"We got late Groupon deal (and babysitter)for the good ladies birthday. £34 for a sharing platter 2 including bread, cheese, meats and olives. This was followed by a shared potato gratas and 5 choices from the tapas menu. As is standard some of the items have a supplementary charge. We went for the King prawns in garlic and chilli, chicken and chorizo in a tomato sauce, pan serrano(garlic bread topped with manchego cheese and serrano ham), chicken burger sliders and a breaded cheese with a tomato sauce. The dishes came with a tomato sauce and garlic aioili dip. As you expect with Spanish tapas the good was hearty and tasty. We didn't leave a morsel on the table. This isn't a dog at the portion size (which was more than generous) it is just a testament to how good it was. We finished with chocolate fudge cake that we had to force down which was probably my least favourite course. This could have been down to being stuffed like a pig before the first spoonful so I wouldn't read too much into that. To drink we had a jug of sangria to share. Sweet and fruity. Scoffed the lot. Enough said. We will definitely be back again. Outstanding value. Lovely food. Brilliant service. Wonderful transport links (if like us you like a little tipple with your Friday night meal). You you are literally up the stairs and across the road from the bus and train station. Should be noted that the Groupon deal was for £34 which is a bargain in itself. As it had been a long time since I last used my Groupon I got an extra 50 percent off the deal. I will never spend under 20 pounds for that amount of quality grub again in my life. Been smiling all weekend. 1st time. Definitely not the last."

"Booked here with high hopes to end a fun day out. Photos of their outside courtyard looked nice and the menu looked good. When we arrived, we were shown quickly to our seat- good start! However from here, things went downhill... The tables in the courtyard were crammed in so tightly that customers could barely squeeze through to their seat, and even waitresses struggled. It was chaotic, and definitely not a Covid safe environment. I would have been safer sitting indoors and at a reasonable distance from other diners, rather than the cramped situation outside. From there, it continued. Waiting service was extremely slow- it took a very long time for us to have our order taken, the tables were set incorrectly- insufficient cutlery and napkins for the number of guests booked- and the waitress has clearly no idea what was going on, or much at all about basic waiting etiquette I asked for Pinot Grigio and was served something clearly not a Pinot, after describing to her that it's a white wine (lack of basic wine knowledge). Food and drinks took a very very long time to arrive and my chicken burger was lukewarm. The menu was severely reduced from the main one- acceptable in Covid times, but the choices left on the menu were very illogical and restrictive At every point, service was slow and filled me with little confidence in the quality of food or drink being served to us. We were going to order dessert but having waited minutes to be visited and our table cleared, we were put off and so asked for the bill- another long wait! Eventually we stood up to leave and went inside to pay- it would have been so easy to leave without paying as when I asked if we could pay, I was told by many people that they didn't know how to take our payment... shocking. I wish we hadn't paid: over for an experience I will not be repeating again. i would advise not opening until staff are clearly trained it's been made a Covis- safe environment! Bad experience..."
