ages siting here water still not served. I believe that is something to be given to everyone even if someone don't ask for it. BASICS. We could see this guy drinking beer form them bar. Well that defines he might be owner. He could have waited us to leave and could have enjoyed his chilled beer. BASIC MANNERS. Check seemed fishy. Over priced. Almost 5£. We did check with him he said it's the new prices. Which was not so clear, cos menu shows a different prices. We don't mind tipping someone for a good food/service. Unfortunately they had non of it. ASIAN BEWARE, YOU MIGHT GET SCAMMED HERE."

"The food as always is excellent which is THE reason for use to go there. We booked early 1830 thinking it would be quiet aged parent hard of hearing but unfortunately for us it was not and as the acoustics in the restaurant are not great you can hear conversation going on at the other end of the room the noise level was quite high. Not ideal . There was a wait for the food but when it came it was excellent and compensated for the noise in a way."
