"Went to celebrate my friends birthday. There were quite a lot of us and to make it easier, we sent our menu choices ahead of the meal. I went here quire a few years ago and it was very nice. In the past year or so it always looked quiet but has recently picked up and the reviews are good. Plus it seems to have had a bit of a makeover. All I can say is the service was excellent. They handled the large group of us brilliantly. Staff were extremely friendly. We all enjoyed our food. It seems to have more flavour than other Asian places. I loved my meal, but one person had the fish starter. I tried it and tbh it was one of the nicest dishes I have ever had. I will return again soon. Also the portion sizes are good and it seems to be good value as well. Well done. We all had a great time."

"I would like to begin by saying that I had the fajita wrap from here, and it was delightful therefore the reason for more than 1 star and I wish I had left a good rating for them instead of in a bad one. an about this experience. I'm sorry for this, but I'm humorously shocked and can't stop laughing every time I open the container. I'm sorry that I usually give good critiks, but I feel that this is a fyre festival conspiracy and I can't help feeling personal sacrifice after I have put an annoying request on avocado that they are not like the even most awesome I am. all in all, I would probably think to go back because they are pleasant staff to avoid the bagels from now on."

"I visited Bristol for a long weekend and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The atmosphere was friendly and the service provided by the Chef and Host was outstanding! As a native Cuban, I can vouch that the food and mojitos were top-notch. Whether you're meeting friends, going on a date, or simply wanting to try a new cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit in Bristol. And don't forget to order the "Flan" for dessert - it's the best!"

"had my first trip to the Koo shed this morning to the breakfast. the food was delicious, the best breakfast I ever had, everything was so fresh! the workers are all super beautiful and although very busy they took the time to make sure that we got everything we need and were very attentive! had the pleasure to meet the owners while our first bottle gets fresh milk, they ensured that we knew how the machine worked and were more than happy to answer all the questions we had. I could not recommend eating here for a bite and some beautiful fresh creamy milk (very cheap also.) also a beautiful garden section with a lot of plants, plant pots and garden ornaments. in the café area they also show video recordings of the cows in the fields (they see super happy running around) and the courtyard area. my own and my mother will be back 100% next time to taste the bakery and milk shakes!"

"I have never felt robbed after visiting a restaurant before, I did last night. Service was poor and slow. Although some staff were good two had attitude with everything they did. The Steak was terrible. Hard to cut despite being medium rare. For the price I could have bought 3 and cooked to a far higher standard. The entire menu is overpriced for what it is. I won't be visiting again. Lack of atmosphere and to hear who I assume is the manager at the bar saying they are too busy for more or something along those lines. It was nowhere near full and you could see they were struggling. There was 6 of us and it was the biggest waste of £200 ever. Edit: forgot to mention the menu didn't make any sense, banoffee pie said it had a digestive base but it they used rich tea. So weird."

"Good varied menu and selection of cakes. Reasonable prices . Food didn't take long to come despite it being quite busy. Food was fresh, and a good sized portion, and nicely presented. Great front of house service from the waitress, she was very efficient, friendly and helpful about menu choices. Plus a nice little shop to buy meals and other goodies to take home. Parking: Parking on site, plus overflow parking available in field opposite . Service: Dine in"

"The style of service here really let it down for us. The food was quite good we tried the tacos (chicken was nice, fish ok), salad with chicken (average) and guacamole (very good) and it was filling and ok for the price. But it’s a self service restaurant where you have to get your own cutlery, sauces and drinks, and place your orders online. This means you have to create an account, which takes time, and the menu if you have any dietary requirements is not easy to navigate. I asked one of the staff a question and felt like I was being a huge inconvenience to him. For this reason we wouldn’t go back. There was also a strong smell of bleach where we were sat, which put me off my food."

"I'm a huge dishoom fan. I was in london and always wanted to check out the edinburgh. be careful if you want to come Friday Saturday Sunday, book a table in advance! eating was amazing! great quality and serving for the price. and I am surprised how fast they serve. I thought to work a bit before they serve, but I got my pc out, eating was done! also they did the grill so perfect, not overcooked nor undercooked. also says a lot of how much they care for the quality of the food they serve. as I write, my dessert is ready! how can they make it to get eat so fast?! these iceflakes remind me of a dessert in china, 沙1987. great taste! Finally they want special hommage to the personal mat. he is so passionate and responsible and serves the minimum requirements, even if he was busy to turn tables. dishoom is happy to have workers like him who loves his job and knows what he does."

"This is the second time we went, and we agreed that it has improved quite a bit over the last year or so. We had rice with green/red curry and stir-fried pork. It was spicy and tasty. Very good, reasonably priced for covered market food. I think this is one of the top 5 Asian food places in Oxford. We will definitely go again. Unfortunate that it is not possible to order take away from home, so it might it take a little longer until we come back. We know Asian food as we lived in South-East Asia for years. This is very decent food and not too expensive for UK standards, really. Give it go if you are around. If you like Thai food, you won't be disappointed."

"As a couple we have just enjoyed another special dining event atThe OakatKingshill. Consistently good cooking is enhanced by regular special events. This evening’s focus was a Caribbean evening. The menu included fried salt fish, curried crab, prawn gumbo, pork ribs curry goat, jerk chicken rice and peas and corn on the cob with optional extra sides and a choice from two desserts. All at a very fair price. Many thanks to Jonathan, Becky and team."

"With the second largest ethnic population in Malaysia being Chinese, I found my way to a few Chinese Malaysian restaurants as well. Malaysia Kopitiam I ate at Kopitiam very soon after I first arrived in London as it was the only place that I knew that made pan mee' 板面. I wasn't too impressed but I absolutely loved the sambal carrot cake. The extra touch of sambal gave it that more-ish kick! I came back another time when a friend of mine, Ms Chocoholic wanted to eat there and I ordered something else that I've never tried before which is the Hokkien Noodles. They were tasty but did not leave a lasting impression. Will I recommend: Yes Will I come back: Yes Have I had better: Yes...read more"

"I've been visiting Slims Kitchen in the past, very often. However something has clearly changed as their food used to be great. Went in and ordered takeaway avocado sandwich, didn't wait long, service was good, BUT for the 6£ I paid this is what i got in a box. ONE slice of toast, with bit of mashed avocado, some grilled tomato and seeds. 2 stars overall but gave you 3 as the smoothie is still okay. I think you could do better."

"For my first time at Wagamama, it was a lot better than I expected. I've always thought of it as the Macdonalds or KFC of the Asian food world and supported local restaurants. However, the one I was going to go to was closed for maintenance so I grinned and beared it when my boyfriend suggested Wagamama. As soon as I walked in I felt a warmth in the room, physically and metaphorically. It was scorching hot and it smelled fantastic. We were seated on a shared table which I really liked, and left to browse the menu. I was surprised to see so many Japanese foods like gyoza and ramen, but no sushi. They had Chinese steamed buns on there (Bao and kimchi (they spell it kimchee which I've always thought to be a Korean food. So this mix of Asian foods confused me a bit considering I thought I was meant to be a Japanese style of restaurant. I ordered the prawn itame, and my boyfriend got the chilli ramen, as well as chicken gyoza and miso soup with pickles. We drank a carrot juice and the (FREE! green tea. My itame was gorgeous the lemongrass and coconut with the lime and coriander worked really well together and I was happy with my choice. The miso soup was slightly tepid and I thought it could have had more tofu in it. The gyoza was great, and the sauce was lovely too. Not the best I've had but considering it's a chain, not bad. The ramen was ok, but took a lot of seasoning for it to have as much flavour as was needed. We both left full, warm and happy with our meals, and the reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is because the miso soup let them down. Otherwise, it was great and I'll be back!"

"This Thai restaurant in London is my favorite spot to dine. The food is outstanding, made with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including many vegetarian options. The selection of wines is lovely and the service is exceptional. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is nice. Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Barnes, this restaurant is a winner in every aspect."

"Very friendly greeting from staff and very helpful with meal choices. The restaurant is quite large and goes back a fair way. The front is a normal set up of tables, but at the back its a much more relaxed style is adopted as you can also book Shisha pipes with over 50 flavours to choose from, if that is your wish. We asked what they would have/recommend and were brought a starter of hummus, baba ghanoush, deep fried pitta bites and some flat breads to dip. For mains we had grilled chicken rice, lamb koftas chips and a mixed grill of these with grilled lamb also. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but we had a yoghurt drink, i believe called Ayran, which was lovely. Dessert was a small selection of baklava with either tea or very strong Arabic coffee. The whole experience was wonderful and our friends even returned with other people the next night. Highly recommended."

"we really fought in chinatown, first to find a restaurant that was open (it was over 3pm) and then one that even had a vegetarian dish. after at least 45 minutes window shopping we were at big bowls door. her menu had many things and we're just exhausted. the point of the long-term introduction is that if they have diet (or budgetary) restrictions, please proceed directly here. their combo menus are a lot of food for 2 (big bowl in the did.) the Veg-Copsuey I had was a satisfying dish of noodles and steamed vegetables. they did not sneak on exotic veggies, how to do cheaper places. the green apple native mojito was too sweet, but refreshing...read more"

"Visited today with family, 6 of us all together. We ordered a mixture of foods and drinks. We were served by a lovely young lady for drinks. The food was absolutely amazing. The two female chefs cooked all the food to an amazing standard. The small open kitchen is lovely. All Of our plates were clean when we finished eating. We then had two desserts of Milky Bar Cheesecake and again they didn’t disappoint us. The chefs have only just started in this pub and we were unable to find any fault with the food, drinks and service. They will be starting doing Sunday roasts as of next weekend, so we are looking forward to going back very soon."

"I thought there was a good range of gluten free options here and mostly the reviews were positive so thought I would give it a go, especially as it was only a 10 minute walk from my accommodation. Very polite staff, even to the point of setting my napkin out for me. I found it difficult to understand them with the masks and accents (I am partially deaf) and we had a bit of too and fro about how many poppadoms I wanted but it worked out fine. The chicken dish I had was flavoursome and plenty of it. Though my rice seemed quite dry. I liked the little appetiser pickles to go with the poppadoms to start. HOWEVER this was not a complimentary starter, you pay for it as I saw it was added to my end bill. I didn't expect that and wouldn't have had it had I known. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would return there, though the 2nd time would be make or break."

"Just had a delicious evening meal served by friendly and knowledgeable staff whom were spot on with their recommendations. We ordered prawns, calamari and sliders to start which were all cooked to perfection. The sauce served with the calamari was a welcome change to traditional mayo/tartar. The highlight of our meal was truffle risotto (and, for my other half, steak) which consisted of tiny white mushrooms and thin slices of truffle. Cocktails are both moorish and beautiful! We had espresso and lychee martinis. Generous portion sizes meant that there was no room for dessert next time. A great restaurant which delivers excellent standards of food at a very reasonable price."
