"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"I would never come here again. Just a word of warning for those who see their vouchers on groupon..don't buy them as even though they're still selling them they won't accept them, nor let you in beyond the locked door. The guy who unlocked it was unapologetic unhelpful and turned us away.. if I could give no stars I would.."

"First time trying this restaurant last night. My husband and I opted for the chefs banquet. Excellent mix of starters with three lovely main dishes rice and naan bread. Very tasty and fresh excellent value for money and the complimentary drinks after dinner were a nice touch"

"Revisited after having moved away from London almost years ago and glad to say the food was as good as I remember it when we used to go regularly. It was a bit quiet, I assume from people being cautious about COVID, but deserves to be busy every night! I wish it was nearer so I could visit regularly but will have to content myself by visiting when I can."

"The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere but it is one of the worst currys I have ever had. The lamb curry was on tiny bits of bone that were floating n the dish. Each piece that I pulled out was covered in fat! Finding the meat between bone and the fat yuk!.. I mentioned to the waiter that is wasn 't very nice and they should say on the menu that the lamb is on the bone. They just said 'yes I keep telling them that ' but no suggestions of refund or replacement. Considering how very expensive is, very unsatisfactory!!!
