"The service was very poor. We arrived there really looking forward to a nice meal out but the service was appalling. We arrived there and got sat at a table that was dirty. The waiters passed by us many times without taking our order. My daughter had to get up and get them to come to us every time we needed something. The soup that I got was served cold and the waiter's fingers were in the bowl of my soup. It took 45 minutes for prawn crackers to arrive as well as our drinks. They got the food that we ordered wrong and there was a waiting time of 1 hour and 30 mins even though the restaurant was literally empty. Please do not go here. It was not an enjoyable meal. Our drinks were served but mainly filled with ice and no beverage at all."

"Nice theme inside restaurant the staff are very friendly. We ordered a sharing platter the Food was good but when it came to the mains we were disappointed. The hainese chicken rice was tasteless the rice was a little hard not enough water when cooking it the portion of chicken was a speck to my eye very little. This is not how hainese chicken is served nor the taste. The legendary ksg was horrible the chicken was tasteless. The Pad Thai was the same the meat didn't taste good. I wouldn't say this was authentic."

"During our staycation at a nearby hotel, we decided to dine at this restaurant for the first time in over a year, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was all freshly cooked and piping hot. The staff and owner were very welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes such as Cheesy garlic mushrooms, Steak and ale pie with chips, Curried chicken with rice and chips, Kids chicken nuggets with chips, Kids lasagna with chips, and Chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. The ice cream was exceptionally creamy and delicious. Despite not taking any photos due to being too engrossed in the meal, we thoroughly enjoyed the old-fashioned pub ambience and would definitely recommend it. The food arrived promptly and was all incredibly tasty."

I look at restaurants when I look, and I was so glad that everything was fed from cute to table to washrooms! they have the opportunity to eat down to light access or up for a bit more private sphere. eating is nothing but extraordinary! everything was served in generous portions with fresh ingredients hot. it's the best in colchester, possibly the best carry food I had! it is also a good value for money without letting them scratch their head, saying: "You get what they have paid," because they get more than what they pay! who doesn't deserve tasty tasty tasty after a day? or now and then? "I visited the Full House Noodle Bar with a friend at the weekend after not being for some time. As always the food was tasty, fresh and good sized portions. Between us we had Spring Rolls, Prawn Toast, Salt and Pepper Chicken for starters followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken and Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. Also had egg fried rice and boiled rice. The staff are always very friendly and attentive throughout. It was all delicious and will continue to return here again in the future."

I tried to get as much food as I could just try, but there is only so much I can eat! prepare to become uncanny, as the sauce might drip everywhere. there is not much sitting opportunity available and they may have to sit next to others, otherwise they can eat them as being taken. this place also seems to be popular with the locals, as there was a small waiting queue both customers and delivery graters who were constantly waiting for pickups. "We tried everything from the buffet except for a plate of spicy chicken that we didn't enjoy. When we mentioned that we didn't like it, the server, an older lady, became extremely rude and made us feel uncomfortable. While I understand the need to avoid wasted food, we ate everything else and it was unacceptable how she treated us. If you're not open to trying new things at a buffet, I would recommend avoiding this place. The atmosphere was dull and the broken/distorted radio speaker was annoying. The food was below average. Save your money and choose a different restaurant."

"This place deserves more recognition. Great staff, great service, great atmosphere and most importantly great food. The star of the show was definitely the honey roast pork that came with vermicelli noodles, best pork I 've ever had! Also had nasi goreng which was a perfect level of spice and Thai fish cakes which were delicious. The drinks were divine (I had the cream crown green tea and the desserts were amazing as always (highly recommend the burnt cheesecake . Was a very calm atmosphere and I was able to get some work done on my laptop as the restaurant has plug sockets. All in all a great restaurant suitable for a variety of occasions, whether that 's a chilled study session or a date night. Will be coming again! The owners are from Hong Kong and they run a no frills restaurant focusing on quality dishes with fresh ingredients and not overusing seasonings. They were accommodating for our special needs son in a wheelchair and made space for us in their small eating area. They were attentive to our needs and checked in on us throughout our meal. We felt genuine care from the owners and had a friendly interaction with them. As for the food, we had the stir fried beef with whole green beans, stewed beef tendon, stir fried beef rice noodles, and some blanched lettuce. We like our food with less seasoning and they were happy to oblige. We are happy to support this small local business and highly recommend this restaurant. It's close to the York Minster and away from the more touristy part of town."

"The restaurant's deceptive pictures did not match our experience on Saturday night around 9pm. While the décor was as expected, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired as three tables were left dirty. With only two staff members working, it was clear that the restaurant was trying to cut costs, resulting in poor service when the restaurant got busy. The food was also disappointing, with thick pastry in the chicken dumplings, overly crispy duck, tasteless hoisin sauce, and vegetable-less spring rolls. Overall, the experience was subpar and I would not return. Iceland offers a better value and tastier Chinese meal."

"so i've been to Bangrak twice now the first time was prime dinnertime on a Saturday and the second was a casual Wednesday just after 5pm, both equally as pleasant. i tried a decent selection of dishes from the starters and in my honest opinion, none really stood out. we ordered the crispy fish sauce chicken wings, the fishing basket and spring rolls and all seemed a bit too oily, the flavour was there but we couldn't escape from the grease but that might have been my indecisiveness wreaking havoc and poor pickings were made. i then gladly dived head first into their tom yum soup as this was the star of the show and soon i forgot about any lacklustre appetisers very flavourful and rich, far from the stuff you get out of a jar! if this was the soup i had to drink for the rest of my life, i think i'd be okay with that. another mention is their massaman curry with tender bits of beef and potatoes in a sweet mild curry sauce may be biased but i dont care, anytime there's potatoes stewed in a curry sauce, i'm gonna like it because potatoes are god tier vehicles for flavour and this massaman was no exception to that fact. would definitely go to Bangrak again."
