"No one to meet us at the door and show us to a table. When we headed to a table, we were intercepted by the manageress, who rolled her eyes and raised eyebrows in dismay that we were headed for a table. We were told that we had to sit at a table for two, although a lone female customer came in just after us, who sat at a table for four, as did a man five minutes later. There were parents struggling at smaller tables, trying to feed their children. There was a poor choice of beverage and much on the menu was not available. One expects to pay a premium when eating out and in return one expects not to be treated by a sarcastic manageress. I expect my wife and myself to be treated with dignity, if not respect. This was a shameful experience which I certainly will not allow to happen again. The manageress lacks charm and finesse, and the food is overpriced and uninteresting."

"I ordered The Don with Chunky Skin-on Fries and Garlic Mayo dipping sauce. It was the best burger I have ever had! No wonder there was about a 15-20 mins wait, because it was worth it. The waitress was adorable. I would definitely recommend it and I wish we would've visited it another time to try something else, it is a must-try!"

"another burger restaurant where they choose what they want in their table and then ask and pay them at the pay desk. my juice (bigberry and oldest) was really nice and with unlimited refill for just £2.15 is great! I tried the peanut butter milkshake and I really liked it too (it is a bit expensive, but it is worth it). my burger (bacon pesterella) had blue cheese instead of mozzarella, as they did not have it this day. it was a beautiful burger. not unbelievably different from others I cost it, but not bad at all. the cheesecake friries were different from me eating and I liked them. I found it really funny, they have free ground for the customers. I tried a few. they were pretty old, but yet the idea is really cool. I also loved the container for the ketchup. the burgers could be a little cheaper because they don't bring any chips/frets. the total was around £30 for two burgers and two drinks, but I had 15% cashback so it was at the end a decent price. a beautiful place in the city center I would go back."

"what for a profit of a fund! for the day to cantebury landed and did not expect to find such a beautiful health food café. very popular, people in and out there small caffe great to see healthy food caffes decrease as these. the menu is great and food deliveries in taste can easily compete with any local iondon health café. healthy desserts are not all healthy, as sugar only the datum balls are a safe bet. the coca hot drink is something I never had, an amazing one! their only failure is their service, a little disprganized, especially with regard to their bills. the only place to go to cantebury!"

"The hamburger here are tasty. The fried chicken of chicken burger is big slice and crispy. And I love their beef burger, the patty is juicy and delicious. You can ask how you like the patty to cook. "ambiente 5/5 taste 4/5 service 4.5/5 price 3/5 ambience when I came to the place, I knew that I would enjoy my time here. from furniture to light everything is beautifully placed, the variety of lights decorating the restaurant is crazy. taric I went here with my friends, from whom 2 vegetarians were and fortunately gourmetburger kitchen managed to also please their taste buds, which is rare in such a case. we ordered a classic chicken, classic bark meat, coro shake and two classic veg burger. all of them tasted delicious with some really tempting sauces on their sides.(must taste the kiwi fruit sauce) the shake was thick and super delicious. service that reached our tables within 10 minutes and the server made us welcome. price okay so I have problems here, because only a 6oz burger I had to pay £9, which I think is too much for a court that does not even contain one side. for a complete eating I wouldn't make it pay this price, but for just one burger, it hurts somehow:p I'll explain it to you. I guess so."

"Visited as a group of 4. The food came out for 2 people and the other 2 ended up having to wait another 15 minutes for food. Food was your everyday nandos quality as always but as a frequent visitor of Nandos I've never had the issue where only half of the table being served and the other half just left there without an explanation. I was expecting someone to collect the chicken stick to ask if everything was okay to bring it up, but it was just left the entire meal. I ended up having to ask a member of staff to follow up with our missing food."

"Myself, husband and son were in Windsor for the day as part of my son's 18th Birthday celebrations. Where we went for lunch was his pick and he really fancied a burger so Gourmet Burger Kitchen seemed an obvious choice. I have to say I'm not the biggest burger fan so the thought of a burger restaurant didn't thrill me. Firstly we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who quickly sat us down. The menu choice was impressive and despite initial reservations I found several items that sounded tempting. I decided to opt for the Chargrilled Chicken Satay Burger and went for the bunless option. My son had The Mighty with fries and onion rings and the husband had The Major Tom with the addition of avocado and bacon. Drinks wise we had an Oreo milkshake, Ginger Beer and a makeshift Mocha as it is not something on their menu but our helpful server was very quick to oblige and create a Mocha for us. For someone who was decidedly underwhelmed at the thought of a burger restaurant it was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. My bunless burger was served with Homeslaw and corn in place of a bun, a very nice substitute. As for my husband and son ...well firstly my son was beaten by his massive burger which is a first big my husband polished off his. In conclusion great food made even better by the fabulous staff. Thank you we will be back next time we visit."

As such it’s still very smart and shiny inside, with lots of glass and nice-looking wood poshing' up the interior enough to signify that this is NOT a fast food restaurant. No bright plastics used here! (I must confess to a nasty habit of forgetfully calling it ‘Gourmet Burger King’!)GBK specialises in top quality burgers and what a choice! There are about ten different choices of beef burger, four chicken, five vegetarian and five extra-special specials (buffalo or wild boar burger anyone? Everything is extremely tasty, but having worked my way through a fair bit of the menu I have settled on the rather “old school” favourite of the cheeseburger! Burgers are all under a tenner, but you do have to get fries and sides separately. An average meal with wine would be but you can reduce that enormously by laying your hands on a for voucher (available on the internet at the moment).Would definitely recommend GBK for a quick bite at the start of your evening, as the quality of burger will not be found elsewhere in York. "Came into Burger king today for some dinner whilst having a break from my shopping. I was greeted by a lovely looking chap named jack, who was smiling and seemed happy to help with anything i needed. I felt so welcomed and greeted by him, and the service was amazing, he really made my day, cracking jokes, and getting on with me well, all whilst staying professional. I think all staff who work there should aspire to be as cheerful and delightful to interact with. The food came and was absolutely lovely, and when i requested some sauce, once again jack was ready to serve me, still just as welcoming. i have never experienced such amazing customer service at a fast food place before, and Jack, has made my week! :"

"Yummy yummy burgers! I simply love the GBK in Richmond because not only its location near the bars but also because every time I've gone in there the staff are so friendly! The restaurant is relatively big and although the tables are lined up with each other you don't feel cramped. The ambience is lovely and i would recommend it for both couples and groups of friends. Overall, if you enjoy burgers then GBK should satisfy you, their burgers are delicious and unlike take away burgers that are greasy, GBK burgers are exactly what they say Gourmet! "It does what it says in the title burgers! There is a good selection of burgers and a choice of fries to have with them. If you like onion rings, you will love it here as they do very good onion rings! Overall very...good food. We took advantage to the two for one deal, but if you were to order using the standard menu prices this restaurant is on the more expensive side. Surprisingly you order food at the bar and pay up front, surprising because it was really quiet and the staff could easily have taken the order from us at our table. I would have rated Service as Average, but staff were quick to resolve a forgotten item so I went for Very Good. However, if the order had been taken at the table it wouldn't have been forgotten in the first place. Maybe need to rethink the ordering policy here when there are so many options including how rare or well done you want your burger?"
