"under his new owner, the restaurant changes slowly. but alex, the young chef is still there, so the quality of the kitchen is preserved. I had the rode as an appetizer and would do it again. I liked the confit de canard but would have preferred to cook a little longer slow. my wife found her otopus a little harder than she wanted, but enjoyed the taste. service was friendly. we were regular and will be back"

"We visited this restaurant for a friends birthday dinner on Friday night but the restaurant wasn’t too busy. We had a great time, the team were so friendly and very attentive. The food tasted amazing, great balance of flavours and spices. However, our orders arrived very quickly and wasn’t piping hot, just warm. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the food and overall, had a great time celebrating our friends birthday."

"Mezzorama offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant was almost full when we visited, filled with couples and small families, without any rowdy groups. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was top-notch. The only suggestion I have is for them to add more dessert options that are not ice cream-based. Although my partner's steak was cooked rare instead of medium as requested, I'm sure they would have gladly fixed it if we had asked. Overall, Mezzorama offers great value for the price."

"It was my partners 40th birthday and after seeing some good reviews on this restaurant I decided to book. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly hello and taken to our table which was cosy and off to one side of the restaurant as I have requested. The waiter was very nice and read us the specials with much enthusiasm so we opted for the tommo steak to share and it was a fabulous decision! From starter to main and then dessert and coffee, it was all fabulous. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The steak was perfectly cooked with a slight pink colour throughout just how we like it. Although a little more than what I had intended on spending, it was worth the money for what we got and by the end of our meal we felt full and very satisfied. I would definitely book at Ambrosia again. Thanks very much and see you soon."

"pizza is fantastic! after almost 20 pizzerias in london I finally found (a local with decent teig. decent is a compliment of what I saw and cost in london (I am a cook, with more than decent pizzaiollo experience. although the venue has massive oversized menus (which is always a bad sign, which in the rule costs 1 star of my review, I will still be a 5 star review for the best quattro formaggi pizza in the last year. "Could have been so good but....... On the positive side, great menu, local meat cooked really well, good value On the negative, as a group of six enjoying a birthday meal, we had to put up with a bunch of young kids running around, climbing over the furniture making plenty of noise. They were having a lot of fun !!! Their parents happy for the break, the staff either too busy or unconcerned so it just became more and more irritating as evening went on. Eventually we had to raise it with the manager, who at least showed some awareness by giving us a bottle of wine on the house as we paid our bill. Alas too little to late. This establishment needs to make a choice what it wants to be.At the moment, would say go their with ear defenders.However with the food as good as it is, I hope they work it out"

I have selected a starter, a main dish and a dessert from the dinner menu. I started with an salad with cured meat. Not bad, but I wouldn't ask again. "My wife and I visited the restaurant the day after Valentine's Day on a Friday night. We had booked a cabaret show with a steak dinner and it was fantastic. The performances were great and entertaining. I have only seen cabaret shows while on vacation, and this one felt like a step up from what I was used to. My wife had never been to a cabaret show before, and she enjoyed it as well. The host was also very funny and the food was great. I ordered my steak cooked well, and it came out somewhere between medium and medium rare, but it was still good. If you have a complaint, make sure to address it with the staff as some people can be difficult to deal with. The drinks were also fantastic, and the service was great overall. Our waitress, Emma, provided excellent service and I would definitely visit again in the future. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I couldn't have asked for more."
