"A cold Tuesday night was made lovely by the warm welcome at The Roundhill. We had a table for two, and the staff were attentive. They have a great selection of drinks on their menu, including cocktails and specials. We had one cocktail each and they were delicious (cherry bakewell was mine, really good). The vegan food menu was hard to chose from, all sounded good from bites, small and large plates. We shared cauliflower wings great coating, pickles and wasabi mayo, generous portion too and some houmous with fresh pitta bread also absolutely delicious. Followed cocktails with a great aperol spritz and then went for their satay mushroom burger. The textures were spot on, crispy kale gave it bite, as did the ‘burger’. All the sauces and trimmings were tasty and the bun was quality not a brioche thank goodness! Triple cooked chips were a classic and well cooked. Didn’t have room for a dessert but judging by everything else I’m sure they would be ace. All through the staff were super friendly and checked on us without being intrusive. In fact we had a good laugh with them. The atmosphere was really relaxed and decor was homely. Music was at right volume and you weren’t on top of other diners. They do have events there like ring making workshops and guest musicians. Would be worth checking out methinks. Great place, super food, highly recommend and will return."

"What is it you want out of a fast food place in the UK? If you go by your usual picks such as McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC, you expect a certain level of mediocre over processed meat, ripe with fat, a layer of cheese...and if you’re lucky, a piece of lettuce, alongside some French fries, usually over salted – what you don’t expect is a true meaty bite, the reason you grip onto that burger and feel good at every, single, bite. Five Guys has been around since and has expanded rapidly into an already full industry, but what makes them so good? After this experience it can be said, the milkshake is vastly improved from any milkshake you’ve ever tasted in a fast food restaurant. The fries are exceptional, where you can taste potato, which makes you wonder, when did I last taste potato in a chip? Alongside the hint of peanut from their ‘unique’ frying process, and they may be the best in the business. Finally, their piece de resistance, the burger, now you have the options available to you as you might expect, a beef burger on its own, one with cheese and finally one with cheese and bacon, there are also ‘little’ burgers if you only want a single patty. In this case, I went for what should be the top menu item, at all the cheese and bacon you could want, with the addition of lettuce and onions so that I would not sully the taste of a true American burger. So why may I ask, is this burger hardly better than anything the UK has had to offer for the last years, the meat is there, but you could hardly tell the difference between this and a McDonald’s classic menu item, which is half the price. Oh, there’s the classic cheese slice lathered on top, at least it melts in your mouth I guess, which proves they cooked it. The texture of it all together is just slightly too soft that the meat feels processed beyond belief, considering it smells amazing, but even the taste is lacklustre. This truly makes you wonder where our sense of taste has gone, because this isn’t what you were ever actually after. Frankly, do you want good fast food? Grab a milkshake here, then nip next door where there will likely be anything else. I wish I could rate this place higher than I have, so many positive aspects, yet no one really wants consistency if it forfeits what you consider special to your customers."

"I've been an Amazon user for over ten years and I use online shopping websites almost daily. Until now... I've never once left a review! For anything! The cost of the burgers, fries, drinks and/or hotdogs tended to put me off eating in this place....It's probably the most expensive fast food' joint anywhere in the UK. But having grown tired of cold burgers from Macdonalds and with the Burger King XXL Bacon Burger being just as expensive, I decided to give it a go. I had a double cheese burger with bacon. My first surprise was the choice of extra toppings. Everything from lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, onions, jalapeños... That all comes included with the adverts used cost of the burger. Mine was £8.65 with mayonnaise and mushrooms. I waited about six or seven minutes for my number to be called. The staff were smiley, friendly and very Americany. . The burger came in thickly wrapped tinfoil. So if you wanted to take it home, it seemed as if it would stay pretty hot for a good twenty minutes. Not many first tastes' stay with me, but this one will. For the price, I expected it to taste like a little slice of heaven... I was not disappointed. The bread was extremely fresh, soft and doughy. The burgers were both tender and extra juicy. The two slices of American cheese were melted nicely (and didn't taste like rubber The generous six slices bacon were...Crispy!! The mushrooms and mayo just added to the flavour of what was, without doubt, the best burger I have ever eaten, anywhere. In total, I've spent close to a year in Florida over the past 20 years. The U S of A sure know how to make a burger! But even over the pond, I never found a burger that could even come close to the texture, flavour and quality of this little bad boy. There are no added salts or rubbish in the burgers, so I didn't get that sluggish' feeling after wolfing it down. If you're thinking it's expensive then you're right, it is. But if you're a burger lover... is it worth twice the price of a Big Mac or equal to the cost of a Triple Whopper? It's a. No-brainer. It's worth every penny. Not sure about the fries but you could always grab some for £1 from Macdonalds on your way out (they're about £4.50p in Five Guys). If you're in or around a Five Guys, go grab a double bacon burger. And if its at the Merry Hill branch in Dudley, West Mids, you'll probably find me in there... I'll probably be twice the size by then, but hey, I'll go out on a high. Peace y'all. Have a great day! And be kind to each other."
