"The First Impression is not always the last!!!!! we visited venue 5 for a birthday celebration, it is easy to locate and a fair decor. After being seated, i realized that the wine glass had a crack. Asked it to be changed, but the new glass never arrived. i reminded about 3 of servers to get a new one but no luck. finally one of them managed to conjure it but unfortunately it was dirty with wine stains on the bottom of the glass which was for me a big turn off. After a very bad first encounter, we only hoped we food better me good. We started with their Rasila-mango, chocolate freeze and couple mojito , which to my surprise was good. The mojito was served in a jar looking glass which was new and fun. We ordered about 6 starters including both Veg and non-veg. The portion size was good and not too much that you cant dare to eat mains after that. I specially like their garlic sauce prawns. For the mains we ordered V5 special lamb, which was nice and tender, chicken handi and of course prawns which i turned a fan off (P.s. i am a huge Prawns fan). The butter paaner was creamy and was not entirely made of tomatoes like some which i have eaten. My friends ordered Soya methi which i thought was weird combination but tasted good. The tandoori roti was soft and not like cold and hard you find in some of the restaurants. I was a bit disappointed with their chicken fried rice because the rest of the food tasted very good. Overall we had a good birthday celebration and all of us were very happy with the evening. Other than the incident with the glass which is the only reason i am marking it as great and not love it, its a good place to dine with your friends and family. Good portion size, good quality of food and acceptable pricing and good selection of cocktails and mocktails. Will sure to visit soon and hope the food taste the same or even better."

"Our order arrived at stated time..well it didn't take long to eat as we loved every dish. Each dish was generous in portion arrived piping hot. All meat was tender plentiful my vegetarian dish was amazingly tasty. I've written this straight after washing up as I was that impressed. "We were sightseeing in the area all day, and were tired and hungry. We found this lovely Indian restaurant. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. We had Lamb Rogan Josh and a lovely prawn dish in coconut milk and spices with garlic naan. A lovely calm oasis close to the Borough Market."

"We had booked a table a few days previously but when we arrived at the due time with our guests it was not set out. The problem was quickly resolved and did not detract from an excellent evening’s dining. The choice of food and styles here is excellent and the staff were knowledgeable in helping us with our choices. When it arrived the food was generous and well presented and hot (in temperature) and the different dishes were excellently spiced and well balanced – just what we expected. From the starters the Scallops Hariyali and the Chilli Prawns were marvellous. From the mains the Chicken Xacuti and Tandoori Sampler were of particular note, but our other starters and mains were all delicious. "I usually never write bad reviews as it's best to say nothing at all if you don't have anything nice to say. Also we are quite easy to please. However, this restaurant is just atrocious. Rude waitresses who didn't know what was on the menu! Rude service when pushing people out of the way to place food on the table. Orders wrong. 2 hour wait for main course and restaurant was empty. Accompaniments clearly out of a jar......one being Strawberry jam with chicken! I kid you not! Drinks spilt on guests. Food brought out at different times. The list goes on and on. Like I said, usually I don't write bad reviews but this was too poor to miss."

"I and my fiancé trusted deepali with their input to ideas for the design and taste of our engagement cake. it is very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. next to the cake design amazing, the taste was so beautiful and the texture was moist.
