"Pub lunch nearby didn’t hit the mark so popped in for a light lunch. Not sure if server was over busy but welcome seemed lukewarm when only only one out of two of us ordered the lunch option as we were not particularly hungry. I ordered a vegetable curry to be made ‘desi’ style with green chilli’s. It was delicious! Just perfect. The best Indian food I have ordered while visiting Scotland. Perfect as always, lunch menu 8.45 and the food was piping hot and delicious. Massive mushroom pakora,,veg korma ,rice ,naan and chips ! Coffee is amazing too which is free with the meal.

We’d heard Ranas in Stirling we’re doing a buffet, used to love the Indian Brasserie years ago so we gave it a try, glad we did, superb value, curries were great even cooked one not on buffet for no extra cost, like all keeping food warm battered items not the best after a while but that’s all we found negative, server Gopi was really good, definitely will be back.

We were not hungrey but we’re drawn in by the aromas wafting outside. So ordered one meal to share of veg curry curry with Nan bread and poppodums. The dish was so tasty that we ordered 2 lots again as a takeaway for the evening to eat at our hotel. Alittle on the greasy side for my liking but as a one off it was acceptable. Looking forward to going back when we are in the area next time.
